The best restaurants serving British food in South East

Quick late afternoon drink with a work colleague in this venue - venue is very modern and smart, and set over several different floors. Service was decent with a nice atmosphere inside, around 4 pm.

Además de un magnífico helado italiano - helado Los domingos tienen elección de asados, y a menudo el lunes también hay un asado en el tablero de especiales.

We chose to support an independant business but were disappointed. The staff at Chichester North were indifferent and unfriendly. We ordered a cinnamon whirl with our coffees and received a cinnamon bun as apparently they do not do cinnamon shirls. It was inedible. The tea was mediocre. No efforts by the staff to greet customers, smile or say goodbye. Will not be visiting any of their branches again.

Subjected to racist interaction with a barman, while visiting for a drink with family after a birthday meal. Horrifying experience. Staff have zero customer facing skills, take no accountability and this establishment needs to go back to the drawing board when it comes to training!

Un poco decepcionado para ser honesto. Tuvimos un par de horas alrededor de la tienda , que disfrutamos mucho , y decidimos el desayuno . Aguacate y salmón ahumado para mí, y salchichas y tomates para mi marido, tanto en masa madre tostada, como en una olla de té. Tuve que repetir mi pedido... al igual que los clientes que me adelantaban... 3 veces ... . , y luego preguntó “ ¿está seguro de que no quiere un huevo con él “ dos veces ! Había demasiado personal haciendo lo mismo, y no había suficiente espacio para más de un cocinero especialmente en la parrilla hasta que un supervisor intervino. Veinte minutos haciendo cola con solo dos pedidos delante de mí... me pareció mucho tiempo... El aguacate se extendió muy fino, y el salmón ahumado era muy aceitoso. Esposo disfrutó de su . ¡El té estaba bueno!

Parfait pour les petits budgets avec un grand choix de burgers, pizza et autres mais pour ce prix là n'attendez ni qualité ni quantité. 20 livres pour 3 plats et 3 boissons. personnel souriants et sympas

Awful. The restaurant 's chairs and sofas were filthy.. Even though it was quiet it took ages to be served a coffee and cake. The chocolate cake was very dry and I've had superior coffee at a fast food outlet. Stopped into the Waitrose franchise to buy a loaf of bread - some bread was dated 25th September and after waiting at the till for 10 minutes I left my purchases there. On the positive great range of outdoor plants.

Staff very friendly and efficient. Food nice and as expected for a hotel grill/bar/restaurant. But seriously the prices? £18.49 for an average burger and chips? These are prices you would expect to pay for a burger at a very nice restaurant not at at a restaurant at The Village. It was no wonder it was almost empty except for a load of people in fancy dress who I guess were off to a Christmas "Do" in your function room.

When I arrived I was greeted very cordially, taken to a table, informed that my waiter would be over shortly and left. So far so good. My waiter appeared with a menu and inquiry as to my drinks order. He returned with my drink and then promptly disappeared. I heard him introduced to other prospective diners as their waiter so it looked like he was the only one. I keep seeing him making drinks at the bar, watched by what it seemed were at least another two barmen who didn't do anything to help. There seemed to be a distinct of urgency when it came to the waiter taking food orders so I drank up, went to the bar to pay for my drink and walked down the road to the Beefeater where I got something to eat.

Llegué a tomar una copa y me pregunté si podía tomar mi cerveza, porque incluso la cabeza estaba corta de la parte superior del vaso. ¡La camarera rubia y alta acaba de responder "No, no puedes entrar más"! Señalé que era de poca medida, así que agarró el vaso, lo rellenó y golpeó el vaso en la barra como un niño petulante. We drove up here from the south coast to sample the cafeteria and generally check out the lay of the land since I last worked at the Gardens back in the early 80s. It being a bitterly cold day, we didn't visit the gardens themselves. We made a bee line for the cafeteria which is nicely set out. The serving staff were pleasant enough but we were shocked by the prices. For our party of 5 having just some simple teas and hot drinks we left 22 quid at the pay desk! We looked at the prices and simply laughed at them charging 6 quid for a sausage roll. I don't mind paying for good, high quality things but we all thought that the prices here were ridiculous. Pity.

Used to be the best All Day Breakfast in Surrey. What happened - dried up bacon impossible to cut with the plastic cutlery. Raw tomato, luke warm beans and rubbery scrambled egg, all served on a cold plate. Tasteless tea served in a paper cup. Tables and floor in need of cleaning too. Not a good experience. Staff were pleasant and helpful though.

Give this one a skip. We ordered the chicken pasta x 2 and margarita pizza. The pasta had a watery spinach sauce and overcooked chicken. The pizza was borderline burnt. Also overpriced. The terrace is much better with fresh seasonal food and food portions.

Just superb. Great eating chips on the beach and just chilling. Worth going to enough the best chips on the island. Thank you
