well having read some of the more negative reviews for the hotel, i wasn’t sure what to expect .. however, the negative reviews are just nothing we experienced, to the contrary - all the staff were absolutely brilliant. on hand to attend to matters, Anneleise worked tirelessly and ensured our 2 night stay was totally spot. the rooms are warm and cost, clean -serviced in the day there’s a cosy feel and whilst we only had the breakfast as we were in windsor to visits friends, the food was plentiful it is a great position for anywhere you need to be in than that area, not far from the motorway and not on busy roads would we go back - yes, for the value for money and staff friendless it’s 5/5 from us 👍

Fair enough....some people are not A persons yet if you are working around 5AM you have to be pro and offer friendly service and not being rude and offer bad service. My wife got very rude service but funny thing that changed a bit when the staff member saw her use a crutch. Of in the hell should that matter........... The food came fast and for the price we paid way way higher for breakfast than in Crawley and Brighton, the portion was small and the food less than average. We have had all over the world much better food and service in airports so I would stay away from this one.............

Being new to the area, and the restaurant is within walking distance of our home, we decided that we would try it out. Front of house staff were very friendly and helpful. It didn’t seem particularly busy on the night we visited, not in the area where we were seated, but they had ‘sold out’ of a few things that we wanted to order, a particular beer, Thai Green curry and a pancake dessert that my grandson wanted to try. The meals we ordered we all enjoyed, the fish and chips were lovely but I wasn’t too impressed with the chips and would rather have a few chunky ones rather than fries, which were over cooked.

Absolutely disgusting. Dirty floors and tables. Miserable staff and no interaction and exceptionally slow service. As if that wasn't enough to put you off then came the food. The meat was full of fat and grissle, processed peas not garden peas and lumpy mash potato. No wonder you have to pay before getting your food because if you hadn't paid for it beforehand you would refuse to pay. Not worth anywhere near the cost. Will never return and will make sure I let people know how bad it is.

Went to dobbies today for The Christmas dinner that I pre-booked for my Mum and my self, we had to wait quite awhile to be seated even though there was loads of empty seats. Christmas dinner is definitely not worth going for, it looked nothing like the picture half of the veg wasn’t even cooked properly, the potatoes were boiled not roasted, the turkey look like a processed Bernard Matthews turkey. The Stuffing was dry. The parsnips was hard in the middle, there was nothing appetising on the plate whatsoever. And it looked nothing like what there advertising , It was all under cooked apart from the Brussels, It didn’t even come with any cranberry sauce. Christmas pudding was absolutely fine, but when they brought it out, We asked for some spoons. No one bought any over so we had to go and steal some from another table, even though I told the staff we need spoons, I told the waitress we didn’t enjoy the Christmas dinner whatsoever she said she would speak to the manager and we heard nothing else. No one came to see us at all, I would not go back there at all and I would never recommend going there, for dinner, It was definitely not worth £43. I wouldn’t even go there if it was free

1.5 Hours wait for food after order was taken, when it finally came the famous half roast chicken was more like a quarter, it was bland, and slightly overcooked so this made it dry. They forgot half the side dishes and when it came it one was wrong. The chicken wings were cooked around 3 times I think, they were very hard to eat and smothered in thick barbecue sauce…. Was the first and last visit….

£85 PARKING FINE FOR EATING AT YOU RESTAURANT! NITHING OR NOBODY SAID TO ME THAT I HAD TO PUT MY REGISTRATION IN ON ENTERING TO ORDER. TRIED TO DISPUTE AS WHAT OTHER REASON WOULD WE BE THERE. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE. COST OF LIVING CRISIS AND THE LIKES OF YOU FINE FOR KEEPING YOU IN BUSSINESS. NEVER EVER WOULD I RECOMEND OR VISIT HARVESTER AGAIN. MANY THANKS

3 couples meeting for brunch, very underwhelming food, bacon too hard at bottom of skillet, tortillas over heated and too hard, poached eggs were hard and not lovely and runny, sausage bap was just a flat type sausage in a bun, very expensive for the quality of food. We had our empty plates in front of us for ages before they were collected, staff seem very inexperienced, and the attention to detail is not given. On top of all the above, toilet cubicles were grubby, such a shame for a lovely new building and great setting that it’s not providing top class food and service.
