We keep giving this place second chances But this time The breakfast was stone cold Why? They did replace it for me but the mushroom's were still raw

Vrap food crap like to cook of lots of food and hot hold it only thing fresh is steak management treats you like crap threatening to hit you

We think this is the nicest weather spoons in Brighton because of the view over the marina And cosy building with lots of seating

Firstly, let me state that I am a fan of Wetherspoon, and being on the road a lot for work, I use them regularly all over the south east. The Chichester pub is the best I have so far discovered anywhere, and the fish and chips at Bexhill Wetherspoons is amazingly good. This one, however.... Firstly we couldn't find a table that wasn't left with the detritus of the previous occupants. The whole place was a mess, both inside and outside, with food around the tables on the floor and table tops like the aftermath of some children's tea party. The tables were left with glasses and crap, so I found a place that wasn't't as bad as everywhere else and cleared the table myself onto what remained on the next table. The table was sticky, and it was just horrible. In hindsight, we should have left. The prices - being here in Brighton at the marina - isn't priced as other Wetherspoons, but the prices are almost as high as the regular pub opposite. No £1.99 beer here, but around £4.50 a pint. The food, well that is pricy too. I love fish and chips at Wetherspoon generally, so went for that. The fish was a small pathetic dried up specimen that looked as if it was bought at the Asda opposite and chucked in the oven. I counted 17 chips, that were probably the dregs of the last batch. It was totally rubbish and certainly not worth the £12, with a drink, which appeared to have been only partly deducted at the final total. Never again. There is no way I am coming to such a dirty and unattended Wetherspoon, and especially considering that this must be the most expensive venue of all Wetherspoons that I have ever visited. It was disgusting. Needless to say that the other food was equally poor. Simply, don't come here, and I hope that Wetherspoons get notice of this shambles that is ruining their good name and throw out the current management, if there actually is any. Go elsewhere. Don't come here. Utter rubbish, and probably a health risk.

Terrible young staff with attitude … I had breakfast and ordered through the app as recommended by one of the staff members and I wanted to go ahead and get my coffee and ask where to get it from , was rudely told why was I not at my table outside because she went all the way to take my drink and cup for the coffee and I wasn’t there lol … not going there again . Also had my breakfast and staff was no where to take my plate after I finished had seagulls flying by on my table to finish up a poor breakfast …

Dirty hole! Won't go back. Cheap and nasty . Tables filthy and everything tacky. Very unfriendly and Very Disappointed

Lovely place to be over looking the marina but the table service is apauling, Today me and my wife sat outside in the sun for 2 hours, we saw waiters and waitresses come out with drinks and food and take 1 or two glasses back in with them, our table must have had 20 empty empty glasses on and nobody came near fir two hours. The no smoking areas were ignored by people smoking. Wetherspoons policy of no dogs also ignored with dogs barking and one dog wondering round jumping up at tables. Probable the worst Wethers about.

For some reason I thought that a Wetherspoon at this location must be awesome. So I was a little bit dissapointed. Looks good from the outside, but not so much on the inside. Very crowded too, busy and loud noise. I love Wetherspoon usually, but still this one is just nice enough, nothing more. Actually is the best of the 3 Wetherspoons in Brighton, so Wetherspoons and Brighton don't mix well.

Staff always work hard to overcome being short of help, I guess it’s company policy to cut costs, we’ve always loved this one anyway. Great location. Nice people.

So sad how this pub has gone down hill...visited yesterday tables, chairs and floor absolutely filthy...did not order food as it looked greasy and dire...ordered a glass of wine at 3.30pm to be told there were no wine glasses! Not even the lunchtime rush! Tables not cleared seagulls crashing cutlery to the floor no staff came out...sadly neglected and unloved...money could be well spent somewhere else

Nick was brilliant. Always aware of customers, very polite. He never stopped. We felt sorry for him as he had no help but he never complained. Staff like that are gold dust to any business. He certainly made our visit enjoyable. Great venue & great food.

Ordered from the app, food arrived 45 minutes later and was cold. There were not enough staff, tables were left uncleared and dirty, coffee machines not restocked quickly resulting in long queues. It’s a shame as it’s a nice venue in a good location but badly let down by quality and customer service

We visited on a very stormy day in early January, unsurprisingly the pub was fairly empty. Had a couple of drinks before facing the storm again which were both ok. The interior is furnished in a very twee style, like something out of a historical re-enactment - completely at odds with the exterior which looks like a 1980's low rise office block. Felt like they were struggling to keep the place warm. Many tables were messy / sticky. Also quite hard to find the entrance in the dark. Useful for a stop-off but wouldn't rush back here.

Fair prices for food good service but let down by the state the gents toilets the floor needs a deep clean and the urinals are in a very poor state Desperately in need of lime scale remover And replacement urinal mats Smells of stale urine in the area If this is the acceptable level of cleanliness in the toilets I hate to imagine what the kitchen area looks like

Family of 7. Only 30% full six waiting to be served in upstairs bar. Over 20 mins no staff. Not one table was clean. Others stacked with Glasses and empty plates. Eventually found guy behind the bar asked if a table could be cleaned and cleared his reply despite doing nothing in a quiet corner was I will at some point.... to this as the place was such a filthy mess and zero staffing upstairs decided to take the whole of our party to alternate venue. Lost revenue of over £100. Your company obviously do not give a dam about customers or the standards of their establishment.

Gone really down hill over the last few months, food is 1/5. Shame, was always 'not to bad'. Been here 3 times in the last month, probably won't eat here again.

Disappointing visit. Tables were dirty, nothing had been cleared away yet it was not particularly busy. The food was very poor. We have been happy on previous visits but the place has definitely gone downhill.

Decided to Visit here as haven’t been in many years and my god it’s gone down hill. The food was cold, tasteless and bland. They also discriminate against dogs which I was really shocked about, apparently this is now weatherspoons policy. I won’t return

Cameron was lovely. Really Friendly and helpful. I don't think anything was too much trouble. Drinks machine much better than last visit. Cutlery could do with a clean. Good job we had wipes. Good was nice but not very hot.

Just back from a stay in the marina at the flats decided not to cook but eat out so we went in for breakfast food ok first day but plates cold so food had to be eaten quickly quality was good , simple adjustments like hot plates to help keep food hot ,so we thought let’s give them chance for breakfast next day , big mistake plates still cold if not colder fried eggs hard , bacon cold , beans lukewarm one of us had scrambled eggs on toast scrambled eggs really wet and runny we ate what we could and left couldn’t be bothered to say anything staff seemed under pressure just little adjustments and care and things could have been so different staff training required tables need cleaning after people finish there meals as well

Awful food came stone cold and portion size was rubbish when told waitress they redone it and look and tasted like they had just microwaved the plate aviod like the plague

Upon entry we should have realised turned round and found somewhere else, but it was raining and they were serving food! Finally found a table that wasn’t placed in the dark and dingy interior, most tables were left covered in plates and glassware, we found one near a window so we could at least see . We ended up cleaning our own table with wet wipes! Sticky wasn’t the word. Ordered our food and drinks which were standard Wetherspoon fare. The servers were not very enthusiastic and it was obvious the minimum effort was going to be given in every aspect of our service. Food came , it was ok nothing special. The toilets were smelly and obviously well used and never cleaned to a proper standard. Doubt if I’d ever return, definitely wouldn’t recommend.

Coffee that tastes like water, I know it is cheap as you have to go to the machine to make it, but at least have decent tasting coffee , tasted so weak

I had all day brunch the eggs were hard not soft the chips were over fried I eat one sausage this was pretty hard Shame there was no quality in the all day brunch served my friends paid I definitely would not off paid for this how ever the fudge cake was lovely .

Went here for lunch today 23rd June says no dogs but 2 dogs were in eating area indoors not one member of staff took any notice abd ýet they were barking let's get it right I've used over past 10 years as local it's either dogs or no dog except for dogs for blind or assistance dogs these were none off won't eat there again until sorted

Wetherspoons is Wetherspoons, it says it on the tin but disappointed with the beers, beers finished but not replaced & even had the pump labels left on. Not what we expect & obviously staff with no supervision

This has to be the worst Wetherspoons I have ever visited. Drinks took 20 minutes to arrive. Food awful. Burgers dry, chips cold, lasagne rubbery. Table sticky. Toilets dirty with a bucket catching water coming from the ceiling. Staff looked miserable. Never again.

Went for breakfast in the sun, food and service was good, warm plates needed as,eating outside. Big shock and disappointment in the lack of cleaning tables with old food stuck in the gaps , they seem to clear tables but don't give tables a good clean down straight away so you have to ask. Also if food is left under hot plate please be aware that the butter will turn to liquid & when my husband opened it ,it poured over his jeans .Staff very helpful & friendly.

This was a really nice experience after Lockdown in April 2021. We had not had a drink out for four months and were spending a weekend in Brighton. The pub was open, the Covid secure practices were very good and the staff and value for money was outstanding. There are a number of options for outside seating in sun and shade with excellent views and a really pleasant ambience at a reasonable price. We had not booked, but registered on the Track and Trace and could select our own table. The staff were visible quickly and took our order and brought our drinks.

Service was quick. That’s the only good thing about this place. I had a panini that was barely warm. The bbq chicken was just chicken with some bbq sauce spread on the panini. The bacon and been shown some heat at some point but not very enjoyable. Chips are ok. Would avoid in future, there are plenty of options at the marina.

Visited marina while in Brighton for a few days. Thought that Wetherspoons would be ideal for a snack lunch, well it was horrendous! No one on the door, customers roaming around trying to find tables, many tables covered in glasses and dirty plates and the Bar was full of undelivered drinks.We decided to go elsewhere!

Brighton marina the Wetherspoons allí era horrible. Fui al día con mi esposo, fui a 1 mesa de la calle y noté que no estaba limpia. Me senté un rato esperando que alguien viniera y lo limpiara sin tanta suerte. Tuvimos que mover los vasos por la mesa que habían usado los clientes anteriores. 3 mesas a nuestro alrededor todavía tenían platos sucios y sin clientes que se habían ido. Cuando la camarera quitó los platos, ni una sola vez limpió las mesas. Cuando mencioné mis preocupaciones, la joven me miró y asintió. We visited here on s beautiful day, for a quick bite to eat and a drink. The staff were not very friendly and the pub its self was very dirty, will not be going there again.

La comida era el estándar habitual de Wetherspoons, una buena relación calidad-precio. Sin embargo, los aspectos positivos terminan ahí. El lugar está sucio y las mesas no parecen limpiarse con tanta frecuencia como deberían en este clima actual. Además, después de haber usado dos veces el lugar durante nuestra estadía en Brighton, se rechazó un tercer intento porque "no permitimos perros en la cervecería al aire libre". La comida era Wetherspoons habitual pero la limpieza era inexistente. Conseguimos una mesa y pedimos a través de la aplicación y, mientras estábamos allí, 3 grupos de personas dejaron mesas diferentes; todo lo que el personal hizo fue limpiar los platos, no limpiar ni limpiar las mesas antes que los siguientes clientes. Envié un correo electrónico al servicio de atención al cliente de Wetherspoons para decirles y recibí una respuesta diciéndome que me quejara con el gerente de ese pub.

Lugar absolutamente repugnante. Nos estábamos quedando cerca, así que decidimos pasar a tomar una copa después de visitar un restaurante cercano. Era un martes por la noche y relativamente tranquilo, había muchas mesas libres afuera, pero todas tenían platos, bebidas y ceniceros llenos, donde las mesas no se habían limpiado durante bastante tiempo. Después de encontrar una mesa y tener que limpiarla nosotros mismos, tomamos un trago rápido, eché un vistazo al interior y la limpieza no era mejor allí. Luego nos fuimos rápidamente a otro lugar, pero caminamos de regreso más allá de una hora y media más tarde y notamos que las mesas aún no se habían limpiado con platos sucios por todas partes. La higiene de este pub sería inaceptable en tiempos normales, pero durante estos tiempos este lugar debería estar cerrado o emplear suficiente personal para limpiar el lugar. Vinimos al pub a almorzar. We have been coming to this place for years. The location is excellent and the prices are affordable. This visit was disappointing, the floors outside was strewn with litter. It was clearly not from just one day. No tables were wiped and no dishes were cleared.Hopefully a manager could take charge and build up the reputation.

Visited this location yesterday and first impression when looking at the outdoor seating was that it was filthy ! Cutlery, napkins, paper menus, sachets of Mayo etc were littered on empty tables and all over the floor. The floor outside is in desperate need of a good jet wash ! Inside was no better with tables left full of glasses etc, no social distancing was in evidence in the bar area or the toilets. Staff seem completely overwhelmed by the number of customers and can’t possibly keep up standards at these staffing levels. This used to be one of the better Wetherspoons, sadly it has gone down hill rapidly!

Came here for a trip as it was our wedding anniversary and Food was not up to standard at all and service was poor.Fish and chips - the fish was cold and drySteak and chips - steak was well over cooked the first time so ask for them to do it again and still wasn’t what I ask for. Won’t visit here again

Drinks were fine, and the door staff were helpful when dealing with the Covid rules. Saw them having to put up with some obnoxious customers, and they dealt with it far better than I would have, so fair play to them. Best way to describe this place is 'sticky'. Nothing feels very clean, and a vomit-splattered toilet didn't help. Presumably that wasn't the staff's fault, but it wasn't cleaned in the time I was in there. Gross. The sinks in the men's were also leaking water all over the floor. You find better toilets in public parks, and if that's the state of the amenities, what the hell's going on in the kitchen? Place feels like it needs stripping out, scrubbing down with wire wool, and starting again. Odd that it's in such a state, given the location, but maybe they just can't cope, given the size. 'Spoons are pretty joyless places at the best of times, but this one makes you want a good shower after leaving. Minging.

This Weatherspoon pub is open 8 am till about 11 pm serving food throughout. They had organised the tables for social distancing and there was sanitiser everywhere. Toilets were clean and tables had been socially distanced. We ate there several times and although there was a more limited menu than normal there was adequate choice. They offered eat in to help out which was excellent value Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. The pub outside seating area on ground floor and upstairs terrace has great views over the marina.

We visited West Quay the place is dirty the floor is littered with everything from sauce watchers to cutlery the staff are uninterested and obviously don't like their jobs, the drinks take ages and the food takes even longer we waited over an hour for our food.Social distancing is out of the window after having to fill in track and trace on entering a group of 16 arrived pushed tables and chairs together and when we mentioned public safety to the girl she just walked off no track n trace on that group. I would not recommend this place for cleanliness attitude or public safety.

An utter filthy and disgusting pub full of drunks drinking cheaply. Staff disinterested and not motivated. Nice location but so poorly run.

No attention to detail. Dirty tables, grubby glasses and staff unhelpful-let’s not even talk about the mens urinals! We brought a bottle of Prosecco-served warm with dirty glasses. We did not eat here so cannot comment on food.

Went there for breakfast. Ordering via app worked perfectly. Waiting time was moderate. Tables weren’t clean. Quite noisy place.

Absolutely disgusted at what we witnessed last night. My partner is a chef and I am a former employee of another Wetherspoons. I found it very disgusting how we had to clean our own table, when we ordered our food it was overdone and served us with dirty glasses. ( lipstick marks on it) and even had to wait 55 mins for a brownie when it wasn’t that busy. Another thing the staff wasn’t very nice and quite rude towards us because we asked Them to change our glass.

Overcrowded, no space in between tables,dirty tables, people milling around with no social distancing whatsoever. Not asked to wait for a table or and no track and trace. People packed in like sardines. Abysmal.Didnt order food, walked in and straight back out again. Why people go here is beyond me.

Avoid - I would suggest health and safety take a little trip to see the conditions of the toilets!! Just thank god I didn’t go in there with fashionable flip flops - urine soaked floors and it stank, broken toilet seats too!!! The bar was also sky high with filthy glasses that no one seemed to be doing anything with, drinks took forever to turn up and the tables were filthy!! Just awful!!

Visited as we were staying nearby and we thought you can’t go wrong with a spoons! Wrong... understaffed, tables weren’t cleaned after people had used them - not only germy with a pandemic but the seagulls were loving life! Ordered through the app; when the man turned up with our drinks, I asked for a jug of water as we couldn’t get it online, he brought one over but failed to understand that we needed a glass to be able to drink said water. People were freely moving furniture. Table numbers had rubbed off the tables and the staff didn’t know the numbers. Left promptly after as it was so gross!

Walked in the entrance and waited to be seated, to be told we had to seat ourselves, there was no clean tables anywhere, we sat and waited and no one came to remove the last groups dirty pots and clean the table, we had to ask. So dod all the surrounding tables. The toilets were absolutely filthy, when a 3 year old child tells you ‘these toilets are disgusting’ you know theres a problem. There is no social distancing and the que for the bar is terrible, people stood all over and nearly on top family’s who were eating. The only good thing was that the food was actually quite nice. Such a shame when the location is so beautiful. Covid measures certainly arnt in place here.

Ordered drinks using the app, priority clearly given to those at the bar. We waited over 30 minutes and the food arrived. Then told we had to wait for another 5 tickets in front of ours for the drinks, sat on a boiling hot day with no drink isn’t good enough. The tables were dirty, all those that were empty had dirty plates and drinks left on them, clearly exceptionally short staffed. We had to clear our own table before we sat down. And then ask twice for it to be wiped. The staff were trying but so short staffed they couldn’t do any better. 35 minutes later drinks finally arrived. Won’t return. Was terrible.

We ate here several times for breakfast, and the food was really nice. As it was a Monday to Wednesday, the food was half price, and it was therefore very cheap. The pub is in a lovely setting, right on the marina. On a nice day, it’s really nice to sit outside, and enjoy the view. However, the tables were very dirty and clearly hadn’t been cleaned from the night before even though we arrived first thing in the morning. You would think that the staff would have done this before the pub even opened. The floors outside also absolutely filthy and random things like cutlery trays and tiles just dropped on the floor were just left there by staff. I’m not 100% convinced that this venue is COVID safe. To get to the toilet, you have to pass a queue of people at the bar as well. I would definitely recommend downloading the app, it’s really easy to use, and very fast.

Sit where you like, no tables were cleaned, not one person wore a mask inside or outside the building.I couldn't see any cleaning/ sanitation products. I was very shocked at the lack of thought at this difficult time. Track and trace, was is that?? Shameful. Food was good but is it really worth it??

Went there for afternoon drinks this weekend. Covid controls were a bit poor we had to ask for the table to be cleaned no track and trace obvious in the place. Nobody there to advise on entry. Had Food, that was ok quality, what you expect from Wetherspoons. beer nice and cheap as always. Due to the lack of cleaning probably wouldn’t go out of my way to go again

We eat in various wetherspoons pretty regularly and as ever, the food is reliably good. I had the veggie curry which was nice. Service was fine. However, we made the trip out to the marina spoons thinking it would be really pretty. Don't be fooled - Brighton marina is a grim concrete nightmare and a hub of antisocial behaviour. It was mainly drunk youths / dodgy old men frequenting the pub when we were there. The Marina surroundings isn't that impressive or pretty, just a few boats and a Nando's. Very windy out the back, uncomfortably crowded inside. If you're coming for the food, stick to one of the city centre ones, at least they aren't difficult to travel to (we came by bike and it took ages to find the West Quay)

We had a really good vegan pizza here It's really hard to get one in and around Brighton that doesn't put the fake cheese on top Which myself and my husband don't like .It's great to get a pizza with just the roasted veg So west quay at the marina has got this right.Only disappointing thing is they no longer do the mushroom Benedict ☹️

Very nice Wetherspoons pub overlooking the marina. A good place to relax with a drink and enjoy the view

Good bar staff, cutlery could do with being cleaner, however this gets a solid 5 stars for the Naga chilli chicken vindaloo, £9.50 with a decent pint........I can almost excuse Tim Martin’s political views when the curry is that good (almost, but not quite!!)🙂🙂

A modern Wetherspoons in the quays.Deceptively long walk from Brighton centre. Much better to get the bus.Very busy, we sat on the second floor. We ordered breakfast. It was served promptly, was well cooked and great value for money.Friendly staff, efficient and proffesional.Well worth a visit

Popped in with a friend who had scampi and I had the regular fish, chips and peas. Very busy as half term but when food came ( which wasn’t too long) it was very well presented, hot and absolutely delicious- the best Fish and Chips I’ve ever had at a Wetherspoons.

Usual Wetherspoon pub brilliantly situated, eaten and drank there many times and loved it, last night was a foul night weatherise but as usual food and drink was spot on, only set back was a male member-of staff smoking and spitting in the entrance doorway that’s why I thought long and hard before submitting this review

We called in and managed to squeeze on a table with two others. As it was Burns night, we had Haggis, neeps and tatties along with a drink. For four of us the bill was under £36, which was good going. The meal was really quite good and washed down with a pint of Doombar made it better. Service was good although the tables lacked a bit of elbow grease in the cleaning department. Would come again.

We love it here. Great food at very reasonable prices. Alfie was lovely, what a nice guy. He had a real nice smile and was happy to help. Cutlery could do with a good clean but hey it's all part of the experience at Witherspoon's.

Just had meal here. 3 couples, allordering separately. Food came ages apart despite ordering at the same time. I ordered 2nd but our two meals arrived a good 10 mins after everyone elses. My risotto was clearly microwaved to heat, was dry and clumpy. Driest garlic bread ever. Not good!!

We were a group of 14 wanting to sit together, we were able to that in a nice part of pub overlooking marina, we all ordered lunch on our apps, drinks and food arrived very quickly, really good food, great value for money, it was very busy but the service was quick and efficient.

Well, it's Wetherspoons, so some features are common to all their establishments. Great selection of real ales, inexpensive wine on draught. Menu seems to have shrunk; maybe that's because economic reality has crept into Mr Martin's thinking (Brexit, of which he is a prime mover?) Confess to being disappointed in my choice of nachos and garlic bread. Nachos very short on cheese and garlic bread just tasted like flatbread. Staff, as usual, very active and friendly. Our party was eight, including two infants and seating was less than comfortable - some of the furniture looking more than a little threadbare.

Most Weatherspoons are hit and miss to be honest, and we all agreed this one was a hit! Found a good table upstairs, ordered on the app, and within 15 mins our drinks and meals had arrived. The burgers were fresh and tasty with crisp salad and fluffy chips, my daughters pasta was full of flavour, staff were pleasant too. For the price we would definitely go back.

The girls working were rude, lazy and miserable. I highly suggest a manager gives them a crash course in customer service. Our food looked sad to say the least. They forgot to bring the salad out and when they did it was limp and there was no apology. Dry chicken, it would bounce if you dropped it, floppy ham, burnt halloumi, amazingly cooked eggs and nice chips. Please somebody teach these workers how to give service!!!!!!!!!!!

Another good Friday lunch at the West Quay. It was very busy when we visited but we managed to find a table and there was no real wait for drinks of food. I had the chicken and avocado salad and the others scampi. Both were very tasty and plentiful.

The West Quay is an excellent building housing a Wetherspoon's at Brighton Marina. It has a prominent location on the boardwalk with views towards plenty of moored boats.

Posiblemente el único lugar auténtico normal en Brighton Marina, todos los demás son cafés comunes como Nandos, Five Guys. Puede ordenar y pagar en línea a través de la aplicación Weatherspoon, ¡tan cómodo y funciona! Tiene dos pisos con una buena vista a la bahía. Bar muy espacioso. Sin embargo, el cristal de la ventana no estaba limpio. El baño está muy ordenado!

We stopped here for some drinks but did not eat. Staff very friendly and efficient. Everywhere was very messy and outside was filthy

We didn't eat so cannot comment on the food. The place was cleanish on the inside, but a real mess outside. The staff we came across we all very nice.

Aparecí para un desayuno rápido un sábado, terminé pasando más de una hora aquí. Pedimos y supusimos que, como un Wetherspoons normal, no tendríamos que esperar mucho más de 15 minutos, 30 minutos después fuimos a revisar nuestra comida, luego se nos informó que la espera para la comida era de más de 30 minutos. 5 minutos después llegó la comida. Habíamos pedido una envoltura de desayuno y un huevo Benedict. La envoltura era buena, pero los huevos Benedict estaban fríos y las yemas estaban duras como una roca. Lo devolví pidiendo uno nuevo, tuve que esperar otros 15 minutos. Pidió un reembolso que fue otorgado pero que seguramente nunca volverá.

Excellent food. Ordered every via the app. However on arrival it looked like no one was collecting glasses, tables very dirty aaand we had to move lots

Went with four friends, all ordered meals, 3 came out 1 didnt show until we asked... they said it had been put through the till as a different meal, which didnt explain why any meal didnt come out.... then ordered dessert and exactly the same thing happened again! I then explained to the person who went round ID’ing people (4th time to have the whole group ID’d - communication wouldnt go a miss) how they got our meals and dessert wrong and his attitude was terrible.

This was a friends get together. We routinely change location and todays choice was the West Quay. The beer is always cheap and good quality with a continuously changing range to choose from.
