It was shut when it said it was open

The place is closed. I asked someone who lived close by and they told me it has been closed for the past 2 years.

Not open 24/7at all, complete lie

Honestly I can't describe it to u all, one of the best Persian food in town. The new owners they know what they doing, just try it once then you are going to be a customer.

Ordered thro uber, took my money,kept giving me an eta... 4hours later said it had been delivered..it had NOT money gone from bank, have since found out market diner, temporarily closed, having nk joy with uber on a refund, why was order accepted if closed, WHO HAS MY MONEY !!!

Food still hasn't turned up but it says delivered and no one picks up the phone when you call. You get a message to say "This mailbox can't accept anymore messages"

They just never turned up with out food, we tried to call and nobody picked up. The voicemail said they weren't available. Waste of time

I ordered from here and it was due 45 minutes ago, been fully charged, was not able to get in contact with the restaurant as it kept on going to voicemail and now out of nearly £50 with no food in sight and can’t even get in contact with Just Eat to dispute the order.

A sad shadow of what it once was. Food is all of the cheapest quality and service was unfriendly even though it was a quiet Monday night. Just go home & order a takeaway (from somewhere else) if you don't want to spoil your evening. Two stars simply because it's always open.

Awesome Legendary Brighton Cafè A place I recommend to visit, sponsor and adore. The service and food is very satisfactory. Always a warm friendly place to be. Nice to chill, eat and watch telly.

Around 2:00am we adventure over to marker diner as it was a must after a few drinks. When going in we had to order at their modern touch screen that is function by an elderly ai because when you press anything it takes 10 second to know what you are pressing. After ordering a gut buster, mayonnaise, brown sauce and tea. We sat down and waited about 15 mins till our food arrived. But the waiter and waitress forgot our sauce and tea, which you can't miss out if you want a complete wholesome night. So I had to point this out. The waiter then surprisingly gave me this emotionless stare and walked off without saying anything. I was surprise, but somehow approve this kind of behaviour as market diner has always been a very odd and quirky atmosphere. When they gave the tea, they forgot the sauce. So I asked again you forgot the sauce. This time they gave me the cold stare that could make you question if this sauce worth it. But without this sauce my gut buster would have been bland, so I carried on. After giving the sauce they somehow didnt complete the process of giving me all the sauce I wanted as I only had the mayonnaise and no brown sauce. However, after seeing the stress and sweat they were in, I decided to let go of the brown sauce - shame. They were really quick but their service in responding to your issue was unfortunately predictable. But serving at 2am made me respect their hard work and dedication. The only issue I felt lost is the painting on the walls. Which I use to love coming and admire their pictures. But due to the update of the place, it felt a bit nippy and lost. Overall, this was the service I expected and by far the best gut buster I ever had, will come again for sure and hopefully one day the brown sauce will come.

I ordered through the companies website and the order was refused by the restaurant for an unknown reason but debited my food bill, it said to call the store to find out more info. I called the store and was advised a refund will arrive in 1 hour, no re-fund and no money to re-order. No dinner for tonight. Thanks Underneath is a reply from the restaurant, no apology for the time 30 minutes to one hour stated refund time by your staff member over the phone. If its not 30 minutes to one hour, don’t lie to customers, don’t tell me 30 minutes to one hour for a refund if it’s not going to be there in that time, and additionally refuse to answer the phone after the hour time slot. Customer service skills count for a lot. If it was the other way around, and I asked you deliver my food and ill pay you in 30 minutes to an hours time, you would refuse to accept orders from me.

Great little diner which is open all hours. Perfect if you want a nice greasy fry-up - they offer so many options so there’s something for everyone!

I’m really annoyed that I’ve spent £17 here. Food is terrible quality, nothing like the pictures they have on their unresponsive order point. The beef enchilada was a wrap folded in half, filled with Felix cat food and grated cheese on top. Nothing positive to say. Even if you’re drunk, there are better bins to eat from on the Seafront.

AVOID AVOID AVOID. If there was a zero that’s what they would get. Tried to steal money. Didn’t deliver food. Lied about it’s delivery. Took 2 hours before they just decided to try and steal my money rather than cancelling the order. Absolute sharks. Avoid avoid avoid.

Ordered via Deliveroo. Order got accepted and said it was being prepared. However never finalised and they never answered their phones after waiting 40 mins for an order that’s never being delivered.

Reasonably priced and quality food. Went for breakfast in the day. Food was fine, served hot and in a reasonable time. The electronic ordering was a bit frustrating when there we were the only customers (just opened), but the owner spoke us through it.

If you are drunk, you don't care. But soba This place has gone downhill, no customer service, female staff with hair down no hair net wearing long nails dulled up with makeup big hooped earing, the site looks like a health hazard. From the outside looks inviting, but when inside, it's a shambles. I would not recommend unless you want a few days of sick with an illness

I see you changed your name on uber eats to wham bam burrito, probably because your terrible diner has such a bad reputation. That bad reputation is fully earned. Having just ordered from wam bam burrito I can say was the worst and overpriced burrito I have ever had. As well as this, after allowing me to choose 7 toppings the burrito arrived with only 2 of the toppings. This place is a scam to trick people ordering late night food. Please avoid

I have no memory of ordering this food. That’s slightly worrying. Nevertheless, there it was on my doorstep, stone cold. The order was made at 04.25 am. I was asleep at that time. It’s a mystery.

Ordered off deliveroo waited over an hour for the food that never arrived as they use there own drivers. Then charged for it. Neither deliveroo or the restaurant will give a refund don't bother with them.

Brought a build your own breakfast, arrived over 1 hour late. Didn't have any cheese or BREAD with the order so found it impossible to build my own sandwich!!! Also all items Stone cold. Called the restaurant to be told they were too busy call Uber for a refund. If your too busy don't accept an order you cannot fulfil. Awful customer service and inedible food.

Order 2 burgers from here. They tasted off and drowned in oil. Id say avoid it if you can.

I placed two orders today, one around half past four and one around five. After being told that the food would be delivered in half an hour, it took four hours for me to receive any food. When the food arrived it was cold and severely underwhelming and most of it ended up in the bin as the restaurant refused to take it back. In addition to this, I only received half of my order and never received the other half even though I was charged. This is completely unacceptable. I contacted the restaurant at least 10 times over the four hour wait and they informed me that I would just have to be patient. The person I spoke to on the phone was very sarcastic, rude, patronising, unhelpful and quite frankly, incompetent. I am immensely disappointed and I can confirm that this is the worst customer service I have ever received in my life. If that was your goal then, Market Diner, you have certainly achieved that.

Said driver left at 10.50 and arrived at 11.25. Food stone cold, chips inedible, onion rings stuck together in one lump, corn was burnt and tasteless. The burger was on par with McDonald’s which for the £5 delivery charge I could have walked 5 mins around the corner and bought a whole meal for.

Cheap and delicious greasy breakfast! I got the gut buster but I wish it were like 10% less greasy though. 😅

Still a great late-night destination. Recent modernisation has improved efficiency but lost a little character from the place though.

Clean, good food and nice staff. Food could have been a little bit hotter and the price could have been rounded down by 1 or 2 £ but overall wouldn't really fault it all that much and it was still really nice

Food never arrived and restaurant didn’t even attempt to call after over 30 minutes of being late, serval attempts were made to contact the restaurant and was hung up on either by the automated system or a person on their end, contacted the customer service via their website and was spoken to rudely by one of their staff members.

I’ve never been so disrespected by staff in my life ! They were so rude and nasty and literally made my friend cry. We will never ever eat here again ! I’m disgusted by how we were treated , disgusted ! I am also allergic to dairy and my friend asked to double check and they literally yelled at her for asking ! It was a horrrifjc experience and we shall never even be anywhere near here again !

Really disgusting, strange smell & consistency to the “chicken” items. Have ordered from here before and was not as bad as this pile of c**p. Basically £35.50 straight in the bin. Expensive disappointment.

A truly brilliant weekend breakfast treat.

Firstly, the guy who owns this place is very strange to say the least. Not only does he not smile or say hello to his customers, he looks at you as you shouldn't be in there, very odd energy. SO, the staff follow suit like the lambs some humans are. As for the over-priced...hidious food, small portions. You only have to see the responses to his customers reviews on "just eat". Says it all. Soggy, slopped together food from someone who doesn't deserve your custom. This place used to be a favourtie of mine when I was much younger...

Over-priced and of poor quality. Hardy any beans, the fired slice was dripping with fat, yes it is fried, but doesn't need to be oozing with fat. Watery mushrooms and you pa £5 for delivery. I am fed up of the high priced, bad quality food that is offered from most take-outs

Was charged twice then refused a refund. Unacceptably treated by the staff considering they had already charged us twice. Used to love coming here but I would not go back now.

Went there for Friday Lunch. Nobody at all in there. Alarm bells should have rang considering there are about 300 construction workers within 200 yards. Why 1 star? 1. The tea bag was put in with the milk. Therefore can not get strong. 2. Nearly £10 for sausage, egg and chips and tea??? £2 too dear. 3. The table was actually wiped over with grease. You could write your name in the grease. 4. The chair had a wonky leg - had to swap it. 5. Nearly 30 minute wait - as said I was the ONLY patron. 6. Egg was rubbery. 7. Sausage was tasteless. 8. Chips were underdone by about a minute. They even looked too pale. 9. I say chips - cheap frozen, processed French fries. Truly awful. 10. The age old trick of putting cheap, Aldi ketchup in Heinz bottles. Truly disgusting. The lady who took my order was friendly enough. But the food, cleanliness and service was truly revolting. You would think not a lot can go wrong with egg, sausage and chips when there is nobody else there. How wrong was I. Shall never return.

Top place for a coffee if on a brake from street drinking in Brighton and Hove. Cool prices nice staff. Can't go wrong. Nice location away from the main area in central Brighton . but Not a million miles away from top shops that sell cider and other real top class real drinks. Ie - easy hours for 24 hours drinking or boss co for the fastest service in the day. All within a stones throw of Brighton beach. A must for visitors and brigtonions. Not so good to score now. as has become a posh area. But only a a few minutes walk from the level if in need.

Very reasonably priced Nice tables compared with 35 yrs ago but atmosphere was great then. Wouldn't know this time as we were the only ones there, but situated so close to so much accommodation would imagine that it gets very busy

Food is quite expensive for what it is. Also the delivery driver phoned from his car, presumably because he didn't want to walk down the stairs to our door. He was quite rude & said "well done" when he gave me the food. When paying £5 for delivery, walking down a few stairs and actually delivering it isn't a big ask.

Absolutely terrible experience. They forgot one of the main parts of our order, an egg burger. When I called up to ask why, the lady on the other end of the phone first insisted she had packed it. When I told her it definitely wasn't in the order, she started laughing and said she had messed up the order. So not only did I have to pay £5 for delivery fee, one of us missed out on our meal entirely. To add on that, the breakfast was horrible. Tasted bland and looked like dog food. Chips and curry sauce were ok. Hot chocolates were literally milkshakes they were so cold. Definite pass and hire a new receptionist!

What an absolute life saver of an eatery, the area around has been done up bang-tidy like. So, it makes for a nice visit too. Although it does look kinda out of place, nevertheless great food at great prices.

Ultimate Burger has to be the best take away burger ever. Just like home barbecue. Proper chunky chips, not like thin fries that are more fat than potatoes. Decent fresh salad. I am sticking with Market Diner for take away, and they are open so late, fitting around my late nights. They are top notch, forget about cheap Kebab Houses, I suggest you go with Market Dinner for quality food. Thanks guys

WOWWW!! Brilliant!! I ordered my breakfast at 3am and it arrived swiftly, it was nice and warm and tasted amazing! The chicken salad is for lunch today and it looks lovely! I will def be ordering again. The cost is a bit higher, but to get that service and delivery at 3am, is worth it! :)
