Woburn Sands Emporium in Milton Keynes

It was nice but sadly the cakes that we got were not part of the deal and we had to pay extra. Even though they diddont tell us what was part of the deal, the food was good though. But the portions where small. THE PLANTS ARE AMAZING!!!

We had been told that the Emporium had a new chef, and we were keen to stop off and try the lunch menu. We were served by a very polite young lady called Zoe, who explained the menu. I opted for the cheeseburger, which can be very hit or miss depending on the quality of the meat. My wife ordered a tuna toastie. After a relatively short wait, the food arrived, and again a polite young lad called Jake asked if we needed any sauces or condiments. I must say, both people who served us were energetic, polite, and attentive. The food was excellent, and the meat in the cheeseburger was of great quality and very tasty, as was the tuna toastie. All in all, it was a great experience—very well priced, with excellent service. We will certainly be back again."

The food and staff were lovely. The atmosphere is relaxing and lots of seating. All tablets were clean. I had the cheese scone and it was lovely

Love the fact that you are seated and served at your table, this was done immediately. We ordered toasted tea cakes a latte and an Americano and were asked if we had any allergies 👍🏻. From being seated to having our food and drinks took less than 15 minutes which I think was really good considering the restaurant was busy. Our food was lovely and the staff were very friendly. We enjoyed our visit and will definitely be back.

I frequent the store the works inside the garden centre often and am often served by a young girl, I believe her name is Georgie. She always helps me find what I need and has a lovely conversation with me often. I used to visit with my husband but after he passed 4 months ago, Georgie always has a conversation with me. It is clear that she knows her customers well, she noticed after a week or two that my husband wasn’t with me and asked if everything was okay. This store feels as though it’s family run, I am very glad to have such a lovely staff so close to me.

The garden centre has such beautiful flowers, everything you need for your garden, an excellent The Works section, a lovely selection of items you can get as gifts or for your house, kids items and even an aquatic centre where we buy our pet fish. We often have lunch here too which is always fresh and delicious. I would also like to specifically mention Vicky who is so wonderful, she is very knowledgeable in all things related to plants and gardens and has helped us out on a number of occasions with our questions.

Lovely staff who were very accommodating for my Autistic children. Great, quick service, the food and coffee was delicious too.

Sat waiting for table service which was very slow and when coffee did arrive it was luke warm and not very hot. We did return them and had them replaced. Not overly impressed.

Not a great place. Expect to wait for up to 10 minutes for your order to be taken, longer if it's busy. Order arrived, missing a tea cake. Coffee came with no milk. Fruit? scone was so dry I had 4 butter pats and still could t eat if all. Oh and my wife's coffeecame cold.

Shocking! What a diddy breakfast for the amount I paid £8.50 I was expecting a bit more than that. Not even a tablespoon of beans, one slice of fatty bacon, over cooked egg, half a small tomato. Won’t be returning And to top it all you have to pay at the table with your order before your food arrives

Long time since we have been in this centre (previously it was Wyvale) so having been to the excellent centre across the road, we decided as it was so busy, we would see what the Emporium was like. Generally it was clearly a poor relation when compaired to where we had been, but feeling hungry by now, we headed to their restaurant. The wait for attention was quick and we were taken to one of the many empty tables. Polite staff was a big plus however, the barn of a place was anything but welcoming. Decor basically non existent and nothing about the place gave off a good vibe. Service was quick and we ordered Sausage roll, beans and chips with tea, all of which was with us pretty quick. Again, staff efficient and the quality of the food was excellent. Not sure if the change of ownership will be addressing the layout, fixture and fittings at the restaurant, but frankly, it does nothing to entice customers in. First

First visit as a family meet up. Soft play was good, however disappointed by the poor service and food. Waited for 40 minutes for our lunch. Bread was soggy, minimal filling, ordered ciabattas however were given bread rolls. Kids meals arrived first, so by the time our meal arrived 40 mins later they’d finished. One drink didn’t arrive till the end. Staff were not particularly friendly either! Very overpriced for quality and service. Would not visit again.

Popped in for breakfast this morning. It was wonderfully cooked and presented nicely. The staff were very friendly and efficient. HOWEVER, one thing, in my opinion, is the restaurant needs a revamp. It’s looking tired, and the roof leaks. The chairs, tables and flooring needs replacing. This would help make a more enhanced atmosphere. The restaurant is clean, but needs a lot of TLC now.

Lunch was excellent! We ordered panini’s and toasted sandwiches, drinks and chips. There was a small wait because the food was prepared freshly. The fillings were generous, the chips hot and crispy, and the drinks - including a milk shake - were delicious. We noticed that they sold ice creams, with a big range of flavours. Next time, we’ll leave room for a cooling dessert! As always, staff were very attentive and polite. The restaurant is very clean. Thank you

Met my daughter and grandchildren here so they could play in the sand area for two hours They had a great time We found staff very helpful and coffees very good.. A mean bacon roll also on offer So a success for us 🏖️

Comfortable facilities with friendly staff. Service was confused with no apparent system to ensure customers were served by arrival time. This led to very slow service with later arrivals being served ahead of people waiting. Food was decent and reasonable value for money.

Went today for Sunday lunch we both ordered the chicken supreme which instead of chicken breast turned out to be a chicken thigh, the broccoli was warm but certainly not cooked , still hard .stuffing dry and floury . Very disappointing. I mentioned it to the manager when we left , no one came round to see if all was OK while we were eating . She apologised and said it was breast meat with the bone in ! Also they would have taken it away and cooked the veg some more but would let the chef know ! We then went to buy a plant but unfortunately when I queried some white covering on the leaves it was taken away to Check what it was and it turned out to be rust and not to be sold . Such a shame . One very good point was the excellent salesman dealing with the conservatory furniture. He was extremely helpful.

Visited today for lunch - the staff were pleasant and quicker than usual but I’d expect a lot better presentation for an £8 sandwich!! Two rectangles with ham and cheese.

The customer service and cleanliness is not great. We were given a table which was absolutely filthy. I asked a waitress to clean the table and her tone was awful and she asked me twice if I had entered the restaurant and taken the table without asking (which was not the case). Another waitress came to clean the table and left it wet..I then had to ask again! The floor was dirty, menus filthy and the number holder was greasy. Very disappointing experience!

Waited to be seated then after 10 minutes we had to ask 2 members of staff for someone to take our order as everyone else was having their order taken,and another couple walked out because the staff were just talking to each other

Went here today to see the animal experience with my daughter and wanted to stay for a drink and cake. Took ages to seat us, everything is still table service (a remnant of covid I feel) which just seems so backward and not efficient for staff. Wait to be seated, wait to be served. We waited and I flagged someone down to order. Told we were next, waited 15 odd minutes (only wanted a drink and cake which would of taken us a few minutes to self serve if it was set up like pre covid) and no one came. Other members of the public served before us. Ended up leaving without eating. Have been here numerous times pre covid no issues but this was ridiculous. Staff seem to be running in circles not getting anywhere. Please return to self service. Clearly not efficient way of working now restrictions are over.

Lovely little garden centre with small soft play for younger kids and fish for the kids to feed. But the cafe staff are awful, very rude and unhelpful. Make you feel very unwelcome and unwanted there. Very bad attitudes, I’ve been 5 plus times and they’ve been the same. Slow service, wouldn’t visit if you want a quick relaxed lunch. Good for kids but don’t expect a friendly welcome 🤣

The restaurant is usually fantastic when I’ve visited before but not today! Waited to long to be served and staff surly ☹️

1 hour to be served. just soup and a roll. plenty of waitresses but none looks at you if you need anything. slowest service ever. if they have shortage staff they should at least warn you. pub next door might be better

Just a quick late lunch on a sunny saturday afternoon but oh dear what a disappointment! We had to pay when we ordered so simple, cold drink and sandwich, and then could we have cream tea after? Cream tea came first and when i asked for the tea to come after main course, i was glared at by staff…. They were talking, whispering, pointing from behind serving area….. horrible experience…. Well run and hot food cooked to order very good indeed as this is pretty unusual in Garden centres......usually food is cold by the time you put it on your tray,than queue up then pay for it and find a table......that's the usual set up!...
