Visiting the area, popped in for a refreshing beer or two. Great garden area, good sports coverage and excellent beer. Only 4*for service as there was only 1 staff member on, on a busy Sunday afternoon. Not her fault though. Lovely lovely.

Didn't eat there but had a birthday do and they were brilliant

Was closed to be done up, The only change was new tables and chairs inside. The wallpaper is coming off the walls. The floor still had the same old carpet and looks very run down inside.

Bit soul less bar maid in her coat set the scene. Not cosy. Bit simple bland hard rocky squeaky chairs not welcoming not warm. On service beer drink spilt as mats not functional on bar. Very basic worn no atmosphere.

Really nice pub and a super value lunch menu. Small criticism would be the pub dog running around and after attention where, I'm afraid, is not really welcome.

Hi i am the manager of the new fox and hounds. this is an old trip advisor so i cannot gain access to answer your 3 bad reviews so ill leave my answer in a review. I'm very sorry you all had a bad experience on the first busy day. This is a non profit deal we are offering OAP's all food 5 pounds and bottomless tea and coffees. We went from being very quiet, 4 to 6 people to all of a sudden every room packed out. I think we did 150 meals that day. We were massively understaffed for this and most certainly wasn't ready for such numbers. From that admittedly disasterous first busy day we made some tweaks to the impossible to pull off with those numbers menu, pulled in more staff and since we have had a brilliant run.

My friends and I had a lovely dinner today with unlimited tea and coffee for £5 great value for money and lovely staff 😊

social media post that no one was going to the lunch club, so we went today as no one had been going - never seen any advertising. Sadly so did a lot of people and it was chaos. Not thought through, poorly organised and shambolic. Ordered some food and 55 minutes later still waiting and then food for the table of 6 behind us comes out. They had only been there 15 mins, We left and definitely will never come back, as i suspect a number of others who came in and left will not and those who were waiting having ordered, to be told there was no more food so they wouldnt be getting any. Whilst £5 quid for lunch and bottomless tea and coffee sounds great, organisation is non-existent, so i think if they have more than one person in they are overwhelmed.

Absolutely appalling service. Waited 5+ minutes to get served, and when i was served by a girl with red hair she was rude, because i interrupted her flirting with a group of boys. There was a child who couldnt be much older than 12 behind the bar which is terrible. The whole venue smells of toilets, the place has been run down terribly. Will be sticking to the Crown and the George.

Didn't serve food, but the landlord sent us to where we could find food. Visited for the comedy night they held there once a month, which was really good.

Went to see a band called Zero City a good night. The only thing the rear car park is hard to find if you have ever been there before.

Fantastic night of live music - top quality performers (I have to claim a vested interest here as I was one of them!). The pub have really invested in live music - great little stage and sound system - fantastic sound man and discounted drinks too !! Bar staff amazing - never seen bar staff dancing during a sound check - they were awesome. Support the Fox and Hounds to allow them to continue to support local live and top quality original music.

Great service and very accommodating. Even put food on for us that wasn't on the menu for my birthday dinner. Staff are all great and very helpful. Really greatful to Shaun and his team for a lovely birthday lunch.

The Fox & Hounds is a very cool place to hang out and ENJOY LIFE! Great food! Great Ales! Great Service with kind helpful servers! A visit to Stony Stratford isn't complete without a roast from the Fox & Hounds!! Shawn is creating lots of Magic and GREAT Music in Milton Keynes!

Busy place. Live entertainment and a mainly younger crowd in the main bar. Friendly staff. Places to sit.

Good local bar with a selection of nicely pub grub which is good value, there is a large beer garden at the rear which is nice in summer. They have live music several nights a week and quiz nights too. Now under new management but still a good local with friendly staff. I haven't tried the food yet.

Very disappointing visit to the Fox and Hounds. The landlord could benefit from understanding that it’s not the message, but it’s the way it’s delivered. Won’t be going back while he’s in charge. He probably doesn’t care anyway!

Great traditional local pub on the High Street, there is free parking available but is time limited to 1 hour. In the evening, the time limit is relaxed. The staff are always super nice, the prices are pretty reasonable and a decent choice of beers and other cold snacks. There is an outside seating area with open fire. In the bars there's screens for sport and an area for games.

Good place for a few drinks and always a good atmosphere when there's sport on.

Visited The fox and hounds with a few mates to watch the football. Upon entry, I felt an instant judgement passed upon us as we were ID’d instantly and looked at very suspiciously. The atmosphere was extremely hostile and could not stay there. We were also searched which says enough.

Dog friendly!! We love this neighborhood spot for the beer, friendly faces, and as a great spot for our little guy Trevor to get lots of pets and attention.

A new landlady has recently taken over the pub after it had temporary landlords for a few years, a couple of which were horrid. However, it is back to its best again. The staff are incredibly friendly and really quick to serve you at your table. I recently watched a Euro 2020 game there and it was well set up to cope with restrictions. Even though it was busy and all tables were full I found myself getting served immediately whenever I’d finished a drink! Hopefully this new atmosphere around the pub is here to stay.

Was very warmly greeted by a gentleman who pointed us in the right direction of the pub garden, not terribly keen on the tables (due to practicality with a 5 year old) but they do have a nice rustic look so my rating isn’t based on this, We ordered the Halloumi, the Philly cheese steak and the child’s pizza, the Philly cheese steak sandwich was probably the nicest but it still wasn’t fantastic and my son only had 1 slice of his pizza as he really didn’t like it (I have attached a photo). I would 100% recommend going for a drink and a sit in the sun (I think if you’re a smoker you could make great use of their garden and seating area), but I wouldn’t eat there again anytime soon,

Great lunch , it was a bit quite for a Monday , then we are in a mad mad world. Whole place was very clean and staff very friendly. I had a steak , red onion & cheese sandwich with chips, only just managed to finish it, plenty of food

Lovely little pub, great beers and food. Plenty of seating, parking around the back and not so at the front. Watch sky sports or by sport. Clean toilets and staff are friendly.

I went for the Friday night live band music. Usually very good local bands -and it was again tonight. Not so crowded as usual and easier to move around, get a fine pint and enjoy the evening from 2100. Food is also available in the other side of the pub and from the menu it looks pretty good and at reasonable prices.

Local boozer which smelt like a boozer should, this is meany in a good way!! Busy hosting footie on the telly but that was opposite side. The ale was good and gin was cheap. Liked the look of the pub menu as well as it full of traditional pub grub and potion sizes looked huge. Loved it.

Great pub which ticks a lot of boxes for a good drinking experience. There's regular live music every week performed on the stage in one of the two bars. Lots of seating outside including covered areas and a fireplace too. One of the bars also has a few TV's for showing the sports and the staff were polite and helpful.

Good range of choice on the menu, tasty food, clean facilities and friendly service for a group of hungry morris dancers at the Stony Stratford lights festival last weekend.

Great atmosphere, mtiple bar rooms, friendly staff. Always packed when I go though as very popular. It's Stony's answer to the Prancing Pony, but I didn't see any hobbits or shady rangers!!

We went to see old friends in a band. The room was small & packed but good. Toilets were good
