I am writing to express some concerns regarding the service and treatment of delivery drivers at your McDonald's establishment in Bognor Regis. During my visits to your restaurant as a delivery driver, I've noticed instances where there were delays in preparing orders for delivery, and it seemed that some of the delivery drivers were not being treated with the level of respect they deserve. It appears that there may be instances of staff members engaging in conversations and taking longer than necessary to pack orders, leading to prolonged waiting times for delivery drivers. Understanding that delivery drivers are compensated based on completing orders and often face additional expenses such as insurance payments while waiting for orders, I believe it's important to ensure that their time is respected and valued. I've heard from some drivers that they feel frustrated by the extended wait times and the lack of acknowledgment of their time and effort. I believe that creating a positive and respectful environment for all individuals, including delivery drivers, is essential for the smooth operation of your establishment. I kindly request that you consider reviewing the staffing levels in the home delivery section to ensure that orders can be prepared efficiently and delivered promptly. Additionally, fostering a culture of respect and appreciation for all individuals, regardless of their role, would greatly contribute to the overall experience at your restaurant. All the other drivers who share these concerns are also encouraged to express their agreement by signing this letter. We are prepared to escalate this matter to the media if significant improvements are not seen in this establishment very soon.

Always very good service, inside and drive thru. Fantastic friendly staff.

I went for breakfast through the drive through, a lot of times lately they have given me something different from what I ordered. Staff are friendly. When I have eaten in, the staff are stood round doing nothing, and the place looks a mess.

Ordered for delivery to table. Waitress was very polite and asked if I needed anything more. Very clean inside and our clean table was cleaned again before we sat. Toilets also great. Thank you McDonalds.

Edit: tried again this morning at 5:30am. Closed Again, not even a note on the door with an explanation for why they were shut. False advertising. Claims to be 24 hours, but I went there after ordering on the McDonald's App for breakfast at 5am (as I start work at 5:30am, and they were closed, with parking cones blocking the entrance to both the car park and drive through, looked like all the lights were off too... Had to cancel my order. They shouldn't have 24 hours if they're not open for 24 hours.

Got a happy meal for the little one for his lunch and my dad a cup of coffee to be more precise cappuccino to take away was given flat white and only half a cup. When you order a coffee you don't expect this

Awful branch. Order ready in screen but bad attitude manager saying wait for it to be called. What is the point in an order collect screen if it’s not ready. Frightening slow for ‘fast food’. Crammed into very small waiting area with lots of frustrated customers.

Food was a little late but not so late that I was concerned. Updates were given relatively regularly

Slow service, badly coordinated ready to collect board (it took 10 minutes for the order to come out after saying it was ready to collect). Often get the order wrong. Not a good McDonalds at the moment, nor for the past few years.

In the past, if you wanted your order to be wrong you went to bognor KFC, but now McDonalds has stooped so low they are forgetting parts of my order such as fries, added bacon, And to add to that i got given a flat fanta

The drive thru is a joke. Either you get cold rubbish or you sit in the carpark waiting for them to bring out the most simple order on the planet. Need to get their act together

Ordered on drive through, wrong order at the paying window. Had to reorder again, opened the food and yep was still wrong. Gave up ,couldn't be bothered to go back. Oddly enough the guy serving was wearing a badge that said " Trainer" god help them, more like trainee.

Service slow and food is cold. When your number shows as ready to collect it would be helpful if it was actually ready!!!

Constantly fail to get the order right with items missing, to the point it maybe intentional. Extremely long wait whilst for poor service which makes people choose to avoid. With better management it could be SO much better and would make a lot more money for McDonald's.

Just another McDonald's, got a bit fed up of listening to some worker discussing what inheritance she's getting sounded like she was screwing her brother out of his share not really what I wanted to hear whilst eating my meal

A stand out McDonald's. Excellent service from Daniel. Super clean inside and out. Last visit to a McDonald's was 3 years ago to Clacket Lane on M25 which was truly horrific, they could learn a lot from the Bognor store.

Used the drive through. Between placing my order and getting to the pay window took 10+ minutes. Then another 5 mins and I was given my food. Luckily I checked it because they had given me the wrong food, so I then had to go back into the restaurant and get the cheeseburger I bought (instead of the cheesy bites I was given). The food seemed average.

Well, nothing mutch to say it is Macdonalds, have some issues with parking, and sometimes restaurant top floor is closed, so when going in group we need to wait to be able to sit down. Regarding food, i personally never got any complaints. Service is a little bit slow, but i assume it is because of the low number of staff.

Total shambles,everytime visiting the store there's chaos,very poorly run by incompetent staff with little or no training.orders incomplete,in the drive-thru told to park up in the carpark (that's full)to wait for 10 mins.#stop taking orders and take time to catch up.

Generally pretty slow, you can order a cheeseburger through the drive through and be told to wait 10 minutes in the car park, randomly closed at night time despite accepting an app order... not the best but it is what it is

mcdonalds is mcdonalds.....some are great...some are bad... food served here rather slower than others i have been too..... atmosphere was quiet.... no sauces available...no suger and no salt available...no serviettes available..no stirrers available ..no table service available.....some messy tables ages after customers left.... not a pleasant visit...

Had missing items on delivery order but phoned the store and got through to the manager Harley who was very helpful and apologetic he resolved the problem quickly and was extremely professional! 5 star for Harley

There a disgrace when comes to ordering a ubur from them the meals are constantly wrong food missing or sometimes someone else's arrives I use to work for this company and see has gone down hill with it's checking before it's sent on delivery all items are correct let's the kids down and familys and workers waiting on food

Went here today with family, I can honestly say this is the worst food I have had at a macdonalds restaurant. Service was slow, no urgency from the staff to get the food out, when it finally arrived it was cold. Disappointed. Will not return here again.

Waited 40 minutes at drivethough on a Thursday night at 8pm. Very poor experience. No explanation. Just poor. Definitely not fast food.

let me tell you the man serving me 01:00 on 09/12/23 was an absolute joy! he just had the cutest little laugh and most gorgeous smile i’ve ever seen !! his beautiful teeth and giggle just made me smile! i appreciated his well groomed beard neatly tucked into his beard net not allowing a single hair to fall out ! i hope he remembers me and my posse in our formal attire ! just a side note my friend joshua Rowan Bayleys triple cheeseburger was exquisite and perfect down to the last minute detail + made with love. The passion and pure joy of this beautiful man’s personality was truly reflected in my exquisite cheeseburger and his minty fresh breath re assured me that everything was under control and my burger would be made on time ! you could say …. i’m lovin it!

This has to be officially the slowest McDonald's in the UK.. absolutely shocking!

Most of the time and especially on a weekend evening, the Delivroo and Just Eat drivers park all on the middle of the public footpath, double yellows and block the road. This should be policed by the staff as it is often chaos. They should also get someone to clear up their rubbish, littered all around the place.

Food delivered via Uber was cold,customer services didn't want to know. Driver name changed twice so pretty clear food was left sitting out getting cold

Manager can't organise this awful place. Waited in the carpark for 25 mins before calling in as had a child asleep in the car. THE FOOD NEVER TURNED UP. So now McDonald's bognor Regis are fraudsters and take money but don't give goods. THEY HAVE MY MONEY AND NOW WONT REFUND IT.

The breakfast at Bognor Regis is the worst breakfast I have had after eating in McDonald's since they have first started their restaurants in England

When ordering you expect to get the correct order delivered to your door. A burger was missing from my order which was quickly blamed on Uber Eats. Why is it their fault... they don't pack the order up. Very frustrating.

This must be the worst McDonald’s in the country ordered a chicken nugget. Kids meal asked me to wait in the car park that so it looks like the orders are going through quickly. Disgusting so I cancelled the order and went to KFC

So so busy, not the restaurants fault, how can you expect it to cope with deliveries, drive thru and restaurant services. But McDonald's don't care they just want to make more money

Could use more serving screens down stairs. Or a sign telling people new to the place, there's serving screens up stairs. Extremely busy most the time, and hard to park. But a nice clean place, good food and friendly staff

Ordered a delivery through the mcdonalds yet again food was missing. This has happened several times now. Will never order from Bognor Mcdonals ever again

Automated ordering service took 5 times longer than placing order with a teenager. Why do staff need to stand around as greeters? They could take orders or clean. Disabled toilet blocked and overflowing. Soap dispensers not working in gents. Wi-Fi not only doesn’t work without all my details for marketing purposes. But it prevents external Wi-Fi from working. Food was ok. This rare foray into this corporate hell was enough for me. No more for me

Terrible every time we use the drive through they forget items avoid!

Make sure to check your order at the door. As on 3 seperate occasions we have had food items missing! Macdonald's will tell you to make a claim via Uber Eats. But if you made the order through the Macdonald's app, then this will become impossible! I had to contact the store twice for this to be rectified. Obviously Uber employ thieves as delivery drivers

This is the slowest McDonald's I've ever been to!! Believe me when I say I waited inside for my order that took 49 minutes, and the drive through is worse!!

Staff not efficient, there was no urgency to deliver my order. I asked to speak to a manager and all he said was "it is super busy today" - I know full well that the service is always rubbish - the queue for the drive thru is always out of the car park and causes major traffic issues. This was meant to be a fast food restaurant and now I have to wait 15 minutes for a muffin with jam (I even had to ask for the jam as they hadn't put any on the tray!! I cant believe they are getting away with incredibly bad customer service and yet people still go there - I will not be going to this branch in future and would rather go without than have a disappointing experience again.

Always a great experience, friendly helpful attentive staff and excellent service. Only thing that lets it down is the totally inadequate car park. For such a busy place the car park is pathetic in size and should be given overflow space in the field across the road instead of cars parking on the cycle lanes/double yellow lines which is dangerous for cyclists, pedestrians and other motorists because their field of vision approaching a busy roundabout is very obstructed.

Popped in for quick dinner on the way home after a busy day. Waited over 25 minutes in the restaurant to be served. No one manning it to ask, someone finally came, they said it was ready and it was a good further 5 minutes from That point. Terrible.Avoid.

Place is a disgrace. Been through drive through and again order was short of one of the main meals ordered only found out after driving home. This is the third time this has happened. Tried contacting them to get the food I paid for but phone appears to be off the hook. No more money of mine will be going to McDonald Bognor oak field. Total rip off! If anyone knows how to contact McDonald’s over phone or email please let me know as the cost in petrol driving back there will cost half the cost of the meal I paid for and don’t have time to drive back.

Took my grandchildrens for a treat after school they always enjoy McDonald's . Service and nice atmosphere and very clean surrounding.

Appalling I ordered a big tasty no cheese as I am allergic to cheese it’s said no cheese on the receipt and on the box of the big tasty I took a bite and it had cheese on the base of the burger. I went down to the staff and explained he said he would get the manager who came and said sorry you don’t like cheese I explained it’s not a case of not liking it I am allergic he then replied “oh well sorry” I asked was that it and is that his approach to allergens he then responded “some of the guys are new” That was it!!! I don’t want to sound ageist but the manager was probably 20 if that and I have no issue with progression but learn how to deal with situations and complaints properly this could have been far more serious and I would hate to think that young children with allergies are dismissed as I was

Drive through , not good , waited 5 minutes at the speaker at 7pm at night then a girl who obviously couldn’t be bothered, don’t like your job leave !! Chips cold , maybe they should only be open for the delivery guys as everybody else they don’t care about

3 times I got food to takeaway and have had items missing from my order. Wouldn't usually care but when you're missing an entire meal that cost £8 it's not great

Went for breakfast which was usual sausage and egg McMuffin ordered via the app but service was very slow, customers after me waited a lot longer and the restuant wasn't busy, fast food it certainly wasn't. But staff were friendly.

Want fast food? Go elsewhere. Want what you ordered? Sainsburys is down the road. Want hot food? Cook at home. Honestly, an absolutely abysmal McDonalds, I've had experiences resulting in over an hour wait for food...and that was not delivery, but an order in store! Then only one item out of 4 meals was hot and correct. But often this site has queues blocking the road, slow service, and clearly not staffed correctly. Given it recently had a refurb you would have thought everything would have been made as efficient as possible, so can only think the management of the site is the issue.

After waiting 30 minutes at the drive- through; We asked if there was anything wrong with our order, they said no and 5 minutes later we had our food except we got given the complete wrong order luckily we still liked the food tho.

Never get my food delivered from just eat. Marked as delivered, manager contacted and said to contact just eat. Just eat have the info to contact the restaurant. Second time this situation and no refund, no food. JOKE!!!!

The food was a disappointment, the mozzarella dippers was hard certainly not freshly cooked !! The restaurant has changed since I last went there ,its had a major overhaul. The disabled toliet was blocked with napkins and no staff around to inform .

Drive thru is always a minimum 40 minutes of queueing, same as ordering in store. You finish and your order is always wrong in some way, you get requested to bring it back for an exchange no problem…. How long would that take! Never should the McDonald’s in town have closed, it surely would have eased the demand. It’s horrendous.

Waiting 30 mins in drive through queue to get home and find out the 4 hamburgers I requested be plain were not. This happened twice in a row. Terrible service, terrible attention to detail. Wasted money and time. Go to crossbush McDonald's if you want to see how to run a McDonald's properly. The franchise owner in Bognor needs their licence removing you're ruining the brand.

It is what it is, the golden arches of childs joy. No regular coke available when we visited and we had to wait 20+ minutes for our food in the carpark as they couldn't make it while we were in the drive through, but it was in the middle of dinner service so expected somewhat.

Ordered delivery never arrived phoned them up and just said nothing to do with us you have to contact just eat for a refund and then person hung up! So I got no food and the refund will go on my just eat account, which I wasn't planning to use again! So I have also lost the money! Rude person on the phone

Called up at 12:45am to ask if they did McFlurrys and the gentelman on the phone said they did till 1:30 so took my young son who’s having a hard time at the moment and needed cheering up. Only to be DISSAPOINTED. When the rude man said they didn’t and the other staff member was in the wrong no APPOLOGY whatsoever. VERY DISSAPOINTED DONT COME BACK

We came at a 24 hour drive thru service at around 2am in the morning and the staff had closed the drive thrus when we went to thr front entrance we saw thw staff making burgers. But the staff refused to serve us. Very disappointed.

Went in to order at lunch time, only 2(1 double sided)machines to order at where other McDonald's have several...and a massive queue waiting to order contactless was not working.if you want to pay cash you have to go to the counter and eventually someone will take your money

Yet another delivery from the bognor branch with several items missing and cold. Third time we had used them and thought third time lucky... but no, two wraps missing and cold burgers and fries. Won't ever be ordering from or going there again.

I do not know who they do employ in this particular MCD site, but they never can get your order right - always something is missing or cold. Sandwiches are literally thrown in together, waiting time is far greater than on other sites, and most of he time at nights is closed despite stating it's 24 hours. Dont waste your time - take longer trip and go to Chichester.

Probably have a McDonald's three or four times a year. it seems like every time I go here, they get something wrong, I sort of come to expect it now, lol....that said, the food we do get is of a good quality 👌

Milkshakes machine always broken. Mcdonalds appear to always use this trick when cleaning out the machine

My sister used the drive through and it wasn't until she returned and unpacked the food that she realised she had been charged for chips that were ordered but not packed in the bag. This has happened many a time when her or my mum have ordered for delivery there is always something missing. Perhaps less speed and more accuracy when packing would solve these issues that keep reoccurring.

Sat in the restaurant for 50 minutes waiting for our order. When it finally arrived half of it was missing. The other half of the order turned up but without cutlery for my salad. No toilet paper in the ladies and the toilet didn't flush. Went to dispose of our rubbish and the bin was overflowing. Won't bother again.

The food it's not good quality, the sandwich come all crumbled, the chip's it's cold,I am really don't recommend

Massive queue , order wrong, customer service staff talk too quietly. The wait for food not great people being served before others.. bad customer service Disappointed

No salt. fries were unsalted. There was ketchup in all of the dispensers and no bbq sauce. Staff looked completely checked out and the ordering system was unclear. Milkshake was meant to be chocolate but was vanilla. Nobody was at the counter to ask for help at all.

Regular McDonald's clean enough if you pick your table,can be very busy as it's not that big inside with upstairs being larger than downstairs,love there chips over KFC and the Mcflurrys are fab, you can order at machines and food delivered to table, smallish carpark, good location right on roundabout
