Brewers Fayre, The Regis in Arun

Would have been nice of the company to state that they are closed on their website. It would have saved me a wasted journey to find the building shut down.

We have today found out this Fab place is Closing for good next week, to be demolished to make way for a Premier Inn appar. We have been going here for a good 20+ years, know most of the Staff personally. Never had a bad Meal there. Gutted for them all. Sorry to see them Go

Very impressed with this lovely pub. Me the wife and 4 kids are visiting Butlins and decided to go for a little walk on the sea front, and remembered the chef and brewer from last visit about 8 years ago (was good then). The food is lovely especially for the price 2 meals for £10.49 on the set menu which we had the chicken burger and chips and tikka curry which both tasted great. This place has a kids play area with slides and soft play and stuff which was amazing for the kids and gave me and the wife a rest 🤣 also the kids are in full view all the time as you also have a seating area there. Funniest this is we came back to this lovely place everyday just because my kids loved the play area, pool table and the unlimited hot chocolate. Big thanks to Sam, Terri and Ian for making us feel so welcome lovely beautiful people. (Sorry I only have the one pic when the kids finished playing pool but trust me the food and play area are highly recommend)

Ordered two starters both to come out with the main. After quite a long wait my daughters came out as a starter on its own. Great. More waiting. When the other came out with the meals ‘potato dippers’ usually served with sour cream as a dip! Not this time. A big dollop of sour cream on top. Not really a dipper! As we don’t like sour cream had to return as wouldn’t be eaten. Waiters response was you along the lines of you should have ordered it without the dip. Ahhh putting a dollop in the middle of it is not a dip!!!!!

We booked for 1pm and we were seated by a lovely lady, my daughter joined us with my 2 year old granddaughter. Food ordered then a very long wait , when the food was brought out the waiter very rudely told us to put the menus back in the holder as they had to be used for the rest of the day and the food then plonked on the table , no attempt to put them in the correct place just there is this and oh yeah there is this to which we handed the food about in between him hurriedly putting them on the table . We did request he then didn’t return to our table to another member of staff due to his rudeness. When the mains came out the plate which my granddaughters food was on was scourching hot which I find totally unexceptable. The waiter then took it back to the kitchen to put on a safer plate… overall awful experience and as a former pub landlady for a long time I will not be returning

Well what can I say ! We have just had the most fantastic meal and service you could wish for. Me and my family visit every week and travel from Southampton to meet up with are friends. The service is second to none and we love are weekly visits The kids play area is great and keeps are children entertained. A special mention to Ian who served us today he is absolutely brilliant ! He looked after us from start to finish and is one of the most friendliest people I have met. He always has a smile on his face and goes out of his way to make are visits memorable. The kids know Ian by name and he is always up for a laugh . Thanks Ian and all the team at the Regis your the best pub in the brewers Faye chain.

I came here for lunch with my family on Mother’s Day, the food was amazing and the staff were incredible. The food came out and hot and cooked perfectly. Josh and the team really looked after us and were so friendly. Will deffo be returning!

The service at this restaurant was abysmal. we waited over one hour for meals to be served after ordering. when complaining to member of staff they were disinterested. It was a lunchtime visit

Came in 7pm manager said sit where you like, found a nice quiet spot. Waiter called Ian came over rudely asking us to move so it made life easier for him to tidy up sat us in the raised area by the window around everyone. Not happy had no issues coming in until he started.

We waited over an hour from ordering before our meals arrived at the table which was unacceptable. Quite frankly that completely ruined our lunch .We did complain but the response was the kitchen was busy Food was OK and fair value .Because of wait we would not revisit

We had the pleasure of meeting Charlotte today who was so helpful on a cold windy day along the front in Bognor. She gave us a warm smile and somewhere warm with a lovely coffee and food… the kids could play indoors too - bonus!! Thank you :)

Went to the restaurant to try somewhere different and wished we hadn't. I won't knock the staff as they were very nice and attentive, but it's the food that let them down. My husband ordered steak pie, but had chips instead of mash and no peas, out came a dinner that looked like a chip shop pie and a tiny handful of chips. I ordered the smothered chicken and the dinner looked like it had been under the hot plate for ages, it was really dry and the bacon was just a rasher of fat. I also ordered nachos which said it came with salsa, my mistake I suppose they came with chopped tomatoes and a small dollop of sour cream, very boring. In all we couldn't wait to leave and will not go back there again, our worst meal out in ages
