Excellent service. Friendly, polite and helpful. Emma our waitress was lovely. Great cooked breakfast and a granola fruit cup. Recommend both.

Went for lunch. Was surprised how shabby the pub area is looking. Some seats were ripped, wooden floor had something spilt on it. The menus we were given were dog eared! Is it not time for a refurb, this place must be a money earner, being that it’s in a prime spot at the harbour? The food was ok, fairly hot. Presented well. The staff are friendly.

DO NOT RECOMMEND. Table booked for 10:30, some people got there a little bit late so the others had a coffee whilst waiting. When everyone was there, we had to grab someone to take our order 15 minutes after getting there. Food was ordered around 11:10/11:15. By about 11:50, we asked where our food is and how long it would be as breakfast had stopped serving by this point and lunch was beginning, and we also had to leave at 12:30 to drive to gatwick to drop our family there who had visited for the weekend. 2 meals came at 12, and then 2 more come at 12:10, a 5th meal at 12:15. Food was cold, bacon undercooked, pancakes undercooked. We had to cancel the last two meals as it was taking far too long and we needed to leave. Staff were disgustingly rude, laughing at us, whispering to eachother and laughing at my disabled dad who was in a wheelchair. The manager was eating the cooked breakfasts in the kitchen ( can see through the big open window ) whilst we were waiting for ours! totally understand going on a break, but why are you eating customer food when you have customers still waiting? their excuses were they had lots of tables, they had 2 tables of 2 and one of 10, then us of 7. Why would you not be more prepared for a sunday morning service? other customers had chimed in and said they had had poor service too. Extremely disappointed as I’ve loved it there previously but will not be going again. Completely ruined our last morning with our family before they had to leave.

AVOID !!!! Absolute disgrace of a service, I am a restaurant manager and hearing about what happened to my family this morning was absolutely foul. The management team on the breakfast shift of 11/02/2024 clearly can’t cope with anything as the restaurant was not busy at all and their incompetent waitresses were so unprofessional and rude that they should not be working in any job that involves customer service. They seemed to think it was funny when confronted about leaving their table an hour and a half for some breakfast in an almost empty restaurant, even though it was made perfectly clear BEFORE ordering that they needed to leave at 12:30 for a flight. There was no sense of urgency at all from anyone on shift. The team on this morning should be ashamed of themselves at the fact they think it’s funny to make people wait especially as a member of the table was in a wheelchair, and when they were talking to management the waitresses were seen to be looking over and laughing from a distance. This would not be tolerated in any respectable establishment but clearly this is not one of them. An absolute joke!

Always good value and always served with efficiency and a smile, Sam today who was lovely, obviously busy but not too busy for a chat and gluten awareness.

We went expecting a nice meal but ended up bitterly disappointed, my husband had a mixed grill he asked for the steak to be done medium it was rare and too tough to chew he didn't attempt the sausage as it was hard and burnt and the egg was cold. I had chicken and bacon waffle the bacon was under cooked the chicken was coated in breadcrumbs but to much pepper in the mix for me and really dry I did bring a bit of chicken home I was going to give it to my dog but thought better of it and the chips were hard and dry. We also tried the cream soda drink but all we could taste was lime, I did leave a note for the chefs as I know a lot of staff are afraid to give them a complaint and a lot think your trying to pay less but that is not the reason for my complaint to be honest it was just awful

Amazing Food and great service we was served by a lovely waitress named Emma who was very well spoken and made everyone in the restaurant feel welcome with a smile, she checked on us very often and made sure everything was all done well for us. Will definitely be visiting again :)

I come here often and get great service from Sean and Jeorgia and izzy they are so friendly. Keri the manager is always so smiley at the door. They have a good range of largers.

Family birthday meal…not a success We waited to be seated , we waited to get our order taken, we waited ages for our starter, then we waited another age for our main course. In fact I think we had been forgotten…asked where meal was we were told it was being plated, however I think my husband’s has been plated a very long time….and not near enough to heat. The restaurant is in a fantastic location, we could eat and watch the harbour. The staff were really friendly and available to satisfy our every need. Our meals were also delicious and exceeded our expectations. So an excellent experience that we will definitely repeat.

Great cooked breakfast where everything was cooked to order and piping hot. A shout out for Erin who offered exceptional customer service - nothing was too much trouble and served with a smile.
