Hamden Grill in Eastbourne

Got here in great time, good service but pizza was too stodgy

My personal opinion is there the better ones around food quality and quantity is good for the price you pay highly recommended

I had a large kebab lamb it wasn't large it was medium at all the chips was cold totally shocking never go there again he charged 12 for large as the chicken kebab is 12 pounds how come fuming ripping people off

lamb was overcooked very tough,chips were like they were old recooked chips.

I happened to be driving past Hamden Grill on Thursday 15th late afternoon. I was shocked to see one of the staff light a cigarette in the cooking area. I have used this place for some time, after seeing the person smokiI will not be going there again

Ordered a pizza with pepperoni and onions , he forgot To cook the onions and left them on top of my pizza raw! And the base of the pizza is like a biscuit it is so overcooked along with our chips that came with our burgers 😫

This place served very cold and very dry meat and the service was awful I’m highly disappointed and now my kids have to starve

Never had chips that shattered when you try and pick them up with a fork. The kebab meat was massively over cooked and the garlic bread had the worst taste ever probably due to being burnt. Will never order from this place again

Obviously paid for some internet advertising as I had seen them on Instagram or Facebook. Pizzas were terrible like they were frozen base that was cooked before it was defrosted. Don’t do it!!

Absolutely disgusting 🤢 Unless you like cooked dog food you won’t like this. Couldn’t eat any of it stale old salad lumps of salty dog food that stank gross!

I ordered from here yesterday (16.05). 1: delivery to Berwick train station was not completed on time (we are station security) 2: delivery man who barely speaks English, who was not brave enough to call me when he arrived 3: the food was adequate and that is why I re-ordered today (17.05) as we are working at the same station today. But Hampden Grill rejected my order. So it's not hard for me to make the decision to never order from here again!!!!

Pizza undercooked and tasted of oven cleaner, kebab that greasy the wrapping had disintegrated , would not recommend

The shish kebab with salad was great thank you. Good idea to separate the pitta bread as well

No Chilli sauce on the Chicken Kebab. Shame as it’s great quality food and very rarely make a mistake but sadly they did on this occasion.

Not die wtf I just tasted... The "pizza" looked like brown bread with a paper thin layer of cheese on... Tasted like burnt plastic... 3 different tasters and same opinion shared. This place need closing down. I can't complain as they are on holiday from today for 5 weeks... Obviously trying to make their holiday pennies up and use the mouldy leftovers

Placed an order for delivery at 8, it came at 7:15 and I was unable to accept, food came back on time and was hot. Tasty food. Will order again

The kebab I ordered was acceptable but very boring. No salad, no sauce, dull and incredibly dry. I won’t be using Hampden Grill again. Shame, because the delivery was very fast.

Honestly the worse kebab and pizza we have ever ordered, the dough tasted like it was frozen and just quickly put into the microwave. The kebab meat was disgusting, was dry and horrible salad was brown. Only tried a few bits but couldn't manage anymore before throwing it away. Waste of money. 🤢

Jacket potato was cold and dry suppose to have prawn mayo on but it was plain shrimp, 2 mouth fulls and I was done. Nasty never going there again wast of money

Chips where over cooked and had hardly any cheese on them and I found a bone in my chicken kebab really not a nice meal.

I ordered Lamb done and it's the most disgusting meal ever tested. Even the odour is a sheet. I just ate the chips and the bread then throwed it.

The food arrived on time, but a complete waste of money, its inedible, it tastes awful I ordered 2 pizzas and both taste sour and soapy, the bread dosnt seam cooked properly and by the taste I'd say its well past use by date. Sadly I cannot eat it

Chicken donor was nice, but the pizza I don’t know what you have cooked in or done to it but it don’t taste good at all. Certainly won’t be ordering pizza from there again

I wouldn’t order again from this restaurant. I have order pizza it came overcooked(burnt), i have complaint to the restaurant they offered me new pizza. Unfortunately, it came also overcooked.

Smelt funny & Tasted awful it’s usually really good from here but when the dog turns his nose up you know something isn’t right. Our original order went to the wrong house. Hope they enjoyed it more than us

I have just had the worst meat and chips of my life. Opened up my food to find it swimming in juices, everything was only Luke warm and the portion size was tiny.

Pizza base not cooked and when I called the ‘chef’ was shouting and denied anything wrong! Told me to get a refund from Just Eat, so, no dinner for me! Then puddings…..don’t bother! ‘Cheesecake’ is a frozen strawberry cake and the baklava was stale. Definitely WILL NOT using again. Disgusting food and disgusting service.

Recooked chicken, reheated chips and dry Donna meat. Will not reorder from here. Shame as delivery guy was nice

Best kebab in Eastbourne, such succulent and tender lamb doner. The freshness of the vegetables was superior to other kebab take outs in Eastbourne. Keep up the good work Hampden Grill!

Piping hot, plenty of meat and nice salad. One complaint though: they forgot the chips.

The food from here is disgusting.. I ordered kids nuggets and chips and a chicken kebab.. the kebab was more fatty than chicken ans rubbery. The nuggets.. I've never seen or tasted anything like it.. they must be fake chicken and plastic. Never going here again. Awful.

Threw most of it away. Chips was well over cooked and not edible. Won’t be ordering from them again.

Ordered a large mixed donner from here and quarter pounder burger meal. The donner portion was big but the kebab was rubbery and bland, the so called “garlic” sauce tastes like gone off mint sauce absolutely disgusting. Pitta bread wasn’t soft. The burger was decent however the chips were overcooked and hella bland. I will not be ordering from this place again in my life and i do NOT recommend others to order from here, you will highly regret it.

Needed dinner in a hurry for two of us. Friendly service and above average kebabs. Accept cards no issues. Would use again

Save your money. We bought two pizzas and a garlic pizza for us and two kids. None of us could eat it. The cheese was hard and browned. Never seen anything like it before.

Pizza was under cooked so rang up and told then and all you could hear was him and a lady arguing about it, was told could have one cooked more next time but I couldn't eat the one that I had so in the end they brought a new one

I have been using HG for several years, always hot and tasty. There are other kebab takeaways, but for me HG is tops.

Everything was nice but we wanted kebab with salad and when our wraps turned up it was missing the salad so wasn’t the best kebab I’ve had.

Always good service and food really hot.

Good food, I gave it 4/5 stars because it does say free drink over £20. I spent over this amount and did not get the drink. I even wrote in the notes “please do not forget the drink” … still didn’t get it. This isn’t the first time this has happened.

WOULD NOT EVEN RATE 1 STAR. Absolutely the most repulsive, disgusting food I have ever eaten. I wouldn’t even serve this to my dog. Ordered pizzas, Kebabs and chips. Pizza was burnt, with grotesque, brown, hard ‘ chicken’. As well as an unwanted side of hair in my pizza!! Also had bones in the pizza too. Kebab literally fell to pieces and was grotesque. Chips were wet, cold and soggy. Called to complain and the manager was so rude!!! He said ‘ food we sell is good, you had no hair in food, cheers’ and hung up the phone. Called back and was laughed at. Place needs shutting down after all these reviews. Would have NEVER have ordered had I known I would have been eating food that tasted it was weeks old. Have requested a FULL refund on the app, DO NOT ORDER, DINE OR EVEN SPEAK ABOUT THIS **!HIT ?OLE Photos clearly show the burnt pizza, chicken bone and hair attached to my food.

I love this restaurant, food always hot, orders correct, and delivered on time. I use them, and will continue to use them on a regular basis.

Always enjoy our kebabs from hampden Park grill they always check the notes as I love extra green chilli's and lots of garlic sauce

Overall pretty good, my only real negative thought, seemed a bit on the small side for an XL Donner, I remember the days when an XL would not fit in the box and you could not close up the box cos it was literally bursting out. Still, I enjoyed it.

Food wasn’t as good as I’ve had before.. I had chicken and kofta kebab asked for garlic sauce and it was soaked in it way too much spoilt the kebabs. Chips were not nice either not very fresh like they had been cooked and left they were warm. Very disappointed. Hubby wasn’t happy with his kebab either.
