Nice lunch with the family. Food was good, as was the price and service.

Good place to go for a reasonable meal out with work, have been here many times. Varied menu.

Nice pub, good food. Downside was kids chasing around the pub disturbing the folk eating.

Decent pub grub at reasonable prices. Ordered tea and was given a mug of hot water & tea bag. Unfortunately the water was only Luke warm but was replaced without question. The staff were efficient but lacked personable skills. Easy parking and plenty of outside space if the weather is nice.

You can't go wrong at the prices this place charges. Great selection of food. Staff are always helpful, and the service is great.

Pub owned by Greene King near Tunbridge Wells in Kent. It's quite a large pub with a few areas inside, some for more for drinkers and the rest for dining. It has a dart board,a poll table and there are various large screen TVs showing Sky Sports. There are some good deals on food but it was disappointing to find that a fair few options were not available. No Sunday roast on Sunday! I ended up with my third main course option. The food arrived in about 20 minutes, to be honest I have seen and tasted better meals in other Greene King pubs which have much the same menu. I recently signed up for the Greene King sports App which entitled me to a free drink. The barman didn't know how this worked but the manager stepped in to help. I used the toilet and discovered that the soap dispenser was completely missing. The pub has an outside area which looked nice lit up as the light faded. I have had good experiences in most Greene King pubs but felt this one a little below par. 3.5/5 would be my rating if that were possible.

Credit where it’s due to The Robin Hood, a couple of Sundays ago. Good , efficient & friendly service from bar staff… ( Beccy) . So pleased to witness another young male member of staff clearing & sweeping outside area . It’s encouraging to see - it’s not yet perfect, still incidents of no soap in gents toilets, but bought it to this staff member’s attention. However, my food was good & value for money… let’s hope it’s a sign of great things

The place is nice but the chips weren't cooked enough and neither was the garlic bread. The rest of the meals were nice though. I had the vegan fish and chips and my wife had a vegan mushroom and ale pie. If you could sort the chips out it would have been a four to five stars

Tables sticky , menus full of food left overs from previous people . Not good house keeping ..everything I touched was sticking to my hands ..lack of basic cleaning . Walked out

Great family pub/restaurant. We came for Dinner on a busy Saturday and received Great service and tasty meals. Fairly priced menu too.

Came for Sunday lunch and was pleasantly surprised. The food was cooked to perfection and was a good atmosphere. We will most definitely return.

Been several times for drinks due to convenience and location and I like this pub for convenience. However, Food below average. Some food on menu always out of stock! Poor quality salad and presentation. Somedays the portions of vegetables seem to be like it’s being rationed out. Took ages for tables to be cleared and cleaned. Very disappointing. If you haven’t got the veggies please offer an alternative. The waitress didn’t come back to check on us after serving the food until we had to ask for the bill. This branch needs to up your game. Time for refurbishment as also looking tired and out dated. Potential is there to improve all round. Grab the opportunity.

Food was below par, steak was supposed to be 11oz , but was smaller than my partner’s 8oz sizzler ( which didn’t have a lot of sizzling going on ) … a bit tough for medium rare..I was told by the manager at one time’ I am sure it will be perfect next time’ … well it has never got to THAT standard!! New menus out, slightly cleaner than the old menus, that have grubby fingerprints all over- cheap & cheerful grub , reluctantly cleaned tables.. some staff try their best, others would be better off elsewhere. Makes me chuckle when asked how everything was - NO feedback is going to get a happy response or resolution. I’ve had better, and it’s a surprise rather than expectation when that happens.

Food was excellent. Received promptly. Had the New York chicken, (BBQ chicken, bacon, cheese and BBQ sauce) .Chicken was not over cooked as you tend to get with this dish elsewhere 😋. Great value as was the service 👍

We ate here recently, and our food was absolutely lovely. The service by Leo and Pier was absolutely fantastic, very kind and friendly. Would definitely recommend to anyone in the area.

I was married yesterday asked a month ago for a table for 18 people said we would b down between 3 and 4 to eat and now the table has gone not very happy

Came in for a Sunday roast with family as a treat. Great size portions, especially the kids roast. Service was amazing, nothing was too much trouble for the young lad that bought our food.

Came into the Robin Hood on Saturday 8th June for lunch, was served by the tall lad on the bar who was very nice and informative, the young waitress helped us carry our drinks over and the lad who brought the food over was very polite and friendly, the food was excellent as always when we come in

Lovely pub but tables were sticky and needed a better clean. Friendly welcoming staff and reasonably priced food. Would return and recommend. Just need to keep an eye on the cleanliness.

We returned to this pub for a family meal and weren't disappointed. Staff were friendly, helpful and attentive especially our server Zak. All food was cooked and presented well especially the steak with mushrooms. Was a nice evening so ate outside and afterwards watched the football on the garden tv. Will return without doubt.

Not great experience for a bank holiday weekend treat, food average at best, some of the dessert items not available, 30-40 minute wait time for food.

Was a bit too rowdy for me. The noisiest it’s ever been when I’ve visited. The food was good.

Food was ok for the cost, service was awful. We walked in to all available tables dirty and not been cleared which is fine as we could see it was busy. We approached The manager/ or assistant manager and asked if they would mind quickly wiping our table from food as we had cleared the plates ourselves and she suggested we should use the spray and cloth to clean the dirty table ourselves as she was trying to clear the empty tables plates when we asked them to clean it - which we did.

Came into the Robin Hood on Saturday the 20th and couldn’t fault the place again, was served by Louis on the bar who was very insightful and helpful with everything, and carried over our teas and coffees for us, the food was great, service was excellent an all round pleasant experience.

The good was dismal, to say the least.Not enough staff, especially as it was Easter Sunday, even though we had reserved a table, we still had to wait 30 mins before being seated. I was not even acknowledged when I went to the bar, which, being an ex-landlord, I find extremely rude. The tables were incredibly sticky, the flush on the disabled toilet was broken,which, if I recollect correctly, apologies if wrong, was broken in November. Myself and my family will not be back again.

Plus the managers are so lovely , they go so above and beyond I could hug them . I love all the old men and their stories from the war .

We came across Robin Hood on our road trip. On first arriving, we chose a seat and proceeded to order via the app. I fancied a rhubarb gin but prefer it with lemonade, we thought we had ordered this, but my gin came out with tonic and a separate glass of lemonade. I added the lemonade to my gin in the hope that it would improve it, but it didn't it wouldve been good if when i chose Gin maybe a drop down menu could appear offering the mixer i prefered. Tbh, the food came out not long after, and it tasted really good. The service was superb, and the food was hot and tasty. This is why I didn't mention the drink and why I have still given 5 🌟. Although it wasn't overly busy, there was a large group celebrating an 18th birthday, yet the food was still brought out quickly. I do think had I mentioned my drink, it would've been sorted without question. I would recommend this pub and would have no problem coming here again if I was in the area.

Came in for dinner on Tuesday 5th March and can’t fault it enough, can’t explain how much value for money this place is, me and friends ordered two fish and chips and two chicken skewer mix it ups, and the quality and speed of service was amazing, the chef and Richard on the bar were brilliant.

Nice pub, decent food at good prices

We booked a table for 9 people plus a highchair. When we arrived there was no table reserved for us. Were told to find ourselves a table. When looking in the restaurant there were no clean tables. All tables had dirty plates and glasses on them! We then had to make ourselves a table big enough for us all. We ordered our food, which arrived promptly. We had to clear our own starter plates onto a table behind which already had dirty plates on them. The steaks were tough, but all other food was average. On leaving all the tables were still full of empty plates and dirty glasses!

I love this place visit regularly!!! Its definitely my go too !! They even hosted a birthday party put on an amazing spread in the buffet !! Staff are welcoming and so helpful and the food is soooooo good!!! Great outside area too relax in too!!

Unexpected trip to Pembury hospital and wanted to go somewhere for lunch, this was the first place that came up and was outstanding. Staff were very friendly and the food was great. Highly recommend!

Regularly come to the Robin Hood in Tunbridge Wells when down for work, haven’t been in a while and the standards have elevated came in on Thursday February 1st at around 7 o clock and couldn’t fault it, food was amazing; came out quickly, hot, presented well, give the chef on shift a pay rise, as it was busy and was knocking the food out the park.

I came in here and ordered with my family and the service that rescived from the two young lads (Codey and Charlie) was exceptional and the management was so polite and welcoming

Unfortunately we had to listen to this guy swearing all the time and not one member of staff approached him to get it stopped we were going to have a pudding but decided we couldn't hear that anymore what shame as normally all ok .

Small portions all meals had about 10 chips we all left still hungry and had to eat at home great for my birthday meal out and the food tasted as though it had been pre cooked and reheated before coming out also it came way to quickly to have been freshly cooked I know it was quiet but was too quick and not hot enough to have been cooked fresh. we have been coming here for the last 10 years but this was the last time we will be visiting.

Ordered half and Guinness and chicken wrap for a quick on the road lunch. Drink arrived okay. 30 mins later I’m having to ask about the wrap. It then arrives. It’s a chicken wrap, not a risotto from scratch. General feel of incompetence about the place. Not recommended.

Our food was stone cold, and we had to send back two of the meals and some garlic bread. When it came back it was over-microwaved and the garlic bread was burnt. There was also a nightclub in the bar - so loud the barman...

Don't go for decor or atmosphere, but certainly go for reasonably-priced well-cooked food.

Food was a lot better than when I was last there about 10 months ago. Seem to have improved a lot. I am dairy free and they were very helpful with that. Very slow to order as not enough staff behind bar.

I had a lovely meal out with my boyfriend at this pub! I was served the manager and he was absolutely amazing! He made us feel very welcomed and accounted to all our needs! Will definitely be returning!
