The food was incredibly average. Tasteless and very much below par, especially considering the price. Crème brûlée was so shallow that it was inevitably overcooked. Didn’t taste of anything and the blackberry crème didn’t even taste slightly if blackberries. Every dish we ordered was underwhelming. The dining room had cobwebs and the tonic that accompanied the £9 G&T was a very cheap brand. The service was excellent; cheerful and efficient…which meant we could escape quickly. Won’t be returning. There are much, much better places to eat for the price.

Food was generally ok although my chips were cold. I couldn’t send them back because there were no staff around to ask. They didn’t spend much time in the restaurant at all. The service was friendly enough but very slow which was surprising when the restaurant was practically empty. We sat with our empty plates for 20 minutes before someone actually noticed. I don’t live in the area but I probably wouldn’t go back which is a shame because my experience in another pub in the same chain in Handcross West Sussex was far superior in every way.

Great venue with an unbelievably friendly staff which made me feel at home. Charley was a great help behind the bar, very chatty and friendly! Knew her stuff with the deals and whats good to drink as I aint much of a drinker. The food was also top tier! I'd suggest you to also visit!

So used to frequent this pub a lot and back in area so thought a lazy bank holiday afternoon on the river with my sister would be just the job. We were seated at our table to be told 2 mins later we were at the wrong table and asked to move. Said table remained empty for the rest of the afternoon. We ordered drinks and food. The starters were ok but nothing special Mushrooms just a few and squid which was just average. Our main course was chicken - ok and pork belly - very difficult to cut right through the slow cooked meat . During our meal out drinks ran out and no attempt was made to ask if we wanted more - a missed opportunity Also we sitting next to water/sauces fridge which was constantly left open with a waiter also smashing a glass next to us. They cleared the table but again no attempt to ask us if we wanted more . We eventually got the waiter’s attention and ordered more drinks and dessert. My sister’s Apple tart was great but I ordered the cheese and biscuits 3 of the tiniest bits of cheese the chutney took up more space on the plate all in all a very disappointing visit and sadly will not be visiting again.

I popped into the Frogshome Farm for an evening meal. I tried the new addition to their menu, the Salt and pepper chicken wings. Wow, they were so good I bought an extra portion to take home. I have to take my hat off to all the very friendly staff. As the venue was bustling, they certainly had their work cut out for them, which they did to the highest standard of excellent service. Well done to Vania and the team—great effort and lovely food.

Absolutely incredible experience as always. The restaurant area is always clean and tidy. We are always met with a friendly greeting and chat by the ladies in the cafe, it’s safe to say we have made some valuable friends. The food is always quick, fresh, hot and tastes amazing each time. Drinks and food portions are incredible too! Definitely worth a visit. Even on the busiest days, the staff work effortlessly to ensure quick service.

Went for a casual lunch after walking the dog, having moved to the area recently. We went in expecting to just have nibbles, but the menu sounded great so we decided to splash out a bit. What we received was very disappointing and definitely not worth what we paid for it. Service at the bar was very unfriendly to the point we felt the staff would have preferred us not to be there. Starters weren't bad, I had the chorizo scotch egg which tasted nice, even if the egg yolk was a bit gelatinous. My wife had the croquettes which were also tasty but a very small portion. Main course was very poor. I got the Pollo picante, which is advertised as half a chicken in a spicy marinade. The chicken was dry and the marinade was very bland - what flavour it did have was not spicy and not even very pleasant. The amount of chicken provided was also not great - half a chicken suggests at least two very large chunks of chicken, what I received were two meagre breasts which had dried out under the grill. The chips were also poor - they had an unpleasant floury aftertaste and weren't very crispy- I'd expect better in a pub geared towards food. My wife had the pasta calabrese al forno, which was also somewhat dry and the sauce tasted burnt. It had only a small amount of chicken and practically no chorizo. We had thought about pudding but decided not to in the end. We live locally and had thought this might be a good place to come with friends and family but might not bother, given the overpriced and mediocre food and unfriendly service.

Was there as part of the cast playing at the theatre. My colleague took a drink back only to be told by the duty manager that he was barred. Then the duty manager sent 2 security personnel to our table to intimidate us, one of whom put his hands on my colleague then he lied and said he didn’t. Very poor behaviour from the duty manager just because a pint of lager got returned Avoid at all cost
