I really want to leave a glowing review for this restaurant as it has so much potential to be utterly awesome but I feel frustrated with what is holding you back and how easily fixable it is! Firstly our experience was a lovely one compared to some reviews, we saw it from outside and was impressed with the menu, the decor looked impressive and it was a lovely sunny morning 10am so we sat outside. The lady server was lovely very friendly and efficient, the attention to details with branding and aesthetic we were impressed with, and I loved the coffee glasses! (The caramel iced coffee was lovely too) I had the potato stack and my sister had the eggs Benedict, presentation was great and it tasted delicious, we were sat saying how we would definitely go back again another time to try the bottomless brunch.... Now before leaving I used the ladies, and I have to say I was disgusted. It was filthy, there was dust and muck around the tiles on the floor, it smelled...so bad...we thought it must be the sanitary bin... The countertop was stained and grimy...really absolutely no excuse for uncleanliness even if the decor is terrible, especially so soon after opening. This should be done before any members of public enter the premises, if I'd used the loos before ordering I would have walked out. I always think the toilets represent the overall cleanliness of an establishment as if the areas the public enter aren't clean then what are the areas we don't use like? 1/ Management - please read through your reviews across platforms, take considerations to being constantly pulled up on being slow and rude, your customers will be happy to pay a good price for your lovely food if you can sort the customer service. And this is where customer reviews become important, as I mentioned earlier how we said we would like to come back for the bottomless brunch? After reading reviews of slow service, rude staff and small drinks sizes, I'm afraid I won't be returning. I wonder how many other potential repeat customers are doing the same? 2/ The toilets.....the bad reviews for these go back to at least 3 years ago, why is nothing being done about this, it's not expensive to replace a counter top and get someone to clean.... Overall you have a lovely business location, wonderful decor (exc. loos) and the most delicious food/presentation....please don't squander what was your business dream by letting yourselves down in the same areas repeatedly.... I have given 4 stars as the food was delicious and the staff member serving us was really lovely, however I have left my full honest review for people to decide for themselves.

A really lovely breakfast, sat outside in the sunshine. High quality food and plenty of options. Very generous portions.

The pancakes are perfect - fluffy and well cooked with such a good flavour. The white chocolate and blueberry were lovely! The French toast is really good too. Also lovely service all round :)

Both of us ordered ham and cheese toasted sandwich with chips and two coffees. The sandwiches were greasy and inedilble with not a very nice aroma of bad cooking oil. Waste of £27 (including service charge!) Scruffy toilets and bar decor .

The food was great. The service was friendly. The coffee was amazing. It was reasonably priced. I liked it a lot and hope to come back sometime soon. The music was a bit overwhelming for lunchtime, but I do get that that's the vibe they're going for. Wouldn't put me off though.

Went for cocktails for my husbands bday, around 1/2 pm, already serving 241! We loved it, the attention was amazing and the cocktails where awesome! Amazing vibes, amazing staff, just amazing place, we can’t wait to come back to Southampton and visit XoXo!

Really great breakfast! Had steak and eggs, veggie breakfast and pancakes. The most delicious pancakes we have EVER eaten! All served quickly and with great service. The coffee is fantastic too. would recommend!

Complete waste of time and money! Waited 30mins for our first drink, the drinks came and tasted just like pure pineapple juice. One of the waitresses was really rude! The toilets were grotty. Essentially i paid £32 for a bacon sandwich with chips and some pure pineapple juice! Complete rip off!

Arriving at 2pm we didn’t get our first drink until 2.35!! The server was absolutely lovely. However another waitress was very rude and made us feel like walking out within the first 15 mins. On arrival a lovely lady greeted us and showed us to a table. However the table felt as though we were beneath everyone else and very comfortable. We asked if we could be moved to booth seating this waitress allowed us to move and within minutes of getting ourselves comfortable on a new table we was told by another member of staff we was not able to sit there and we had to move I explained the seating wasn’t comfortable, to which this member of staff told us there was nothing she could do about that as another booking was coming In, in 20 minutes. Myself and my friend had been served our food and finished and by time we had left still no one was sat were we had been moved from. This member of staff was very rude and did not have any sort of sympathy at all!! However our original server was more than happy to try and help. However due to what I assume was management, I will not be returning and I will not recommend to friends and family. The cocktails also with 2 selections was not what we expected for £30 per person when the sizes of the cocktails where not up to standard!! Definitely not the best for a bottomless brunch!!

Went for a bottomless brunch, service was awful, took nearly 25 minutes to get a drink, 1 waitress serving 8 tables, toilets were beyond disgusting, worse than public toilets will never visit again

Great service by our server (Levi) and the bartender (didn’t get a name) He was very attentive and had great knowledge of the menu with some great recommendations (French toast was amazing!) The coffee was also top notch, not bitter and tasted balanced! Great decor, could do with some more lighting but for a quick easy Sunday lunch, a great spot to go too!!

Xoxo used to be our regular breakfast/brunch spot when they were at Bedford Place but we were putting it off since it moved to the busier Oxford St. We were wrong. Standards stand the same, for both service and food. It’s a cozy, welcoming atmosphere with great food to go along with it. After 6 visits, still a favourite! Love you guys!

We had a impromptu lunch here. Everything on the menu looked amazing - We had the fish finger sandwich which was a huge delicious triple decker. The coffee was fantastic and the staff friendly and helpful but not intrusive. Would definitely recommend.

Visit number 5. Still our favourite breaky/brunch spot in Southampton! Hands down, by miles. To get something this good we would drive down to Winchester. The coffee is fantastic, the service is very friendly and sometimes quite quick, and the food… we gone thru the whole menu already and there’s not a bad option there. Even the vegan stuff is good. What a gem! Many thanks to all the staff. We love you!
