Xoxo in Southampton

Llegamos a un establecimiento vacío, pero las mesas estaban sucias. La persona que servía limpiaba las mesas, pero el servicio en sí era muy lento. Cuando pedimos la factura, no nos la enseñaron, ella puso los números en la máquina de tarjetas y fue solo después de pagar que descubrimos que nos habían cobrado un cargo por servicio. No había mención de esto en el menú. No tengo ningún problema en dar propinas por un buen servicio pero un cargo automático en una mesa para cuatro cuando el servicio era deficiente es ridículo. Definitivamente no volvería.

Realmente quiero dejar una crítica brillante para este restaurante, ya que tiene mucho potencial para ser absolutamente impresionante, pero me siento frustrado con lo que te está frenando y lo fácil de arreglar que es! En primer lugar, nuestra experiencia fue encantadora en comparación con algunas críticas, lo vimos desde fuera y nos impresionó con el menú, la decoración parecía impresionante y era una hermosa mañana soleada 10 am, así que nos sentamos fuera. La señora servidora era encantador muy amable y eficiente, la atención a los detalles con la marca y estética que nos impresionó, y me encantó las copas de café! (El café helado de caramelo era encantador también) Tenía la pila de patatas y mi hermana tenía los huevos Benedict, la presentación fue genial y sabía delicioso, estábamos sentados diciendo cómo volveríamos definitivamente de nuevo en otro momento para probar el brunch sin fondo... Antes de irme usé a las damas, y tengo que decir que estaba disgustado. Estaba sucio, había polvo y barro alrededor de los azulejos en el suelo, olía... tan mal... que pensamos que debía ser la papelera sanitaria... La encimera estaba manchada y sucia... realmente no hay excusa para la inmundicia, incluso si la decoración es terrible, especialmente poco después de la apertura. Esto debe hacerse antes de que cualquier miembro del público entre en el local, si hubiera usado los botines antes de ordenar me habría ido. Siempre pienso que los baños representan la limpieza general de un establecimiento como si las áreas en las que el público entra no estuvieran limpias, entonces ¿cómo son las áreas que no usamos? 1 / Gestión - por favor lea a través de sus comentarios en todas las plataformas, tome en consideración ser constantemente empujado hacia arriba en ser lento y grosero, sus clientes estarán encantados de pagar un buen precio por su comida encantadora si puede ordenar el servicio al cliente. Y aquí es donde las reseñas de los clientes se vuelven importantes, como mencioné anteriormente, ¿cómo dijimos que nos gustaría volver para el brunch sin fondo? Después de leer comentarios de servicio lento, personal grosero y bebidas pequeñas, me temo que no voy a volver. ¿Cuántos otros clientes potenciales están haciendo lo mismo? 2 / Los baños. . . . las malas críticas para estos se remontan a hace al menos 3 años, ¿por qué no se hace nada al respecto, no es caro reemplazar una encimera y conseguir que alguien limpie. . . En general, tiene una ubicación de negocios encantadora, una decoración maravillosa (exc. baños) y la comida / presentación más deliciosa ... por favor, no desperdicie lo que era su sueño de negocio decepcionándose en las mismas áreas repetidamente ... He dado 4 estrellas ya que la comida era deliciosa y el miembro del personal que nos sirve era realmente encantador, sin embargo, he dejado mi reseña honesta completa para que la gente decida por sí misma.

Un desayuno realmente encantador, sentado fuera en el sol. Comida de alta calidad y un montón de opciones. Porciones muy generosas.

Las tortitas son perfectas, esponjosas y bien cocinadas con tan buen sabor. El chocolate blanco y el arándano eran preciosos! La tostada francesa también está muy buena. También un servicio encantador en general : )

Los dos pedimos un sándwich tostado de jamón y queso con patatas fritas y dos cafés. Los sándwiches eran grasientos y no comestibles con un aroma no muy agradable de aceite de cocina malo. Desperdicio de £ 27 (incluido el cargo por servicio) Baños desaliñados y decoración de bar.

The food was great. The service was friendly. The coffee was amazing. It was reasonably priced. I liked it a lot and hope to come back sometime soon. The music was a bit overwhelming for lunchtime, but I do get that that's the vibe they're going for. Wouldn't put me off though.

Went for cocktails for my husbands bday, around 1/2 pm, already serving 241! We loved it, the attention was amazing and the cocktails where awesome! Amazing vibes, amazing staff, just amazing place, we can’t wait to come back to Southampton and visit XoXo!

Really great breakfast! Had steak and eggs, veggie breakfast and pancakes. The most delicious pancakes we have EVER eaten! All served quickly and with great service. The coffee is fantastic too. would recommend!

Complete waste of time and money! Waited 30mins for our first drink, the drinks came and tasted just like pure pineapple juice. One of the waitresses was really rude! The toilets were grotty. Essentially i paid £32 for a bacon sandwich with chips and some pure pineapple juice! Complete rip off!

Arriving at 2pm we didn’t get our first drink until 2.35!! The server was absolutely lovely. However another waitress was very rude and made us feel like walking out within the first 15 mins. On arrival a lovely lady greeted us and showed us to a table. However the table felt as though we were beneath everyone else and very comfortable. We asked if we could be moved to booth seating this waitress allowed us to move and within minutes of getting ourselves comfortable on a new table we was told by another member of staff we was not able to sit there and we had to move I explained the seating wasn’t comfortable, to which this member of staff told us there was nothing she could do about that as another booking was coming In, in 20 minutes. Myself and my friend had been served our food and finished and by time we had left still no one was sat were we had been moved from. This member of staff was very rude and did not have any sort of sympathy at all!! However our original server was more than happy to try and help. However due to what I assume was management, I will not be returning and I will not recommend to friends and family. The cocktails also with 2 selections was not what we expected for £30 per person when the sizes of the cocktails where not up to standard!! Definitely not the best for a bottomless brunch!!

Went for a bottomless brunch, service was awful, took nearly 25 minutes to get a drink, 1 waitress serving 8 tables, toilets were beyond disgusting, worse than public toilets will never visit again

Great service by our server (Levi) and the bartender (didn’t get a name) He was very attentive and had great knowledge of the menu with some great recommendations (French toast was amazing!) The coffee was also top notch, not bitter and tasted balanced! Great decor, could do with some more lighting but for a quick easy Sunday lunch, a great spot to go too!!

Xoxo used to be our regular breakfast/brunch spot when they were at Bedford Place but we were putting it off since it moved to the busier Oxford St. We were wrong. Standards stand the same, for both service and food. It’s a cozy, welcoming atmosphere with great food to go along with it. After 6 visits, still a favourite! Love you guys!

We had a impromptu lunch here. Everything on the menu looked amazing - We had the fish finger sandwich which was a huge delicious triple decker. The coffee was fantastic and the staff friendly and helpful but not intrusive. Would definitely recommend.

Visit number 5. Still our favourite breaky/brunch spot in Southampton! Hands down, by miles. To get something this good we would drive down to Winchester. The coffee is fantastic, the service is very friendly and sometimes quite quick, and the food… we gone thru the whole menu already and there’s not a bad option there. Even the vegan stuff is good.
