Came here for drinks and ordered "Potato chips, harissa dip" ahead of dinner. What arrived were salt and vinegar *crisps* with a little dipping bowl of harissa and sour cream. When I asked the staff about it they tried gaslight me into accepting crisps are chips. Not in the UK they aren't! Also why would you pair flavoured dip with strongly flavoured crisps?! The whole experience left us with a bad taste in our mouths, literally and figuratively. We went around the corner to another pub that did generous portions of the food described on their menu at reasonable prices. I cannot recommend the Fox & Finch for food, service, or value for money.

Visited here in December with a friend, the service was fabulous we had a great friendly waitress who was very knowledgeable about the GF range. I went for the fish curry and it was delicious and a great size too, we dint have any puddings as the main courses filled us both up. I can highly recommend the Malbec, great value & location. Have already arranged with friends to visit again in Feb.

Myself and my wife made our first re-visit of the year today and it was great ….. garden looked lovely and the mill stream was pushing through at some pace ….. you can sit right next to it and enjoy a drink and a good meal while watching the dragon flies chase each other up and down the river ….. the food was good and we chose the Monday night special consisting of 6oz burgers in a bun, chips, coleslaw and onion rings all for ……… £18, now that’s a great price for a couple and we both enjoyed the food ….. get there early if it’s sunny as the garden is very popular esp if you want one of the river tables …. M&G of Chertsey - 20th May 2024 …..

Terrace ambiance pleasant. Several interesting dishes albeit the nibbles and one starter would have been more enjoyable with better attention to details, including sufficient volume of the key content. Mains and sweets were very good/pleasant. A disconnect between the menu and drinks ordering possibly an "evening off" and/or easily remedied, and whilst irritating didn't spoil the visit.

The pub was celebrating it's 2nd birthday with the present owners and it was an amazing day. They really made everyone feel welcone and laid on a hog roast and a band. It was busy all day. Lots of laughing and smiley faces. Well done Kerry and Alan

A cosy, unspoilt pub serving real ale and competitively priced food! The owners are very friendly too. This was our first visit in which we stopped by for lunch during the Christmas break, but we look forward to returning for dinner in the very near future!

Birthday treat ...the dining room was lovely, staff very attentive, but slightly disappointed with the food. Menu did not explain the dish. Duo of venison with roasted root vegetables etc. duo was 3 very small, thin slices of venison with a suet venison pudding ! A heavy pudding was really not what I expected. As for the roasted root vegetables.....lift up that small slice of venison and there they were ....a thimble full of tiny cubed root veg. If I hadn't ordered a side dish of broccoli I would not have been able to eat most of the dish....and did I mention the 1 blackberry! Sorry but feel the food slightly let the evening down.
