One of their drunk patron came out threatening myself and my autistic son to move my car out of parking space. He then got into his car parked on a pavement and then blocked me in. He then threatened to burn the mosque down which I came out of. The police and landlord was more bothered about where I was parking my car so his drink driving patron could park there then drive home after getting more drunk. The landlord also defaced my car with lipstick. If the next drink driving victim family want to blame the drunk they should also blame the landlord that clearly over serves them

Went In here after Wetherspoons for a few games of pool. Had about 2 beers that actually made me puke my guts up when I got home and I didn’t even have a lot to drink. The locals where absolutely vile, not a good atmosphere.

Buena camarera

Visited Friday 18/3/16 and Saturday 19/3/16 evenings. Friday was for karaoke, apparently that's on twice monthly. Two security guards outside, oh-oh, and quite a few patrons pissed already (2030!).Selection of real ales, i tried two and they were nice. My other half had Bacardi, which tasted of generic copy (cheap nasty) white rum despite complaints to barmaids, who united in their claims it was Bacardi (it definitely wasn't the mixer that was wrong, unless the can of apparently genuine Coke opened in front of us was fake!). Guess someone's enhancing their profit margin or wages. Karaoke was okay but catered for the younger end of the market. A shouty man was relocated to another part of the pub by security but unsurprisingly went on to return and a violent scene ensued, apparently vs his ex-gf, before he was ejected and banned (which he should have been in the first place!), but there was no charge for this additional entertainment. We returned Saturday night to see live-act Chicago 9, who were quite good. But pub pretty empty for a Saturday and the poor guys were playing to about twenty people. Bacardi problem persisted. Will not return.

You have the double JJ across the road from here which is cheaper for beer . But a better atmosphere in here with less low life's , The would famous buns are worth a visit alone lovely fillings and lovely taste . The big guy behind the bar is a legend . One special note - avoid this place on Pompey matchdays this and the Fratton Road area in genera is like a scene out of Green Street .

Its a Pompey Pub aswell... and apparently Home Fans only on match days! (I wouldnt want to go in as an away fan haha) What a pub.. this is what Britain is missing!! Top traditional boozers your grandad would of been proud to have a drink in! All hail the Froddy

Not a bad little boozer. Better than most in the area to be honest. Good cheap grub, nice ale, clean with pleasant staff. Only draw back is they seem to open when they can be bothered. So as is implied by the heading. Don't set your watch by them

It was a Sunday and really nice weather but nearly 3pm I didn't want to go to wetherspoons (McDonald's of the pub world) but wanted to eat! Anyway I saw this place and in I went, friendly barmaid-she said they're improving the menu and food next week (more homemade dishes i think) It was all priced well and decent portions but was very friendly-they had a dj who saw the badges I was wearing (mr clean-a good jam tribute band) and played some stuff he could tell I'd like! Having a chat it seems they have some good bands lined up too.

Visited a few of the Portsmouth Pubs venues such as The Froddington Arms, The Old House at Home, The Invincible and The Froddington Arms and was greeted with warmth and hospitality! Great Pubs offering live music and disco and karaoke and on top of that great food and drink

A large Pompey Pub with plenty of space around the bar. Having new management is attracting Pompey fans on match days, so boosting business. Pool table and darts board, outside space. Located near to Fratton Bridge, railway station and a short walk from fratton Park Football Ground. Does serve food but just drinks taken on this occasion.

I had a lovely stay in the rooms above the pub, which had a charming vintage vibe. My en suite room was cozy and well-equipped, with tea and coffee facilities and an electric kettle. The room and the laundry were clean and smelled amazing, which was a pleasant surprise. The key box system for accessing the room was a very modern and convenient solution, though finding the entrance for the first time was a bit confusing as there’s no reception. There’s also a communal kitchen with a fridge, which was great for preparing and storing meals. The highlight was the stunning beach view from our window—so relaxing! I also had a chance to meet some staff members, and they were incredibly helpful and kind. While no food was included, the location is perfect—just a short walk to Palmerston Road, where you can find a wide variety of restaurants. Overall, it was a great experience!

Stayed 3 nights in February. Thought I was getting a bargain based on the comments, but turns out I was getting almost what I paid for. It's not a gastropub, they weren't doing dinners, and if you paid for breakfast you had to get it from a pub a few doors down. This may be seasonal but nothing said as such. The room was pretty stark without even a bedside lamp. Unfortunately it was also freezing cold with a tiny supplementary space heater that was way too small, the thinnest doonah I've seen and no extra blankets. I had a few drinks in the bar one night, but it was cold there too, so I gave it a miss after that. On the upside, the bathroom was huge, there was lashings of hot water, big fluffy towels and a nice view. It might have been worth what I paid otherwise, but nothing makes up for a night where it's too cold to sleep
