Attached to the Vineries Garden Centre. We visited this coffee shop, which overall in our opinion was below par. Uncomfortable seating and a very basic layout. The service was robotic. Coffee was OK but the cakes were poor and vastly overpriced.Overall it did not float our boat.We wished we had given it a miss

My son and I enjoyed a welcome stop off at the Vineries Coffee shop. The food was very good indeed. Hand sanitiser was available on entry which we used and we put on our masks to go in as it is sited within the garden store. Nobody else was wearing a mask. We removed ours to eat. Only one person could go to the counter to order and everything was then brought to our table which was fine. However the young ladies serving were not wearing masks or gloves. I noted that when people left only the top of the table was sanitised, not the chairs nor the underside edge of the table. A young lady was sanitising the trays, again not the undersides or edges bit where people's hands fold under to hold the tray. Then I spotted that the two ladies in the kitchen area which is extremely small were not wearing masks or gloves and one of them was in the process of prepping somebody's food order. I will not be going back there until such time as the virus is under complete control.

as there is plenty of parking and it's open all day. Papers to read, plants to come with, they welcome the dog at some tables, and the coffee and poached eggs are good!

Nice cafe and the coffee is fine (not exceptional) but £2.60 for a small cappuccino is unjustifiable. It's cheaper in central London.

Stopped to buy plants for family grave visits as this nursery is good value. The lunch we had was possibly a little pricey but the food was well prepared and tasty. The coffee was not burnt and the large cups were large, not tall and narrow mugs which is a common scam in some establishments. Food was prepared fresh, which meant a slightly longer wait but this was not a problem. Waiting staff were friendly and without scripted cheeriness. We will return and this is very convenient for our regular trips to the area.

I come here often with my boyfriend and mum. The food here is really really nice, always go for a panini and they're lovely and tasty. Hot chocolate here is to die for, it's my favourite. People who work here are lovely and friendly and make you feel at home

We were booked in for a birthday tea specially, even though they weren't doing teas that week. When we arrived a lovely big table with white tablecloth and napkins was ready for us. We were offered coffee and tea, which came promptly, followed by a plate of hot snacks and a cake stand containing a mouth-watering selection, including egg mayonnaise, coronation chicken and cheese and ham sandwiches. The bread was beautifully soft, with the crusts cut off. In addition were warm scones with jam and clotted cream, topped off by a selection of mini cakes. We were so full we had to take the cakes home! Thank you to Penny, who took such good care of us, and the other members of staff who made us feel very special.

Went to watch the Scotland v England Rugby game. Very well looked after and a great place for sport. Great food and a good selection of ales including those from the Dorking brewery. Try the Nachos!
