Website and outside opening times require updating, arrived at 1:15pm to be fobbed off with rude gesture by a member of staff inside. When putting 2 fingers up (possibly to indicate either ‘i’ll be with you in 2 minutes’ or ‘we open at 2’, please make sure you point your fingers the correct way round. This did not leave a friendly tone.

Bounced about town before our ears found this place. Smiling bouncer, bumping lovely dancefloor and a DJ that is mixing for fun and for the crowd. Diverse crowd, seemingly 21+. UK garage and more on the day and everyone being friendly and having fun. Pints reasonably priced. No entry fee. Packed dancefloor but space to dance and have fun. Nothing inappropriate going on. Gem.

Bed and breakfast package at Leeds Castle. On the night of arrival we took the opportunity to eat in the Castle View restaurant. It did disappoint. Service was good. (We wanted to tip they can only take cash tips - Leeds Castle- you need to sort this out, not fair on your restaurant staff). Food was great. Both had pork belly main. Cutlery & glasses nice and clean. Good wine menu. Nice atmosphere with views onto the castle. Ate elsewhere the second night and wished we had another meal here. We had an amazing experience on Easter Sunday. The food was absolutely phenomenal and the service was fantastic! Our server Cheryl went above and beyond for us. Lovely lady! We will be back!

Had lunch and dinner here this week as big parties celebrating a wedding anniversary and birthday. Both fantastic meals and atmosphere, really enjoyed our time here clearly as we keep coming back. Special thank you to manger Abi who has helped me with special requests regarding big tables and lovely manner and conversation. Lily who has been very attentive and worked hard clearing tables when everyone is done not just leaving it, and straight back serving everyone at the bar as well, again lovely conversation. Also another shout out to a lady behind the bar who has been so amazing regarding the allegories we have had in our party making sure she is checking every product and going out her way without even asking. Amazing staff you have just a shame I didn’t get her name. Thank you all for such lovely service and for going out your way for us all!

Harveys please sort out the Bricklayers and get ot back to what it used to be. Friday nights used to be buzzing, on this visit it was dire with just a loud boozy bunch of middle aged men blocking the bar and the rest of the pub not surprisingly empty. The interior which doesnt get much natural light is now really dingy after being painted entire!y in a very dark bottle green, almost black, with miserable lighting. Please Harveys sort it out, lighten up the interior with some pale light decor and update the lighting to create some atmosphere! A gentleman offered us his window seat saying if you sit here you'll be able to see your food!

Great food and outstanding service. Very friendly and good value for money. This place is a real gem tucked away in the Buckinghamshire countryside.

Had a last minute pub lunch recently and we regularly choose to visit this pub due to great choice, fair prices and a warm and friendly atmosphere and attentive staff. Have toys available for toddlers to entertain whilst waiting for food and a safe area in which they can play. As always their attention to detail regarding cleanliness is impeccable and Katherine their cleaner is second to none ensuring it's a clean and safe place for all

Grandson's birthday lunch. Food was excellent but the service was brilliant Rob was friendly, fun and very helpful. Maria always makes us welcome and has a smile and a chat with us every time we visit.

Really good food, well priced, some great service from Karol. Felt like the food was made with care which is commonly not the case in alot of establishments.

We love 3 hours away but we love coming here once a year for a hike. The food is always delicious. Yes it’s a little bit pricey but for the location and the atmosphere I am happy to pay that little bit more. They have heaters and blankets outside which was a nice touch. Thank you.
