We chose this restaurant as it was situated next door to our accommodation and came highly recommended by our hosts. We were pleasantly surprised at how good it was. The staff were very pleasant, the food delicious and the portions generous.

Had a takeaway from here recently and it was awful. The rice was yellow pilau rice and clumped together in lumps! The poppadoms were stale! The red onion was NOT red onion! The Bombay Aloo was overcooked with the potatoes soft! The peshwari naan was disgusting and again seemed stale and difficult to chew! Instead of lovely flaked coconut inside the naan it was a yellow paste with hardly any flavour! The mango chutney was runny and the mint yoghurt had little flavour! The salad was a pathetic little bag of ??? which was barely a tablespoon in size! Some of the king prawns in the curry went to mush in the mouth so not eaten! There was more tomato than lamb in the rogan! Altogether a disaster which will NOT be repeated.

Had a fabulous dinner outside - it's all authentic Indian food cooked on the premises, compliments to the chef! The staff were wonderful, very helpful explaining the menu. Can highly recommend!

Booked to eat here whilst staying at nearby B&B. Staff were friendly The food was delicious & served hot. I'm a bit boring, don't really like anything too spicy so tend to have a biryani. Best biryani I've had in a long time .

The food here is very nice and not too expensive. We have now been there three times. First time we went, the place had just been decorated and looked very clean and tidy. It is now starting to look a bit tired, shabby and not particularly clean in some areas. It looks like it could do with a good deep clean rather than a superficial tidy and a coat of paint here and there wouldn't go a miss. However, as already said, the food is good, as is the service.

We had not been to The Bell at Beachampton and we were very pleasantly surprised. It is a lovely period building and there is plenty of parking. As we entered, there was a pleasant ambience about the place. There were comfortable leather sofas where we could sit, have a pre luncheon drink and view the menu. The dining room was light and airy, however, I will just add that the tables seemed to be very close together. The menu was very comprehensive and we were this restaurant. We look forward to our next visit.spoilt for choice. Each course, when it arrived, was well presented and delicious. My husband and I would have no hesitation in recommending The Bell, but would say it is advisable to book.
