What a welcome addition to Chalfont St Peter where you can get authentic Indian Food. The current crop of 3 restaurants in Chalfont St Peter are incorrectly named as Indian - they are Bangladeshi which is NOT INDIAN This saves us going outside the area for proper Indian food and boosts out own local economy We have told all the indian diaspora we know in the area to make sure it is a success and they are here to stay as running a restaurant these days is economically difficult

The food was good, and I would have given four stars, but I have knocked one off for the dirty floor in the restaurant. No excuse for that. Should have been properly cleaned between lunch and evening service. And the problem extends beyond this, if this low standard of cleanliness is apparent in the restaurant, what's the state of the kitchen?

Absolutely amazing food! Staff were all lovely and friendly and attentive. We’d been on holiday in the area for over a week and really disappointed with everywhere else we visited but then found this beauty. Honestly, 100% recommend! Just wish we’d found it sooner as we’d of gone back multiple times in the week!

Booked for the Christmas Special & off the Menu too. All arrived in a timely manner. But we did have dietary requirements, of which every single one was meet. Although we reminded our waitress there was no need to, the chef/kitchen had that all under control. Have been here a few times, friendly service & good standard of food will encourage me back. Great place for a pint & something to eat, and room for groups. All of us in our group agreed, food was enjoyable, the selection of a generous bowl of vegetables was also served, no waiting for each other, nicely cooked.

(Hi I used to come here when I was little and loved it) the service could be better please Maybe smile? Engage with customers ask them how they are if they’ve tried your food before? Recommend something good? Offer them a tray? But unfortunately today.. I went with a friend, I hadn’t been there before - since it moved (I have adhd so I find it hard to focus when it’s a busy environment or noisy or having a busy day myself) Long story short I didn’t get a chance to look at their menu, I had about three members of staff trying to talk to me at once which was very overwhelming for me, i was literally to and from .. no one was trying to help me they could see I was overwhelmed.. I chose my meal and I was spoken to as if I didn’t know how to purchase something? “oh it’s extra for the potatoes! If you want it with soup” well I wouldn’t expect it for free .. and most cafes do offer free bread rolls with your soup? But I understand if it’s extra for one … the soup had no flavour at all I couldn’t taste the tomato it’s very displeasing, it was cold The potatoes were nice but quite hard in the middle .. definitely Not worth £15 .. at all I won’t be coming back here again I went and got cutlery I was just looking at the sachets to see what they were and the lady jumped in and went “oh each sachet is 15p!” What next charging me 10p to breathe ?? Every little thing they charged you for what next 5p per napkin ?! Is literally how it feeling being here today .. not welcoming at all! This happened in the large / main building I felt picked at

We have visited The George many times previously before the change to a Steakhouse and have always had fabulous food and excellent service, however the change to a Steakhouse has taken the experience to an even greater level, I had a fillet steak, my goodness it was absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection, then indulged in the churros as my desert my oh my, yummy. The whole team who looked after us could not have been more attentive or happier, it really was a fantastic evening and I really can't wait to return. Thank you for such a lovely time.

We had Christmas lunch today at the Jovial sailor.The food was lovely,beautifully presented,hot and very generous portions.There was a roaring real fire to keep us warm,the waiting staff were young,happy and hard working.Well done. to kitchen staff,we thoroughly enjoyed.

Sean, Ness and their team looked after our group of 13 couples superbly. We had exclusive use of the garden marquee for 3 hours from 1pm on a Saturday afternoon. No deposit or pre-ordering required, we just ordered from the regular pub menu. Good food served efficiently in a cheerful manner.

Back in October I booked a stay for December. I used the Bacon Arms website and paid in full. Less than a week before my stay I received a cancellation email with no information as to why my stay had been cancelled. I called and was told the place was overbooked but that I would get my refund within a week. It's been more than a month now and despite several calls I have not received my money back. It's a shame as I've stayed here before without any issues. Customer service has been really poor as well. Don't risk being left out of pocket.
