Horrendous attitude from the staff. Managed to get my food order wrong then argued with me about it. Food cold.

Great service great food and atmosphere had a really great time with the family booking was easy the staff were great ensuring that everything was perfect

The Prawns in garlic butter were amazing. Thoroughly enjoyed them 🙂 The staff were also very friendly and attentive.

Been using the pub as a working space for the past week and they’ve been absolutely fantastic, I was provided with somewhere to charge my laptop throughout and the day and was served some brilliant food, the breakfast carvery comes with fresh eggs with a perfect runny told, I’d happily reccomend to anyone in the area

Booked it for a celebration for Nephew's birthday it was very busy. Loved the atmosphere and food but it was extremely busy on a lovely Sunday evening even at 6:30 pm. Loads of customers so service was a little slow however it did not ruin the food or the experience at this pub restaurant. One advice I would give beforehand is to book a table in advance just because it's very busy on most evenings and you don't want to be disappointed.

Superb Sunday lunch. Excellent choice of starters. Bottomless veg and gravy. Good sized portions. Nice variety of puddings. Excellent, attentive staff.

We had a great new year's eve here with our friends. Thank you to all the staff at the Master Mariner for making it happen.

We can't fault anything!!everything was brilliant! We loved the breakfast, we loved the Rye Bread and all the options available. Your members of staff especially Naketa were nothing short of excellent! I hope they get recognition for the hard work they do.

An impromptu visit on a Wednesday with family who had never been to the Trigger Pond before and it was perfect timing - 2 for 1 burger night! The portions were very generous and perfectly cooked (the chips are particularly amazing). Special mention to Tyler who gave us faultless service - attentive, courteous and charming. We heard another table complimenting him too. A real credit to the pub. Thanks for a lovely meal!

A good place for lunch. Comfortable surroundings. Good food and pleasant atmosphere. Attentive and professional ervice. Easy parking.

We chose The George pub for my daughter’s baby shower yesterday as we had visited for a roast dinner previously and it was so delicious. Our event went so well and everyone loved the buffet food served in the Hop House event room by such attentive staff. Big thank you to Kam and her team for delivering a fantastic service and venue for the Baby Shower.

Amazing food - Great service! Nibbles and starters extremely good and beautifully presented. Lovely pub with good atmosphere.

Dropped in for lunch on way back from a day out. We hadn’t booked, but were seated swiftly in the garden. Can honestly say this is one of the best pizzas I have ever eaten, and I have had a lot of pizza! Salad and fries also lovely and fresh. Even though it’s a 40 minute drive from our house, we will visit again just for the pizza!
