Criminal prices for what you get. Food was subpar and the atmosphere was dull at best and depressing at worst. Staff were unfriendly. Glad I didn’t take the kids.

Some of the worst food I have ever had the dis-service of eating. Food took far too long to arrive and was absolutely not worth the price for how poor quality the crepes were. They ruined my son’s evening! Don’t waste your time or money here, they should’ve stayed closed!

Went to Maidstone creams today spent £55 for daughter’s birthday .Had to listen to two 14 year olds on another table on the phone swearing and shouting and eating Greggs . Spoke to manager who spoke to them and pointed at me that I had asked him to talk to them ! Terrible terrible management skills ! Needless to say girls continued swearing spoke to manager again who denied he had pointed at me and said he couldn’t aske them to leave even though they had spent no money in creams unlike myself. He then walked away whilst I was talking and hid in his office . I will never ever step foot in a creams again such terrible management ! If this place survives it will be a miracle

Went with some friends for lunch a few days ago, When we first entered the atmosphere was nice, When we ordered food took a long time to arrive - i ordered nachos and they arrived in half an hour - compared to some friends who ordered after me and got theirs first. When the order did arrive, it was not only wrong, but my drinks - free, some bottles of water - were missing. When i went to the counter to ask about it not only did a friend and i wait for 10+ minutes (before giving up) we were also flat our ignored the entire time despite speaking up many times. Food was decent, service was not. Do better.

If you're into fast service and food that makes you question your life choices, Creams in Maidstone is the comedy show of the century! We got what we ordered in record time, but the cookie dough was so dry, I think I’d have preferred a nice helping of beach sand instead. At least sand doesn’t pretend to be dessert! As for the spiced cherry loaded shake... well, I didn’t realise I was paying for my own vomit in a cup. A bold business model, really. We almost started jumping up to warn anyone who entered to turn around and save themselves. 10/10 would recommend... to my worst enemy. (I'm writing my review in the Creams Maidstone as I felt it was urgent to alert people of the disaster which was our food. As I write this another couple has fallen victim to Creams). - unhappy Hana.

Received someone else’s order!!! I ordered through Just Eat and I received someone else’s Deliveroo order, which even had customers name written on it! When I rung the restaurant and explained the situation the woman kept hanging the phone up on me, then I got through to a man who said there’s nothing they can do but if I order again I will receive a free item, I asked for my food to be resent out and they refused and the man ended up hanging the phone up on me. I asked for the staff members name so I could make a formal complaint and the response was “don’t know”. So I didn’t receive my food tonight due to staff members cock up! I feel sorry for the other person as they ordered £30 worth of food. Mistakes like this shouldn’t be happening especially as you’re only been reopened for a week..

Very poor service, staff do not know what they're doing. I have a feeling this place will not last not sure why they even opened again. I would advise the owner to stop asking family members to stop leaving 5 star fake reviews as you can see below as this place is defintelt not even 1 star council needs to close it down funny how it opened and all the 5 star reviews from family members who live almost 200 miles away cause yeh I'd come 200 miles to try a new creams what jokers...

Absolutely disappointed hade today, 3 people in and they managed to mess up orders

Reopened this weekend after a few years of being closed. I ordered 2 crepes and by far it was the worst Creams I’ve ever had - Chatham Dockside is far better and given the standards of this Creams, I think the drive to Chatham is worthwhile if you want a proper Creams. Ordered 1 ‘Strawberry Chocolate Indulgence’ crepe, which probably only had 1 whole strawberry chopped up, insulting to charge £10 for. (Pictured) Other Creams are by far more generous with the toppings for the same price. The other crepe ordered was a ‘Cookie crush’ crepe and normally it is bits of broken cookie on top but for some odd reason this Creams put burnt cookie dough on the top? (pictured) I’ve also attached a photo of what the cookie crush crepe normally looks like and as advertised on their website (pictured). Circle wafer biscuit on both crepes were stale. I’d suggest the staff take some training at the Chatham dockside store to see how things are done. I can already anticipate the downfall of this Creams store (again) should they not listen to the reviews and change QUICKLY. Looking at other reviews since they’ve reopened it would appear that I’m not the only one who has had a bad experience…

Me and my boyfriend had a lovely night out last night I which we concluded our night with the lovely Creams gelato :) We ordered just eat pick up since they are not open for seating yet. It was done quickly and it was lovely. Thank you Creams!

I recently ordered an Oreo waffle from creams and I LOVED it ! There has definitely been a change in management since I last visited. The toppings are more generous and laid out beautifully :) delivery was quick and food came just as ordered. Thank you creams :)

Ordered an Oreo and white chocolate waffle and it was PERFECT!! There were so many toppings 🤤🤤🤤 not stingy at all! Completely satisfied my late night sweet cravings!

Under new management creams seem to be amazing! Back to the old creams standard and soon to be top of deserts in Maidstone I believe. We ordered through deliveroo and the food was perfectly cooked and I thought very generous, would definitely order again

absolutely shocked by how much the place has changed! The food is absolute top quality and staff are incredible. I highly recommend the Sticky Banoffee cookie dough! The restaurant has definitely been taken over by new management as the atmosphere is so welcoming! I will be returning more often!

Travelled really well, super delicious, will definitely be back again! I'm guessing they've had new management since the other reviews?? Because I had a great experience. Very quick as well.

Absolutely disgusting 🤮 came with a hair in and I rang them and they did not care and said nothing they can do about it won't ever order or go to Maidstone again !

Staff was rude and then made us pay £7.50 for a waffle with just banana and strawberry on which should have been £5.50 according to website then made us pay extra £2.50 for a scope of vanilla ice cream which should have came with the waffle. Always go to creams but first time to maidstone and will never be going back.

Firstly within google search the restaurant is labelled closed, although you can still order via deliveroo and just-eat, which a little suspect, as it makes it harder to get the word out to the people that the restaurant has gone down hill. The last two times i have ordered, once through just eat and other deliveroo, the quality control has been terrible, one time there were no toppings or icecream, the second time I was sent a milkshake with banana in it although I have an extreme allergy to it. If I were someone that has a nut allergy I would steer away from this place. In fact, even if you have an allergy to fish I would stay away lol. On a serious note, avoid. There is another desert restaurant called puddo in Maidstone, I will try that next time. Creams is too hyped up and lacks quality.

This very ‘little’ lot cost £40!!! ordered via deliveroo And never again! The portions where not enough to feed a small toddler this was for 4 grown adults! No appologies or help from creams even Leigh Matthews operations manager fobbed us off with ‘going to take my time to investigate this matter’ then never replied its been almost a month with no reply to any further emails! Disgusting service and total rip off!! Can’t even get through on the phone as not connected says it all! Not the creams we used to love to visit now total rip off merchants Please please be warned I’m not the only one who has complained! All I requested was partial refund to reflect the cost of what we thought the food was worth (orange and hands for size reference) most of the portions you see in pics was between £8 & £12!! please please don’t get ripped of like we did it’s really no about the money more the fact that they can just blatantly ignore any complaints! I am aware of trading standards and weights and measures so I will be reporting it to them as they should not be able to get away with this! Absolutely avoid! You have been warned!

Wanted to go for my sisters birthday DM'd the official creams page a few days ago and got advised this was open for eat in as they do not do delivery- tried calling the store before hand and the number just rang out no answer -got to the store and was closed- not good at all- Also on google/online states the store is open like normal !! Update your details online if you are not open as people will waste journeys going - also post on your social media as you do not upload !!

Always friendly staff who are great with my young son. Nice place for families. The ice cream is good too which helps!

I didn't like this place as I thought the hygiene was quite poor and I also thought the vanilla ice cream had a strange after taste to it as well.

Been there a few times in past, enjoyed the food but last visit 22/2/20, I ordered 5 different ice creams or crepes, one for me, bro and nephew and nieces. Girl took my order at the till, put my order down as a Crepes Royale rather than Creams Royale which I wanted, I didn't know the name of the Crepes with strawberry and chocolate drizzle as it's for my niece because she chosed and the girl who took my order got confused which led me to accidentally order chocolate fudge for bro rather the cookie dough gelato and bro asked me if the girl repeated my order, no she didn't. Luckily couple of the staff are very helpful and understanding because of the confusion and gave me the cookie dough gelato but I want too fussed as she got my down as crepes royales than the creams royale.

Took my children for an ice cream on Thursday (20th feb) in half term. Was told when I ordered that they were busy and the wait would be 15-20 minutes which I accepted. The wait was actually 35 minutes and they had run out of most cutlery and serviettes. I asked the waitress for serviettes which she said she would bring but never did. There were lots of very unhappy people in the restaurant and I could see that the (3) members of staff were extremely over worked. It wasn’t really their fault but with one person in charge of making every order it was never going to be any quicker. Absolutely shocking that I’m half term they didn’t at least have two members of staff preparing orders. Won’t be visiting again, the food is nice but may as well go to a proper restaurant if you are going to wait 35 minutes.

I ordered waffle with my sauce. Years ago I used to order the banoffee waffle and it was simply perfect. As time went on they started SMOTHERING it in their creams nutella instead of chocolate flakes not only changing the flavour but dominating the meal. I ordered simple pancakes for a long time after, yet today I decided to give the waffle another go seeing as the photo on Deliveroo looks so well proportioned. Nope, nope and so much nope! Even after trying to scrape off the glaze of nutella (to which my waffle was going cold) it still just tastes like a tub of nutella over any other flavour. You have been warned and note to self...never again!

Ordered delivery from creams maidstone the banana and strawberry with chocolate crep was undercooked the cookie dough was slighly undercooked will ala in all had about 2 bites of each and could not eat anymore. Will not be back

Same standard creams food as all the other creams I have visited in the Kent area. The only difference is the unbelivably friendly customer service from Josh. Very helpful on the phone and really kind in person too. He was very quick to serve me and did it all with a smile. Hope he gets recognised for being a good member of the team

Big portions, fast, friendly service!

Our children enjoy it as a once-in-a-while treat, but it is quite expensive for what you get. The staff are usually very friendly, and the interior has been kitted out with neon lights, glittery mirrors, etc. I like the hot n cold chocolate volcano sundae, and the apple crumble waffle is also nice. My wife is lactose intolerant and orders from the vegan menu, but this order came out wrong (twice) so I recommend sticking to the main menu if you can - lots of nice stuff on there!

Could do with a lick of paint and a general tidy up, lots of seats with tape on! But the food is great!

A friendly place with lovely ambience in a modern designed place. It is ideal for groups of friends or families with babies as well, it has highchairs and baby changing option too. Positive(s): The foods and drinks/shakes (including all of the components) are all fresh and delicious. The portions are fair enough. The staff is friendly. The dining area is clean. Negative(s): The baby changing facility could be cleaner.

Went to creams with 3 other adults and a child. Nice and clean, lovely decor, great sweet food. Possibly my new fav place in the world!

Waiting for 2x dishes of pancakes for over 20min with nearly empty place. With cappuccino which was like latte. Then the pancake came with nearly green strawberry and little of banana. Overpriced for what you get. Service very slow. They more talk then doing their job. First serve everyone then do what you like.

Even though we got our orders relatively quickly, there was one struggle to get a cup of coffee which had been ordered together with everything else. My mother finished her dessert, and was still waiting for her coffee.We all got our drinks except her. When we asked the waitress she promissed to bring it soon, but we kept waiting, and waiting...And then we had to go and ask again. And, eventually, the coffee has been served. I wonder what was so difficult in making plain americano, because I'm pretty sure making my intricate strawberry milkshake and crepes takes more effort and skills... Therefore you only get 2 stars and advice from me as well: only bring in new customers after you have properly served the exsisting ones, then you won't need to make excuses that you were too busy.

Yummy best place for nice ice cream

Went as a post exam treat. Not overly impressed with the menu selection so went for the create your own, placed our order and was told that they no longer do one of the chosen toppings For the price we paid, I would say it is not value for money. We would not go back, we prefer our local Kaspas.

Very disappointed with the service and attitude received! Apart from the lady who took our order the rest of the team were full of attitude! Refused to accept student discount as they said only accepted on a Tuesday, despite the terms and conditions clearly stipulated it was available mon- Thursday in ALL creams restaurants... the manager agreed to honour it after much debate! Food was ok but way over priced for value for money! The one item was forgotten and we had to ask where it was! When the waitress delivered it to the table she did so by practically throwing it onto the table, went to walk away then as doing so must have remembered to say hope we enjoy our food and did while walking away!!

They dont take bookings any more which is a shame but a lovely lady called Holly agreed to hold a space for us when I phoned up a few days before hand. They really helpfully sealed off a whole area and from ordering to receiving our desserts the servers were kind, knew what was what and really attentive and cheerful. My one and only minor complaint being that they should tell you that you need to get your own cutlery. Other than that it was perfect and the staff couldn't have been more helpful. We arrived at 1pm on a Saturday and we didnt have any long waits, It was my twins birthday and we all had a great time.

Great place. Not cheap but unusual and fun

Can be slightly expensive but great food. Some desserts are very large - so be prepared to eat a lot. Menu is full of sweet items to order and I love to come here often. Serving time can be a little slow at times, but staff are reasonably friendly and cafe is very nicely decorated. Would also recommend for birthdays.

The cafe has really nice ice cream. The staff are really helpful and the presentation of the sundaes were great. I would recommend this place to vegetarians.The only thing that makes this a four is that the air conditioning is on very high so it’s very cold inside.

Love the Scrumptious desserts, it’s honeslty a brilliant place to have ice-cream on a summer hot day. However, the staff does really need working on. My family and I were trying to have a nice time trying to enjoy our desserts, but we had many eyes on us by the workers. As well as, them laughing loudly with customers when some people were trying to eat. But I rate this a 4/5 because I really do think the food is amazingly well made.

We just finished at 7 miles Korean restaurant and had a hankering for some ice cream.Creams cafe was only a few minutes away and looked great.Ordered a mango ice cream sundae type thing as well as a latte to wash it all down.A very large portion of vanilla soft ice cream with mango ice cream and mango sauce was served. It took a while to get through it but I got there in the end.It's not a cheap experience, especially if you took a few kids with you. You could easily end up spending £50 for a few ice creams and coffee but it is an indulgent treat.

Great place to eat dessert, huge range on the menu, only criticism is the Air-conditioning was on full and it got extremely cold, sitting inside.

We visited with 3 children aged 4 years, 8 years and 11 years.Lots of selection on menu,waffles crepes,cookie dough, sundaes, shakes etc. My son ordered a Oreo themed sundae. This consisted of tasteless ice-cream with an Oreo on top with chocolate sauce, not at all like the menu picture! The cookie dough was over cooked and not at all dough like. Waffles were not fresh, very disappointing. Staff are very young, had little knowledge of what was what when serving, spent more time chatting amongst themselves then dealing with customers. Will not be returning, £35 spent on tasteless rubbish.

Ordered my meal through Deliveroo and both deserts didn’t arrive with the side of ice cream, ruined the desert as was dry and would never have ordered if I knew I wouldn’t receive the ice cream, phoned up and received £1.90 refund of a £20 order which myself and my mate had 2bites off, will never order from there again.

Great puds what's not to like and good service

We came here on Saturday afternoon and will for sure not return. There was enough staff present but they lack direction and skill. You order at the bar, but don’t get told to pick up your cutlery. As the food came, the server just answered: “Cutlery is there!” Being my daughters party with her friends it was embarrassing as he did not even know what he tried to serve the girls.

Terrible . I always come her and I absolutely love it but right now just let me down. I ordered a milkshake and it’s always £3 now it was £4.50. I understand must’ve changed the price . However , I ordered cookie dough,take out.Its a tiny portion for £5 it’s half the size of when you order eat in . I’m dissapointed

If you have a sweet tooth, you'll love the food. The setting is a different matter. A bit grubby all round. It must be a nightmare to keep clean given the color choice of the decor and the amount of sugared up kids covered in ice cream running round the place. Seemed under staffed too.

Shocking! We arrived and began to wait. The waitress looked over and finished her conversation before heading over and greet us. No real greeting just a "how many". We had a group of 9 so we required a large table. Both were occupied by only 2 and 3 people. So we headed to the back to 4 split table all with used plates and drinks. We waited, sat and ordered. Loads of options but one of the menus were split in two halves with the center missing. The list goes on with dirty cutlery, missing orders and rude staff telling my other half to move her phone to put the tray down. The food was lovely but the whole experience was a complete let down. Sad on mothers day after a lovely meal in wagamamas.

Having visited before I had promised the kids a treat. Group of 5 of us aged 12 -adult. We ordered fine and drinks arrived within 10 minutes of ordering, however the hot chocolates were not very warm, even allowing for the cream on top. Our food order consisted of a waffle, a piece of lemon cake, a cheesecake and a crepe. The waffle came out 15 mins after the drinks but each other food item was more than 15 mins after the previous. In all it took an hour to receive all four food items. The cheesecake was still completely frozen inside: couldn’t even cut into it. When I asked for a replacement, the same piece was evidently just taken off the plate and shoved in the microwave. It still wasn’t fully defrosted. The lemon cake was not fully cooked through, being a mixture of properly baked and underdone mixture. The crepe was cold when it finally arrived but we were so disheartened by this point that we gave up. We are not a fussy group and are accomplished bakers. Nobody was able to clear their plate. All in all a very disappointing visit. I am happy to pay for good quality food. This wasn’t. We will not be in a hurry to return.

We ordered for delivery today and it took them two hours to call us to tell us they didnt have any drivers to deliver our deserts. Will not being using creams again.

I went to creams on Sunday 27/1/19 with my family. I have coeliac disease so have to have a gluten free diet. I try as much as possible to research establishments before I go there. On the website it stated that the chocolate brownie was GF. At point of ordering I asked them to make a note of it being a GF order. The girl who served me said she would double check with the manager. She came back and said it wasn't the brownie that was GF but the chocolate fudge cake! I asked to speak to the manager directly and pointed out that both their website and menus stated that the brownie was the GF option. She admitted she didn't know! Absolute farce! She and the other staff stated that they had not had ANY allergen training! With all the ill press lately I'm disgusted. I did make a complaint through the creams website on their cotact us page, as requested by the manager as "I would be doing her a favour!", but have had no response. No customer service at all. Moral of the story, DON'T GO TO CREAMS IF YOU DON'T WANT TO BE POISONED! All the other orders for the rest of the party were pretty awful too. Paid nearly £40 for 2 abysmal cookie dough sundaes, a waffle and 4 drinkd! Overpriced rubbish. Will not be gracing them again! And certainly cannot recommend their customer service!
