Proper, honest food with big servings! Pet friendly on the bar side. Eclectic decor which adds to its charm. Would definitely return!

Absolutely awful! We went there a few weeks ago we had a table of ten, when we walked in there were three members of staff behind the bar and not one of them looked up or acknowledged us for several minutes, then when the rest of our party arrived it took 10 minutes for our server to come over to us to take a drinks order which then took another 15 minutes to arrive, another 20 minutes later then come over to take the food order, it was Sunday and most of us ordered the roast, there was a choice of three lots of meat pork, beef and lamb, all £18.95 or pork and beef for £25.95 (prices not 100% sure) when asked if we could swap the pork for lamb there said it would be an extra £4, the food then took 30 minutes to come out despite not being told there was a wait time and we had 2 young children with us. When the food arrived it was barely warm and the meat was dried out. We then asked for some more drinks, when they arrived the server put down the tray at the end of the table and took one drink off then moved it round to the side of the table and knocked the remaining 5 pints of drinks over the table and most of us including the children, one of the meals and our phones and belongings, the girl picked up they tray and come back with a roll of blue roll paper which she put on the end of the table then walked off, expecting us to clean it all up ourselves with no apology given, 5 minutes later another member of staff come over to say they would bring some more drinks over to replace them free of charge but only brought over 3 drinks despite 5 being spilt. After that 3 of us ordered puddings and when asked if we could swap cream for ice cream with one of them we were told it would be £2 extra. Overall since it has been taken over and there is new management, the staff were rude, unprofessional and at no point were we given an apology, the food was very basic and cold and the wait time was ridiculous, everything was an extra add on. It’s a shame as it use to be one of our favourite places to eat, especially with large groups, however we will not be going back. We called afterwards and asked to speak to a manager and he said he would have a word with the staff again no apology given, awful.

Food - out of this world. As a table next to us said “Dream food” and I agree with this statement! Service- outsourcing. Server was welcoming, knowledgeable, extremely helpful but not interfering. Visiting Margate this place is must to go and reservation recommended. We were lucky to get a table. Can tell this place is very popular and I myself will definitely going to come back.

After stumbling upon this lovely place in October 2024 when we in Guildford we knew we would have to come back. Here we are again in 2025 this time we booked ahead for family of 4 and we were not disappointed. Once again food was fabulous, we tried more of the menu every dish as tasty as the one before . Even though the restaurant was busy the service was impeccable and staff friendly . What more could you ask for. We will definitely be back next time we are in Guildford. Highly recommend this wonderful restaurant.

Delicious food with great seasoning. We had the set meal for two which was excellent value for money and enough for leftovers.

We had a great meal and the lamb shank which my friend and had was so so good. It just fell off the bone! The service was excellent, which all went to say we had a great lunch out.

We just finished our dinner for the third night in a row from Tuk Tuk - it was delicious, as were the two previous nights. We will definitely be returning as the food is amazing and plentiful, at a great price and the staff are super helpful and friendly. We love this place!!!

Good food, large portions, Nice people and fair prices.

Booked a large table for Sunday lunch for my mums birthday. Staff went above and beyond to accommodate us and make sure we had great meal. Food and service were both fantastic. Thank you so much we will all definitely be back

Superb food and service. One of the best places to dine in the area. Really clean and luxurious surroundings and the staff provide great hospitality and are extremely professional. Really nice relaxed atmosphere. A special place.
