Great food and looked after well by Alison and Emily.

Lovely food, lovely atmosphere, Alison and taby were super friendly, highly recommend!

My husband and I had a nice meal and all of the staff were very attentive, especially Giada. I actually left my bag in the restaurant, and when I called to ask if they had seen it, Giada was brilliant and informed me she had already seen it and put it aside for me. We were made to feel very welcome.

A large group of us went to Banana Tree for a Xmas Saturday lunch. We realised, shortly after arriving, that we had booked the wrong restaurant!! One of the hosts, Giada, didn't even bat an eye - she was so friendly & accommodating, and immediately arranged to sit our large party of 30 people 😜 we had 15 adults and 15 children (mostly toddlers!!) and the staff were amazing!!! So professional and organised, they managed to serve everyone in a timely fashion and provide entertainment for the little ones. Excellent service, topped only by the food which was delicious!! Thank you to all the staff Giada, Alison, Mariela & Priya for tolerating our loud bunch!!

Fabby lunch, sharing starters and mains along with a pitcher of cocktail. Enjoyed chatting with the friendly staff Erik and Giada and the complimentary birthday treat for my daughter was a lovely touch.

I went to Banana Tree to celebrate both mine and my brothers birthday. Alison was funny and friendly, the food was excellent and the service fantastic. We even got a free birthday cake at the end which was delicious

Had a lovely evening meal at the Banana Tree. The food was lovely, services excellent and thoroughly enjoyed the cocktails.

We were welcomed on arrival and given choice where we could sit. Both Alison and Erik were very attentive and we had a really enjoyable meal. Definitely coming back again!

I visited Banana Tree in Haywards Heath for the first time, and it was an amazing experience. A big shoutout to Erik, who was serving - he is absolutely fantastic! From the moment we arrived, Erik made me feel welcome with his warm, friendly attitude and exceptional professionalism. He went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect, making the experience even more special. The food was equally impressive—fresh, full of flavor, and beautifully presented. You can tell that quality is a top priority here, and every dish we tried was delicious. Overall, this was a wonderful dining experience, and I can’t wait to come back. Erik and the rest of the team truly make Banana Tree a standout spot in Haywards Heath. Highly recommended!

The new menu is so so good! The cod fritters were my favourite and the banana fudge cake with vanilla ice cream is the perfect combination of a brownie and banana bread. As always, Alison treated us very well. Highly recommend the lychee martini too :)

Erik , The Manager was very friendly and opened the restaurant 30mins beforehand just for us, helped us with choosing the dishes which was a really good pick, food was fantastic and loved the unique taste of the food.

Erik the manager gave a fantastic service to the extent that he opened the restaurant half an hour earlier. Highly recommended.

I especially want to highlight the exceptional service from Alison, Kim, and Emily. They were incredibly helpful and sweet, ensuring our needs were met throughout the evening. Their attentiveness truly enhanced our visit. I highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely be coming again!

We had a lovely birthday celebratory dinner. The Coconut colada mocktails were delicious and we took advantage of the 2 for 1 offer and had 2 each! Every course delivered authentic tasting food and generous portions. We can recommend every course we had; thai crackers, papaya salad, chicken satay and superb beef rendang. Wonderful warm efficient service from Alison and Majela. Thank you! We’ll be back ! And a lovely touch was the desserts brought out with lit candles as my friend and I were celebrating our birthdays. A good evening out indeed !

Katsu curry is to die for here, the service from Erik & Giada was really good.

Ordered takeaway, seafood red curry, rice soaked up all the sauce, not much flavour, mediocre for price. Was a shame as looking forward to it. Crispy chicken with mango/lime sauce nice but again very overpriced for takeaway.

Food was excellent and Alison our waitress was amazing 6 stars all round would definitely recommend.

Erik our host was fantastic, attentive without being intrusive, humorous and very friendly. Our food was fantastic, we so enjoyed our visit.

I went with a large group (family of 10) for mine and my niece's birthday. We had a brilliant time. The food was incredible (the chargrilled duck with nasi goreng is highly recommended), and the staff who served us were amazing. Unfortunately, I didn't get names, but I believe one was a manager and he perfectly understood our family's sense of humour, and knew exactly how to match our vibes - I can imagine he's knows perfectly how to judge what each different group needs to ensure each diner gets the best service possible. Thank you for making the evening so special!
