Beautiful food you get so much. Take my advice do not eat lunch if you are going for dinner. You'll get enough food for 3 meals. I was so full I couldn't walk. The staff were THE most friendly I have ever encountered in a pub that I have eaten at. I have never ever seen such wonderful beauty in humans. If you love food and love peas and love large portions at an extremely reasonable rate. I implore you to visit here asap.

The biggest best Sunday roast I've ever found at a pub and was exactly what we were looking for . Friendly staff too.

We had gone for Sunday Roast, which on previous visits had been very good. Yesterday it was so over cooked as to be inedible, the roast were so crispy they no longer contained potatoes. The meat was so dry the beef curled at the edges, the slice of pork was tasteless and surrounded by white fat, no crackling. One of the worst meals I have ever had. Never again.

The food wasn’t good it was stacked up but not nice at all. Started mushrooms were sent back as it was awful then replaced by soup which couldn’t be eaten. Mains were almost inedible. Staff nice but the older man was unapproachable. Won’t be recommending or going to this place again.

The food was incredible. Place was clean and staff absolutely lovely. Massive portions. Amazing service all throughout. Very very happy :)

It's a lovely little pub. Wish the dog friendly side was bigger. The service is always nice and friendly!

Look, when they say 'Large' Roast Dinner, they are not messing around. The roast potatoes are amazing, the Yorkshire puddings are heavenly, and the meat is pretty much perfect. A portion so large that it made me, a known glutton, pause and reconsider if I had the space for dessert. Speaking of which, the desserts were worth it. Amaretto and Daim Bar Frozen Mess - a special - beautiful.

A really quirky pub and full of character, had lunch with friends and the food was really good and wholesome. I had the steak pudding which was excellent, will be returning.

We made our own atmosphere due to it being a very special birthday for my mum You need to be warned to go there hungry as all 11 of us struggled to finish our dinners Service was spot on and should be credited to the team We will be back next year

An amazing collection of ephemera. Good food in huge portions. Lovely hostess.

Had a meal on a Monday and they had a 2 for 1 deal which was a huge bonus. The Burger I had was tasty and well cooked. Not at all dry. Beer was good. We were in a group of 8 and everyone liked their meals and drinks. The only thig that I didn't like was the amount of artifacts on the walls, it made getting in and out of chairs very difficult.

Don’t go on a Wednesday. We booked a table 4 weeks in advance which was happily accepted. We called on the day to confirm and was told by a rather rude person that our table was only for an hour to which we said that’s not long enough for a 3 course meal. The women said she would try and move us. On arrival we was placed right by the front door,I politely asked to be moved as don’t want to be by an open door to which she replied I will close it for you and did you ask not to seated by an open door. We eventually got moved to a table which was not in the restaurant area where I expected to be. The reason for all this was it was bingo night so the locals take preference. The food was absolutely gorgeous as usual however again don’t go on a Wednesday and the woman involved should improve her customer service skills. Will I visit again unfortunately not.

Amazing customer service, food and welcome. Extremely dog friendly and accommodating. Good value for money. Highly recommend visiting especially on a Monday when they have special offers on. This is a great pub that does great food. I highly recommend it. Make sure you go hungry as the portions are in no way stinting but the quality is amazing.

The food is absolutely lovely. You get plenty of it and at a good price too. The ribs are so well cooked that they melt in your mouth, and the spotted dick with custard is fabulous. Would defo recommend this place, well worth a visit.

I’ve just had lunch here as I was passing by……. What a wonderful lunch and hospitality, I was made very welcome even though I only wanted a table for one……… I used to be in hospitality so I’m a little fussy but I cannot recommend the Three Oaks enough, the food is amazing and large portions

Huge portions and great service. Only slight downside was no mobile phone signal or WiFi.

We were driving back from Camber to Bexhill with our dogs and fancied a pub lunch. We drove past The Three Oaks and thought we would try it. We are so glad we did .. what a fantastic pub this is.... Decent size, doggy friendly, my very favourite 'oldy worldy' type pub with wooden beams and a real fire, that was roaring!!!! Best of all was the food .... We have never seen portions like this and the quality of the food was excellent..... Plus they serve my absolute favourite Liver!!!! We are so happy we found this pub as we will most definitely be back... The food was out of this world, nice pint of Guinness, and the perfect spot, especially as the weather closes in so you can cosy up by the fire. Wonderful and the kind of pub we both love. Highly recommend

Found this pub by chance so glad we did. Food was exceptional in quality and quantity (an understatement) staff friendly and efficient service nice and quick atmosphere warm cosy and plenty of curiosities to view will certainly return.

We was on hols,in camber sands,and wanted to go out for dinner and our dog to come with us,so goggled dog friendly pubs,restaurants,and liked the look and sound of The Three Oaks ,well what a lovely cosy pub,the staff are so friendly and made a fuss of our choc lab,the food is gorgeous.and potions are huge,went back a few times after,you made us feel very welcome

It's such a nice and comfy place, if I lived nearby, I definitely would come more often. The food is great, huge portions, very hot (temperature-wise) and really delicious. I ordered one of the specials (liver with onion gravy). The whole atmosphere is very welcoming and you feel like you don't want to leave. Huge recommendation!

After a bit of a countryside walk my friend and I arrived to quite a cold atmosphere. The stone faced miserable barman (I’m presuming the manager) was so unwelcoming. Reluctantly I ordered some white wine which was warm and clearly had not seen the inside of a cooler or fridge. No please or thank you on payment with the same rigid face. I can only guess what he didn’t like about us, but maybe he needs a new career as hospitality is certainly not for him. We did not return during our 7 day holiday and would not recommend The Three Oaks Pub in Three Oaks, near Hastings.

This is a proper pub. This is the sort of pub that makes you want to move to the area to make it your local. The food was proper home cooked pub grub and the size of the portions are belly breaking. Steak and cheese pie was outstanding. The lady working behind the bar was lovely and great service. The pub itself is just full of random and interesting stuff to look at. It would be worth the 3hr round trip for us just to go back there and I’m sure we will. I won’t eat for a week before I do though. If you’re in the area pay it a visit. You won’t be disappointed.

Went for a Sunday roast, but unfortunately, the roasts had run out by the time we got there at 4 o'clock. Next time we will book an earlier time. However, we then ordered from the specials board, and the meals were superb and very, very generous portions. We ended up taking some of it home to have for supper, which the staff were happy to box up for us. All the staff were friendly and approachable. Thank you, and we will return.

Staff behind the bar were lovely and friendly just a shame about the rude man drinking at the bar (possibly landlord or manager?) who told her she'd charged the wrong price for drinks in front of us.

Found this gem of a pub by chance. Food was hot tasty and huge portions. Service was excellent. All staff were very friendly. Draught beers were very palatable. Would highly recommend this establishment.

Food pretty good overall, but portions too big. So much left over. Roast was not bad, steak pudding a bit dry. Bit of wait between courses. Overall not bad but would not rush back.

Me and my partner visited this pub for our dinner. We both had a starter and a main all our meals was very nice and very well cooked and the portions are more than generous. It's not the beat food you will eat, but it's not the worst. It's tastes good for the money you pay, and the portion sizes will make sure you'll never leave hungry. The service is spor on and the staff are all very friendly and helpful. You can't go wrong eating here. If you fancy a hearty home cooked meal and dont want to break the bank, then I can highly recommend this place 👌 😀.

A VERY special pub, you really have to see it! The journey is worth it. Very nice service, huge portions, very tasty dishes! We had reserved a table by email and were there with our motorhome. We were warmly welcomed and were allowed to spend the night on the PPL behind the house without any problems. It was a very quiet night. Many thanks to the owners and the entire team! Heike + Volker

Took my husband here for a birthday lunch.No warm welcome, we felt we really put the Chap behind out having to take our order so rude. Food came quickly, sausage and onion sandwich, chips and salad. The sausages were awful, tasteless mush, you would think a country pub would be serving local sausages, undressed iceberg salad. Chips were the only saving grace, as frozen . Wish we had listened to what people were saying about the pub and gone elsewhere. Never again.

Great old fashioned English pub. Outside seating is great in the summer. Open fire indoors for colder days. I recommend the cheese and steak pie. You best be hungry for portion are big

What a fabulous pub! The food is great and such big portions! I had the chilli con carne with rice and salad delicious! My partner had the chicken casserole with veg and potatoes, he said it was so tasty. The staff were friendly and attentive. Highly recommend the pub.

Food is amazing and portion size is enormous. Landlords is something else. I personally found him hilarious but you gotta have a good liking for humour. Definitely worth a pit stop.

Delicious Christmas Eve roast with cider. Generous Medium size portion

Booked a table for Christmas Eve dinner. We had a delicious roast with a choice of pork, beef, turkey or vegetarian options . The boiled vegetables 🫛 carrots red cabbage were a bit bland but it is just for my liking. The medium size portion for £12 was a very generous serving even for the adult men in our party. Loved the quirky deco, Christmasy atmosphere, the pool room at the back. Thank you for the attentive service, it made our visit truly enjoyable.

My family went to the Three Oaks for my son's 40th birthday. We weren't disappointed the pub was warm and inviting and the staff were really friendly. I didn't have a starter and was glad because when the meal arrived it was massive. I chose the casseroled lamb with new potatoes it was delicious. I just managed to save room for a sweet.( rude not to). Dark cherry pie and Ice cream just as wonderful. Thanks to all the staff for making it a really memorable evening. Paul Strevens

A great place to bring our grandchildren time and time again. The staff all go above and beyond for us. Our favourite place to visit for a roast dinner, the selection is delicious.

I've had food here before, and it was nice!. I've just had the Xmas roast turkey, and I found it tasteless!. The pub itself is nice and cozy, though. The staff are nice and friendly too!.

Very good value and huge meals. Your challenge is to make Nigel the Landlord smile! An empty plate is a real challenge, as the meals are very generous. One of my local pubs, and a very good one.

We have never had a bad meal here. The staff are always so lovely and friendly. The food has never disappointed. Huge portions, and the deserts are always very yummy. My only suggestion would be maybe a little more choice for vegetarians.

We were unsure about going after seeing a review saying they were not dog friendly. How glad we were to follow our gut feelings and visited the. The food was exceptional with very large portions. I went for the sausage and mash and ended up with five sausages and couple of pounds of potatoes. The landlord was welcoming and the staff were first class. This place is definitely worth a second, third or even four visits in a week
