Best sandwiches in town and great pastries too.

Bread and cakes are great. Fillings are bland or over seasoned. Excess pepper in egg mayo with low quality mayo for example. Bit of a shame as the actual bread was great.

Tried this bakery for the first time and wasn't disappointed! In fact I'm surprised I hadn't gone before. Cakes were yummy, baguettes were great and the salad box was full and so tasty! All great prices too. Will be stopping whenever in town! :)

Over charged and when told them she replied it’s not any can even though that’s what it said on price list and then she continued that there was a sign on fridge door and then admitted someone had taken it down so charged £4.70 instead of £4.25 ridiculous

Best sourdough bread in the area. Much lighter than many other quality bakers. Not to be confused with rubbish sold by supermarkets this bread is worth every penny. Seeded sourdough and wholemeal in particular are full of flavour.

I recently had a small gathering at my home before my father's funeral and I ordered sandwich and cake platters for 8 people from Kirsty at Poppyseed Bakery in Bexhill, I left the details up to her. The platters were ready on time and nicely presented on 3 trays ready to be served. The sandwich filling selection was great and the cake selection had been cut into smaller bite size portions which was also perfect. Kirsty was quick to reply to phone calls or emails and the girls in the shop did a great job of preparing the platters. Thanks again

Lovely little sandwich shop which does the most amazing sandwiches and rolls, as well as bread,pastries and Jams. Always friendly and helpful staff (even when they are heaving at lunchtime,and have to make multiple lunches for an ever growing queue of people.) Excellent.👍

Signage was changed to Poppyseed bakery earlier this year. they have a good range of bakery products, including some warm items at average prices. Always many tempting things on display as you walk by.

Now known as Poppyseed, was Farm Kitchen. Excellent pies, cakes, sandwiches and breads to take away. Steak pies full of meat, chicken and mushroom pies, curried slices, pasties, almond croissants; all very good and a huge range of sarnies freshly made. If you visit Bexhill with youngsters, no need to sit in a cafe with squirming young uns - buy your picnic here, have it in Egerton Park, just 5 mins away. Busy at lunch but prompt friendly service.

Always a friendly service given by all the staff. Good produce available daily. Great cooked meats salads and good selection of bread and rolls etc.

Always have a good selection and food is fresh as expected.

Went into Bexhill farmhouse today and got accused of stealing a piece of cake while waiting for my order, my order was ready I paid for what I had bought then left then the manager chased me down the road saying I hadn't paid for 1 piece of cake after I told them in the shop I had 3 pieces. So they don't listen when your order it and accuse you of stealing when your not. So beware don't get caught up in there like I did.

Only go here for date and orange slice 6 stars for that Its always bissie and and the staff are great

nice deli selling home baked pies cheeses and lots of yumi things has been in the town for a good number of years i would highly reccomend a visit

Have loved this shop and used it for many years. We have a regular weekly order. Recently though we have noticed that the granary bread is dryer and less seeded. Very sad😓 we hope this is just a blip.

Been going here for years when I used to work in Bexhill town. Great tasting food ALWAYS. Always fresh. Best place for grabbing a sandwich in Bexhill that’s for sure & so reasonably priced. We have used farmhouse kitchen ALOT this summer. Grabbing sandwiches and treats for the kids and then heading down the beach with it all! It’s been a god send. AMAZING! Highly reccommend!

I make my own bread a lot and many different types so when I first went here I was a little doubtful as many of these small local shops are average a best. However they make really wonderful sour dough bread and several others as well. I was really impressed and been back several time to try different breads. Well worth a visit

This shop sells artisan breads as well as a wonderful selection of filled snacks, sandwiches made to order, rolls, local honey & preserves, and so on. It is so popular that customers are often queuing out of the door - especially in the morning. Recommended.

Farm kitchen is great. Superb wide range of freshly baked breads, pies and savoury goods. They make sensational fresh sandwiches on any of the breads or rolls they bake in store and for the quality it represents excellent value for money. Expect a queue when it's lunch time as it's a popular place. Get in early to avoid the rush.

It is not often you bite into a sandwich and say wow. This is not off the shelf bread it is proper tasty bread. The bread on its own is lovely and soft with a gorgeous taste. The sandwich fillings are delicious as well. We had a platter for a business lunch and they were some of the best I have tasted anywhere.

Great selection of breads and fillings. Brilliant selection of sweet items too, the blueberry and white chocolate flapjack is amazing! Very good prices, watch out for the queues at lunch times though.
