Thoroughly enjoyed my Easter Sunday lunch

Thank you for a super Mother’s Day lunch with a treat of chocolates for the mums! That was an unexpected surprise. Roast lunch was tasty ( we had turkey ) and gluten free options are always appreciated. The spiced cauliflower vegetable is worth a mention as is the extra gravy! Great staff - always there with a smile! Desserts were delicious - loved the lemon meringue, the crumble, the marmalade sponge pudding and the Bakewell tart. Always a variety of choices on the menu. Would always recommend booking as they get busy. Thank you!

Wickham Bistro is a great place to catch up with family and friends for a coffee or food (all freshly cooked on the premises). A definite 10/10

Unfortunately we can only go there on Sundays, what can I say, the food is fantastic, the owners are wonderful to say the least, hospitable, really lovely, guys you have to go and taste the delicious desserts made by them

My wife and I took a friend out for Sunday lunch (on 10/12) at the Bistro and had a great time - the 'feel' of the place was very welcoming, as were the staff and the food was great. We live in the Midlands (our friend lives in Bexhill but wasn't aware of the Bistro) and booked, based on other reviews that we had seen on TripAdvisor and we were not disappointed - thank you Wickham Bistro!

Fantastic meal. Friendly service. Quaint and quirky setting. The staff were attentive, but mostly amazing food.

Tucked down a side street, away from the Bexhill seafront, this is a quirky, delightful, family run bistro. A lovely welcome, excellent food (Eggs Benedict for me), good wine (the owner was able to tell me about the vineyard), and good prices.

We discovered this gem of a place while staying in Bexhill for the weekend. Delicious and hearty homecooked food and really warm and welcoming service. So good we went twice in two days, and they offered us our lovely corner table again before we even had to ask. A wonderful and special dining experience.

Superb Sunday roast with some really nice unusual vegetables like roasted beetroot and onions. All desserts homemade and delicious. Would definitely go again.

Had been wanting to visit the 'Wickham bistro for some time, so finally booked a table for Sunday. It's a lovely quirky place with great ambience. We had the roast beef & chicken both were very good but my only criticism would be more green veg and a serated knife to cut the beef. Very good service in a relaxed atmosphere, will definitely be returning.

Delicious lunch, excellent and friendly service, at a very reasonable price, and great decor. Have visited several times and the food is always excellent. It is clearly a place which cares about the quality of its ingredients.

I was stood outside in the pouring rain and the owner of the Bistro offered to lend me an umbrella! Very kind! So, I bought a frozen Persian Lamb meal, apparently the customers' favourite, and I'll review that when eaten.

Great little place, we stopped by for a late lunch. Loved the atmosphere and service. Menu choices are more unusual, food freshly made and tasty. Really enjoyed the pear and ginger juice too.

Service was good and the food was delicious. Small but carefully chosen list of wines, mostly Spanish, from a small producer you won't find in the shops. Rosé was tasty. The interior decor is fun and quirky, giving this place an inviting ambience. Sean, the proprietor, stopped for a chat and was friendly and knowledgeable. Recommended

The welcome in this bistro was very friendly. We were advised by the owner on what to choose. We ate some very original marinated salmon and a huge, very tender steak with green pepper sauce. This family run Bistro is a real gem! Food is great quality home cooked fare with Mediterranean or North African influence. Having said that the Sunday roast is my favourite. Very friendly staff and well worth a visit - must book in advance though.

Friendly and nice looking place but the chef is not experienced enough for the menu. Ordered the Tartiflette, it was just boiled potatoes swimming in cream, it was not the bake I was expected. My partner roasted mushrooms' herb mix was disappointing and did not taste good. The coffee was good though.
