Had a lovely afternoon tea delivered today. Everything was homemade, and 1 was gluten free. Both were delicious and great value for money. I will definitely be ordering again. Highly recommended

A wonderful cafe, lovely friendly staff, very clean and tidy. The menu is great, especially as it caters for Gluten Free, a rare find to be offered so many choices, even home made lemon drizzle cake, which was scrumptious! I would recommend!

My daughter and her partner took me for breakfast at Blueberries following their previous visit the week before. The ladies working there were so helpful and accommodating when I asked for gluten free options and the choice available was excellent! I even got to take away a piece of gluten free bakewell cake, which was absolutely delicious!This will be a regular outing for us from now on :)

We found this cafe because of Trip Advisor and we’re so grateful that we did. The friendly staff welcomed us, gave us tips on parking and places to visit. The prices of everything were incredibly reasonable and we couldn’t quite believe they had charged us correctly... but they had! It’s a little off the beaten track but worth making the effort. Everyone seemed so lovely; customers and staff!Top Tip: The apple juice is underrated - delicious!!!

There are plenty of coffee shops and cafes in our area, but none come close to Blueberries. Have had lunch and coffees and cake several times before lockdown. Ordered an afternoon tea treat for our anniversary and they didn't disappoint. Delicious sandwiches and loads of extras plus lovely cakes.

We ordered an afternoon tea to takeaway as a treat for our daughters 21st. I can honestly say that this is the best afternoon tea we have had!!!! My daughter has raved about the cakes previously and I can now see why. Thank you Lesley for helping us do something for her birthday whilst we are in lockdown! We will be coming again soon!!!

Wanted something a bit extra special for mothers day due to not being able to spend time with my mum and Blueberries Cafe came up trumps.Afternoon tea in the safety of her own home. Ordering was a piece of cake (pardon the pun) good communication and the price was great value.The cakes,sausage rolls,sandwiches etc looked soooo good they nearly didn't make it to my mums !! I can't recommend Blueberries enough I will be back xx

We decided to use this small and cosy café, here in Bexhill-On-Sea, for our Book Club Meeting and it was a real find. It’s a family run business and they are very friendly and obliging. The food is excellent, as are the prices and all cakes are homemade and delicious. Their breakfasts are so good and are freshly cooked. It is opposite a bus stop; in the same road as the railway station and I really couldn’t recommend it more. Long may it last.

Once again I had lunch in Blueberries. The staff are always pleasant and friendly and the food excellent all fresh while you wait! One of my favourite places to eat in Bexhill.

Perfect breakfasts, all cooked fresh and to your specific needs and fussiness! Great service, warm, friendly and with personality too. Ages look really good and homecooked, however I am only there at breakfast time! Normally breakfasts, plus crushed avocado and poached eggs too, lush.

A little cafe with a lovely welcome. Had a well cooked vegan breakfast, mushrooms, hash brown, beans, fried bread, tomato, toast and a latte for little over £6.00. Was freshly cooked, hot and served with a smile. The owner was very helpful and reassuring that the food we would get was cook separately from the non vegan food.

Always perfect, always cooked fresh and individuality on how I like things is always met. The lady who owns it is lovely, kind and a very good cook. Her staff are also lovely and really with great friendly and welcoming personalities. So much choice. Exceptionally clean.

A place to relax and enjoy some fresh home cooking. Not the most exhaustive menu but the presentation and service are good. All meals cooked to order. Friendly staff and manager. Great for a brunch or light lunch.

We went here based on the reviews and were not disappointed. We both ordered a full English and it tasted as good as it looked (presentation was superb!). The two breakfasts and a couple of drinks came to around £11 which was excellent value for money. Very clean surroundings and will be going back.

Simply the best fry-up around town, no point in saying any more than that, you'll realise why when you visit.

My husband and I were looking to find a quiet spot for a filling but not too pricey breakfast. Blueberries provided a range from the build your own English breakfast to something a little different. I enjoyed the smashed avocado and poached egg on crusty bloomer. A hit for the new menu!

Lovely & clean, friendly welcome. Had a very nice lunch, catered well for me being gluten free, including a yummy cake. The non gluten free cakes & pastries looked yummy too.

Our visit was somehow accidental, we were looking for a place to have a breakfast and at 8am this was the only place that was already open. and I am so pleased we found this place. Very nice, clean interior, friendly and pleasant lady serving customers, great freshly cooked food and hot coffee. I loved the fact I could compose my breakfast myself without asking if I could swap one thing for another. That was good start of the day and we will definitely be back.

Our friends came down at the weekend and wanted to come to blueberries again. They love the quality of the food, it’s so clean and service is exceptional.

Back to my favourite coffee shop this time for lunch. Prawn Marie rose ciabatta with side salad and crisps. Delicious but unfortunately I had no room for my favourite carrot cake! I highly recommend Blueberries.

A small perfect place to go for coffee, cake, lunch and my favourite breakfast. You should try the blueberry breakfast stack.... Toast, hash brown, bacon and egg all stacked on top of each other. Lovely owner, really clean cafe, everything cooked fresh and with good ingredients. Even someone fussy like me who has an allergy, plus likes crispy toast, lean and well done bacon, soft poached eggs ..., gets a perfect breakfast too.

The owner greets you warmly, there are papers to read whilst you wait, toilets are clean and decor is simple but stylish.

Breakfast here is cooked fresh so plenty of time to chat and catch up really good price and nice and tasty , service is really good and with your hot drink you get a tiny little dog shortbread would definitely go back again soon

Lovely homemade Bakewell tart. Good soup and pate dishes- could be served with better quality bread and butter. Location is off main shopping streets so can be quieter and easier to get seats.

I had 15 minutes to kill and fancied a coffee so popped into Blueberries, lovely front of house staff, great coffee and delicious cheese scone. Super clean and cosy. The cakes looked amazing, next time I'll try the blueberry pie. Yum yum

Popped in for a mid morning coffee and toasted tea cake. Good friendly service made coffee just how I like it.

I visited with my mother and my 3 young children for lunch. The lady who served us couldn’t have been more accommodating and friendly. It was like eating lunch at a friends house. The food was delicious and even loved by my pickiest child!

Went with my wife yesterday, excellent service, perfect coffee and yummy cake choice. This place is a bit hidden from the normal shopping route but well worth seeking out. We found it by accident!!!

We were in Bexhill for a mooch around and we’re thirsty for Tea. Seeing the Scones and Sausage rolls on the counter we just had to try them. Sadly they only had one cheese scone left so we opted to share. Wow, the Scone was lovely and the Sausage Roll very tasty too. Certainly both hand made. The tea was tasty and service very nice too. Overall it was very clean, friendly staff and tasty food. Thank you for the lovely visit.

If you want a nice coffee (or tea) and cake with friendly service then Blueberries is worth a visit. Have been coming in here for a while now and it is always nice.

Went into blueberries today for breakfast a nd sadly disappointed with service and food. I have eaten here many times before and always loved the place. But the owner Lesley was on her day off. We entered the cafe and was not greeted with the usually friendly hello, the first thing the lady said was are you planning on having sausages because if you are I will need to start cooking them. This was as soon as we walked through the door and we hadn't even looked at the menu. We did have sausages but the service was really slow and the older lady cooking was flustered. I also opted for a poached egg, but this was sadly hard and not running and the toast was also hard and dry. Lesley I understand you need days off, but please get staff that can live up to your high standards.

Friendly people. Clean place. Took my family there based on the current reviews. What a mistake. No kiddies menu. Sandwiches or microwaved jacket potatoes are the main lunch options. No proper hot food. And very expensive for what you get. Perhaps the strength of this place is coffee and cake. It is definitely not a place to go to eat for lunch. Really disappointed. We will not return.

First encounter was when looking around Bexhill for somewhere to live 2015. Was good then and has not faltered since. Pleasant staff, good food and of course good coffee. Doesn't pretend to be anything else. Try it - I doubt you'll be disappointed.

I use Blueberries often. The people who run it are delightful and the food s always good. Breakfast is piping hot and the cakes are delicious and interesting. We had our 70ty birthday breakfast here with 20 friends and family and it was brilliant. You should try it.

Lovely teashop on the same road as the railway station between the station and post office. Good selection of breakfasts, very friendly and helpful staff and Bakewell cake to die for! We intend to visit every time we are in Bexhill.

Kids loved it. The proprietor was very welcoming and efficient. Good quality ingredients, cooked well. You can take good bacon or sausages. Well cooked and the oldest son loved his granola fruit pot. Healthier than his father....

Just had my bi-annual visit to Blueberries Coffee Shop and again I was not disappointed. Although the staff have changed the new staff were as friendly and efficient as usual and the proprietor, Lesley, was as welcoming as usual! I wish I lived nearer so that I could visit more often! (The carrot cake was up to the usual standard!)

Nicely prepared and cut fresh sandwiches Coffee is some of the best in Bexhill...Bexhill is a little short on very good coffee. Clean, airy and just the place for a light lunch.

If you want a good gluten free breakfast then this is the place to go. Everything was very tasty full of flavour, there was gluten free sausages, hash browns and gluten free toast everything was freshly cooked. All went down with a nice cuppa tea which was served in a pot which held just over two cups. I would highly recommend this small friendly cafe which was clean and the toliet facilities was clean and fresh

We visited as a family based on the top ranking trip advisor reviews. Must have been an off day. The baked potatoes looked drowned in microwaved cheese and the cafe smelt like a grill that needed a clean.

My grandson and I had a lovely lunch at Blueberries today. As usual the service was friendly and welcoming. The food delicious. I had the soup, very nice on a chilly day. My grandson had a sausage roll which he described as very yummy . If you're in Bexhill it's well worth a visit to Blueberries, you won't be disappointed.

This café is out of the main thoroughfare of Bexhill but offers fabulous home-made cakes and snacks. Once you know where it is you'll return time and again! The staff are very friendly and polite. Prices are good too!

I visited Bexhill-On-Sea last week for holiday and I asked where is the best place to get great quality food at a reasonable price. Was recommended to check out this Coffee Shop from a member of the local public and they were not wrong. I could not fault this unique place one bit.I was greeted in such a positive fashion that I automatically felt welcomed. The staff were very attentive and the food was gorgeous.Will definitely be back.

Visitamos arándanos el 12 de septiembre. Mayo, que era la 3ª aniversario de la apertura es la mejor tienda de café en la costa sur, con la mejor comida y decoración. Fue un gran placer ver Lesley la propietaria, su asistente Mollie y su hijo Ben de nuevo mi esposa Jennifer tenía su típico desayuno 5 item y tuve los 7 artículos. La variedad de tartas casera lesley necesita verlo para creerlo y sus mezclas especiales de café tienes que queriendo más. Los precios son buenos y con una gran relación calidad-precio. No puedo esperar a volver de nuevo.

My daughter and I had a bit of time before our train so went for a wander and found this little place. What a lucky find! The homemade cakes were amazing, good coffee and hot chocolate also, and the service was genuinely friendly too.My 7year old has already said we must come back here next time we are down to visit.Recommended.

This was a great little find! The best hot chocolate and only for £2.50 as theyre always normally so expensive (like Costas by the time you add on cream and marshmallows!!) also had a home made cheese scone which was just delicious!!!I could have doubled my order but thought of the calories and decided against it but I cannot wait to come back for a repeat!

My husband loves it here, I find it lacks a little bit of atmosphere but he says you don't need atmosphere for breakfast!I have no negative comments apart from the lack of ambiance, the coffee is good, poached eggs good and full breakfast good ..., good service, papers to read, clean and very efficient.

You will always get cheerful service at Blueberries. The prices are very reasonable and the food is lovely. Nothing is too much trouble.

Visited today for the second time and once again was not disappointed.I had a very large breakfast (of my own choice) my wife had scrambled egg on toast my daughter had a small breakfast and her partner had a medium breakfast all of which came out lovely and hot and all top quality.Coffee was great too my wife said the tea is good too.Needless too say we will be back .

We have visited Blueberries on more than one occasion on this visit it was the owner Lesley's day off, I am pleased to say Blueberries still continues to run well without Lesley, so we forgive you Lesley for having a day off lol. The Coffee Shop was left in the capable hands of Ben and Molly, they make a great team and nothing is too much, both very friendly and approachable, the food is still great and fresh, thank you Lesley for running a tight ship. I recommend Blueberries, if you want a nice cosy friendly atmosphere with great food made to order then this is the place for you

Over in Bexhill for Christmas and had to return to Blueberries. Some new staff but the high standards have been maintained. The homemade mince pies were delicious, much better than shop bought!

Called into Blueberries today for one of their big breakfasts. Had the BFG. Absolutely smashing. Freshly cooked and well presented. the staff are so friendly giving an excellent service. Will definitely go back

Have been in multiple occasions and has always been outstanding. The staff are welcoming and attentive with out being obtrusive and the food is of good quality and very competitively priced. Would recommend to anyone wanting a quality breakfast.

Thoroughly enjoyed this Cafe the moment I stepped in! This was a special morning coffee Reunion and I was so impressed with their homemade cakes, tea cakes, scones and teas/coffees. Family run business, which I always like to fully support and wish them every success in their future business. A real credit to Bexhill!

Popped in today with a friend for Cream Teas. The scones were lovely. A wide range to choose from including Gluten Free selection, which I will certainly be recommending to friends. The owner and staff are warm and friendly. I'll definitely be going back

We visited this coffee shop on Monday 19 September with a group of friends for a gathering after a death in the family. The owner was so kind and made us a coffee and walnut cake (free).

Had a fab lunch with the family. The ladies were very accommodating and made beans on toast especially for my daughter! Which made her day!!Will definitely visit again when next in town.

Really lovely cafe have been a few times with friend's. Food and drink are always lovely and staff and owner are so friendly couldn't recommend it enough

Blueberries really lived up to the expectations I had formed from earlier customers' reviews. I went there with two of my sisters to meet our cousin and celebrate a 75th birthday with cake and a pot of tea. Lo and behold, at 3.15 on a Tuesday we had the choice of several tempting cakes, all home-made, and having let slip the birthday info, my sister's cake arrived complete with a candle, which made for a perfect birthday photo, too. (Our cousin who lives in Bexhill added that lunches are also excellent.)

I have visited this cafe for lunch on a number of ocassions with work colleagues. There is always a warm welcome, and the food has always been lovely. In my opinion, the best part about this cafe is the cake. It is homemade by the owner, and each time I go in there is a different delicious offering that I can't resist! By far one of the nicest places in Bexhill.

A very nice, clean cafe but a little overpriced for what it is. We had 2 rolls and 2 coffees and it was £15! Friendly staff but probably won't go again as I feel you can get the same sort of food with a better location and a view for the same price or less.

I have visited Blueberries coffee shop a few times since it opened and the staff are always consistent in making the visit comfortable and friendly. The surroundings are appealing and very clean and tidy. The food is always delicious and the finishing touches always makes a difference! I would encourage everyone to give it a try. Just before Blueberries opening I had a twinge of sadness over the closing of the former restaurant. It served an elderly community, providing what might have been their one hot meal of the day. So I was guarded in my expectations over what was to come. To say I was and am delighted is an understatement! Blueberries is a bright, inviting, Bistro-type shop where it's the perfect place to stop for a light lunch or breakfast, or afternoon tea. Prices are more than reasonable and the environment is comfortable. An odd thing to say, perhaps, but I often judge the overall quality of how a small food business is run by the cleanliness of its toilet facilities. Blueberries is consistently immaculate! This, I believe, is reflective of how things are run behind the scene. If you're in town, or perhaps just stopping at the post office, or thinking of crossing over the railway tracks for shopping at Sainsbury's, this is the place to stop. You will always be welcome and the food freshly prepared. Very friendly towards my Curate - The Venerable Mr Piddles, my Medi-Assist dog as well. He gives Blueberries Four wags and a resounding 'woof' - his highest accolade!Order a Panini and have a rest. You'll be glad you did!

Have just been to the UK on holiday and just had to return to Blueberries. Still the best carrot cake! Some of the staff were new but the very high standards of service and cleanliness have been maintained. Really enjoyed my visit and I will be returning next time I get over.
