Cappadocia Epsom – Great Food, but Beware of Timing on Special Days We visited Cappadocia Epsom as a group of 12 (9 adults and 3 children) to celebrate Mother’s Day. Our booking was at 3:30 PM, but unfortunately, our table wasn’t ready until 4 PM, meaning we had to wait outside for half an hour. Once inside, the atmosphere was lovely, with a nice venue and friendly staff. The menu offered a good variety of dishes, and we thoroughly enjoyed our starters, mains, and desserts. The food quality was great, and the service was generally welcoming. However, at 6:05 PM, the manager approached the youngest adult in our group to inform them that another party was waiting for our table, as it had been booked from 6 PM. This was disappointing, especially as we had already lost 30 minutes waiting for our table at the start. It made us feel rushed and put a dampener on what had been a beautiful celebration. Overall, Cappadocia Epsom is a great restaurant with excellent food and service. However, if you’re booking for a special occasion like Mother’s Day or Christmas, be mindful of possible timing issues

Warm welcome & friendly attentive service. Good food & a good choice. The place was buzzing & cocktails were being served.

Staff is very kind and welcoming. Manager is also very amazing, we had an issue but he was very understanding and helped to resolve it quick! Food 5* , honestly the meat quality is absolutely beautiful! Also Kenafe was well worth the wait!!

Had a wonderful meal here with my partner last Sunday and we both went for the Sunday platter deal with is extremely good value for money and stupidly tasty! You pretty much get a mix of everything so you can sample all the flavours and the meat was cooked to perfection! It's the first time we've dined at cappadocia and I would highly recommend it to anyone.

After being seated in what can only be described as a fancy greenhouse on the outside of the restaurant and paying £60 for two plates of mediocre food, I have to say we shan't be returning.

My partner and I enjoyed a lovely dinner yesterday. We had the family sharing 3-course meal, and we absolutely loved the food. Everything was fresh and beautifully presented, plus the atmosphere was cozy and warm. The staff were also very accommodating. 😊

Delicious food with a huge variety at a reasonable price. We managed to secure a table for a Saturday evening. The restaurant is spacious and its acoustic features are commendable. It wasn't disturbingly noisy even though it was full. Every single dish was served within 20 minutes and the quality was superb. We will be sure to return here in the future.

Really disappointed, we booked for a Thursday for friends birthday purely on the basis your website advertises that you have a belly dancer on Thursday only to be told you haven’t had a belly dancer in ages? Disappointed in the false advertising on their website. Not impressed, especially when spending over £250?

Great Food & Service, But a Bit Pricey We had a wonderful experience at Cappadocia Restaurant! The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the food was absolutely delicious—authentic flavors, fresh ingredients, and beautifully presented dishes. A special shoutout to Nevzat, who provided outstanding service. He was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. His recommendations were excellent, and he truly made us feel welcome. The only downside was that some dishes had smaller portion sizes than expected, especially considering the price. While the quality was excellent, it would be great if the portions were a bit more generous. Overall, a fantastic place for a special meal, and we would definitely return.

Had the most amazing time on our date. our table was perfect with comfy chairs although a slight breeze from the bottom of the window but there was heaters to keep us warm! The service was fantastic the waiter was lovely and made sure we was okay at all times. The food was incredible so delicious with great portion sizes too!! The cocktails were great too!! In the images we had the hot meze for 2, mixed grill and a strawberry daiquiri.

Nice service and atmosphere. Comparing the other Cappadocia at Kingston, portion sizes were a bit smaller. Also the ingredients of lahmacun was way less. However, somehow it was tastier.

I stopped for lunch at Cappadocia while in Epsom, and I have to say it was genuinely some of the best Turkish food I’ve ever had. To start, we shared a variety of meze dishes. These were all delicious, and it was hard to pick a favorite. The falafel was flavorful, and the yogurt sauce was sensational. The grilled Turkish sausage was also a standout dish. It came with loads of freshly baked bread, which was incredible. For my main course, I had a classic lamb dish, which was like a kofte and served with salad and flatbread. It was all incredibly flavorful, and the meat was so well cooked, with that delicious charcoal taste. The service was outstanding, too, with the whole team being extremely friendly and welcoming. They honestly couldn’t have done more to make our meal enjoyable. Overall, it was an amazing meal with fantastic service and delicious food. I would highly recommend a visit to Cappadocia if you’re in Epsom—it’s honestly sensational!

Friends and I regularly meet up at Cappadocia on Epsom High Street for lunch and a chat. We went today and as usual we had a really nice time. Staff were friendly and relaxed, the food was excellent and it’s got a nice buzz without being over the top. We ate from the set lunch menu which has a good choice at a reasonable price. Try it, you won’t be disappointed.

Have been to this place twice, their food is fresh and delicious, love the freshly made hummus dips. Will visit again soon

Lovely location in Epsom town centre and the welcome was very warm and friendly, even though we had not pre-booked a table. The food was fab with a large array of choice, plus good-sized portions and very fresh and colourful. It arrived piping hot. We only had a main each as we were heading out to the theatre after (Epsom Playhouse) so did not have a great deal of time but we both found it filled us up. I tried the chicken shish and it was very tender with good sized chunks of chicken. I asked for the bulgar wheat to be changed for chips, and nothing was too much trouble. However, as everything was sooo scrummy and delicious and very filling I think I could’ve done without the chips. My partner had the beef pizza and was also suitably impressed. The prices were not tiny but for the quality and quantity I think very much comparable with other places now. I would love to go back again. We did explain when we arrived that we only had a short time, so our service was quick and easy. But could easily spend a couple of hours relaxing and stuffing our faces. The place was not completely packed out on a Saturday evening, but it was still fairly busy and there seemed to be a lot of people coming and going so looks to be very popular. Maybe next time we will try the starts/desserts and share a main? I would highly recommend this restaurant. There seemed to be a wide range of ages so an extensive appeal. We were in the covered conservatory part of the restaurant out front but glad to say it was lovely and warm with the heaters. Not a trace of being cold with the glass surround. Thanks ever so much to Ismail who took great care of us along with the other team members. Even though they were always moving around the service was attentive and accommodating. Be warned we will be back. 😊.

Went here on New Years Eve, 2024. The staff were very busy, but extremely attentive and although it was a set menu, they were happy to make a couple of changes to accommodate my gluten allergy, luckily I had googled one of the dishes and found out ahead of time that it contained bread and therefore gluten, they also allowed me to select ice cream as dessert rather than the ones on the set menu which could not be adapted for a coeliac. The atmosphere was great, the belly dancers fun with the DJ playing decent music. Only slight downside, for £75 per person, there was not even a small glass of fizz included in the price to bring in the New Year. Will be back to try the normal menu soon

Excellent food , perfect service, great atmosphere -

I would recommend this place 100%. The portions are plentiful and enough to share. We had the traditional hot meze which was delicious and I would recommend the lamb and steak kebab which was in a luxuriously rich tomato sauce. Don’t even get me started on how good the baklava was! Lovely lighting and music playing in the background added to a nice romantic atmosphere. Would definitely come back again. Nevzat was our server and was polite and friendly and gave us some great recommendations so thank you very much for providing such excellent service!

Really not great! Freezing cold! Even when asked to move into the warm! Lamb kebab very fatty! Steak, great…. Service really really poor! Friendly when the chaos spoke to you but never came to the table at all!! One persons meal arrived 15 minutes after everyone else’s! Really dissatisfied won’t be going back! Much better places in Epsom to eat!

First time coming here so chose the set menu to taste a of range of dishes. Couldn't have been happier with the food we were served! Really fresh and excellent cuisine. Friendly and welcoming service. The Turkish bottled beer was also really good. Only one slight negative to mention, next time I would not choose the house red wine, it had a harsh tannic/woody note on the finish which was not pleasant. Just a bit disappointing when contrasted with the excellence of everything else.

We went to Cappadocia for a family meal and had a fantastic time. Nevzat our waiter, and all the staff were so friendly and accommodating, and the food was excellent. Highly recommend it.

For lunch we was so welcomed to our table with top waiters and fantastic food we both had starters and I had lamb mains it was to die for succulent meat

The waiter was over confident. He took our drinks order but didn't listen and got it completely wrong. My drink had to be replaced. The food was average.

FAB-U-LOUS! As one of a birthday lunch group of 30(inc.10 littlies), I was amazed and highly impressed by the hospitality, professionalism, friendliness and efficiency of all the staff … and I found the food exceptionally well presented and DE-LI-CIOUS! It was all the more impressive because there was no set menu, so everyone was ordering random items off the menu,, including vegan options, and there did not appear to be any unusual delays. Loved it! Thanks to all.

Restaurant has a great atmosphere. However, we didn't enjoy the food much. The cold meze we had was average tasting. The meat cutlets with pistachio was bland lacking deliciousness and had too rich beef gravy that was too overpowering. Service charge is included too.

We were a party of 6 on a Saturday. We were given a table for 6 just to the right as you come in. The food was fantastic throughout. Really unique food with plenty of flavour. The table itself was in a great position in the outside terrace area away from everyone else so we could enjoy the atmosphere. We were served by 4 different waiters who all had a great sense of humour and really made our party laugh. We were there for 2.5 hours and never felt rushed. Had a great time and would definitely come back. Thanks 👍

Last night was the second time we eat in this restorant. The food is extraordinary!! I didn’t took fotos from the starters. We had houmous , falafel, tabule, scallops and burek and everything was sooo deliciouse !! Highly recommend !

We patronised Cappadocia Restaurant in Epsom for the first time this evening and we were very impressed. We booked very last minute but we arrived and our booking was in place and we were greeted by many staff as we were being shown to our table. The service was quick and friendly. We loved the food, it was delicious and well presented. We feel that we got our money’s worth and left full and satisfied. We will definitely be returning.

Lovely external seating area which I booked as an afterthought and got an almost immediate response. Very warm day but the windows were opened to allow a through breeze but minimise the traffic noise. Good choice of food and knowledgeable and attentive staff for whom service seemed to be a pleasure. Made to feel very welcome and had our queries about the types of food on the menu answered very enthusiastically.

I had dinner here last night. I am ceoliac and have to have a gluten free diet. The food here was excellent with great gluten free choices and the staff had a great knowledge of gluten free food. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. I will definitely be back.

We have been to Cappadocia several times and it never falls short, always pleasant and friendly staff when you arrive and throughout your meal. Food is lovely and, on this occasion when my wife ordered the wrong meal, they were happy to swap for what she actually wanted. Couldn't fault them in any way and would certainly go back!

Just arrived in Epsom and was very hungry, and this place was nearby and looked very nice. The food were great but I think a bit expensive for the price. Especially the Octopus, only get 2 tentacles for £12 something if not mistaken. The staff were pleasant and friendly and the service were quiet fast.

Food was good as usual. The lunch meal options have gone up in price but still quite good value. Disappointing to be charged for what is usually free bread…you get the same basket with 5 people as for 2 people. We asked for more bread and were surprised to be charged for it. It’s a small thing but annoying, especially as it wasn’t made clear to us.

However we thought the quality and portion size of the octopus dish was outrageous! Octopus is one of our favourite dishes to order and this is unfortunately one of the worst we have had. Location & Travel: 4/5 Prime location in the centre of Epsom High Street. A stones throw from Epsom Train station and parking available at many car parks with limited on street parking. Cost: £ - ££££ £££ - Not overly expensive however for the food portion sizes and the quality of taste, it felt it, but only for this reason. Overall we didn't feel there was a sense of value for the money spent.

Cappadocia never disappoints, the food is always on point no matter your mood and it may be a top 2 friendliest staff and it’s not 2. Hassan will always look after you!

I went here for the first time at the weekend, with two other family members to celebrate my birthday. Spent four lovely hours eating some amazing foods, with such great flavours and drinking lovely cocktails. The service by ALL the staff was amazing. They were very polite and very helpful. We would highly recommend to family and friends.
