Hanedan Restaurant in Epsom and Ewell

A mio parere è un ristorante caratteristico se si vuole assaggiare qualcosa di turco particolare che non sia solo il kebab. La definirei nel complesso un'esperienza positiva e mi sento di consigliarlo a chi si trova in zona ed abbia voglia di una serata all'insegna di sapori medio-orientali. Anche il prezzo è stato soddisfacente in quanto abbiamo speso in media meno di 35 euro a testa.

Places two orders by the same day for collection because it was my sons birthday and he loves the chicken wings at this restaurant. The lady on the phone was very polite and professional. I ordered 4 portions of grilled chicken wings which come with chips and salad. I then after a few hours ordered another 4 more and requested if I can opt not to have chips because we have enough from first order and I do not like wasting food. I asked her if any discount can be applied and she said yes with was great. On collection I was served by another waitress who was very rude, came to me with the card machine, did not say thank you and slammed the receipt on the table. I then heard her tell off the lady who served me on the phone that she should not have given any discount, it’s not right and you need management approval, she said this several times. I was sitting right there hearing everything and when the moody waitress came and gave me my food I told her directly not to speak about me or any customer whilst they are here, it is very professional. If the policy is for wait staff to get approval from management then this is what should have happened but please do not discuss in front of the customer as it is not right. It makes me feel bad that I asked for discount and like any human if I ask and I get I will of course take the deal. She tried to defend herself but I walked out. I used to order from here a lot of since then have not bothered, shame really the food is decent.

Food was absolutely dreadful Re- heated Service poor Atmosphere dire Salad was basically one large very wet cucumber with a tiniest bit of feta Kebabs crusty overcooked reheated Chicken dish Gaggy and most certainly re- heated Nothing Fresh

The food and staff at Hanedan was amazing had a great evening with my friends.

Not a great experience. Went on a Wed night and it was dead, just two other tables so the atmosphere was flat. What annoyed me that most was that I was charged £6.95 for x3 calamari rings (2.31 per ring!!!) and the menu said £6.75 so I am even more annoyed after looking at the bill. You can buy a whole 300ml bag at Sainsburys for £4.75. I also heard the chef giving out free food to the table next to me, which further annoys me even more! The mixed shish was ok... lamb was quite strong tasting and probably more like mutton than lamb. Their chilli sauce is also one of the worse I have had and it had no kick. Asked for a hotter one and was given fresh chillies. Best part of the meal were the kids chicken wings and chips. Wont be going back and will head out to Epsom next time.

Food was excellent and service was great. Staff were very attentive and great service. Restaurant wasn't too busy so it was an excellent evening. Great value for money and very accommodating compared to cappadocia.

Amazing food and massive portion size, I would 100% recommend you go there.

It was Saturday yearly evening, two of us was the only customers. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. We order drinks soon as we had menus and they arrived quickly. We ordered our food straight after receiving our drinks. Wait wasn't long till our mains arrived. In between we had lovely and very tasty bread. Food was incredible, I was very hungry so it's probably contributed to the food feedback. Overall was very good, so thank you.

Fabulous food and great staff that make you relaxed and welcoming. We both made that we were part of the family at at home

Always a great place to eat with friends and family. Large selection of traditional food served with a smile. The place is always clean and bright with a good atmosphere.

Had a fantastic meal at this restaraunt, the food was aromatic and stunningly presented. The atmosphere was lovely in a quaint place outside the main city. The view of the kitchen added excitement. The thing that really topped it off was the absolutely amazing service, the waiter was so lovely and welcoming, knowledgeable of the area and was pleasant to converse with. The staff and the chefs were just lovely and heightened the experience of the food. Absolutely will be coming back when in the area!

This truly is the faulty towers of restaurants . They have 8 tables with 6 members of staff so not very busy and this is what we received. We order two starters and 2 mains 1) burnt bread received and tasted awful 2) our starters were sent to the wrong table 3) while eating started both our mains arrived at the same time. 4) then the cutlery were taken so we couldn’t eat the main. 5) other table had the same issue with mains arriving while eating starter 6) staff unhappy and rude. 8) I told the owner of the experience and he said thank you no apology just thanks0 9) rice over cooked and salad was awful

Good atmosphere the most friendly staff, delicious food and the bread is unreal. We were totally suprised and didn’t expect any entertainment but there was belly dancing. Felt like we were on holiday.

Had a lovely dinner with my family after a long day at Chessington World of Adventures Resort . Great food and service.

The new management that took over this restaurant a month ago and completely killed the service. We were frequent customers of Hanedan for the past 4 years on a monthly basis for its impeccable BBQ skills thanks to its chef and splendid Turkish client oriented service that reminded us of İstanbul and Turkish attention to clients. The new team were not Turkish, lacked any knowledge of what they were serving and how service should be done. It looked like a bunch of students hired last moment to work in a restaurant without being trained to service clients in a restaurant that had a splendid customer service for years. As result pure disappointment despite the same BBQ chef keeping the grill standards. But no way we would get back there to eat. Only home deliveries. Goodbye Hanedan.

Our experience was super! We are on a family trip and we had a great time in this restaurant. The staff were so nice and they had a lot of patience with us (we were a big group with people that didn't understand english). The food was awesome. I really recommend it!!

Nice meal, good portion sizes. Some gluten free options but could do more for the dietary requirements especially as the humus was not gluten free.

Wanted to have lunch. Checked the times & website said it was open. Drove there, paid the car park & walked to the restaurant only to find it was closed. No stars for not correcting the website.

We were staying in the area for the races and hadn’t booked. We walked by this restaurant and although it looked busy called in on the off chance they could fit us in (4 of us) and they did and we were so glad. The hospitality and service was second to none and the food was exceptional. The menu was very varied and we all chose different starters so we could share and have a taste of many things and it was all so tasty. All of our mains were of a really good portion size and very tasty. The waitress kept apologising for keeping us waiting as they were busy but we didn’t feel like we had been kept waiting at all and service was excellent. The only thing I am sorry for is that we are not from the area otherwise I think we would be there every week it was so good. Would definitely recommend this restaurant as super tasty food and great service.

Not S good as previous visit, brought starter and mains together which is not ideal, chicken wing skins not crispy, disappointed and will probably not go back, also think it was a different chef to the last time we visited.

My husband and I popped in this evening for a quick meal. I only wanted a chicken salad, it was huge! The salad dressing was amazing, I asked what it was made with, it was pomegranate. Service was excellent, they were super friendly and attentive. I will definitely be back.

Reviewing whilst eating! Love the combination shish, always great! Being of Turkish heritage it's always a good sign when you enjoy the food! Definitely recommend!

Best Turkish food 👌 Great staff 👍 Been there with a big group of friends and everyone absolutely loved it 👍😋 If only you add a bit of colours to the restaurant will be perfect ( like red table cloth) We will be there again soon 😋

The lunch menu lets you choose 2 items for £15 or £20 for three. The bread and the mixed grill were superb.

Very delicious food and great service! Very flexible choice from menu - I had two yummy starters as a main course - Baba Ghanoush and Sigara Borek.

Six of us went to the Elvis night, there was a fixed menu £30 very poor. The evening was fantastic but on further inspection of the bill we noticed the following day we had been charged for two extra bottles of white wine, one bottle of red and an extra glass of wine. It took two trips to the restaurant and a phone call. Before we got a refund with no remorse or apology. I think this happens quiet a lot , be careful.

The food is nice here and the restaurant has a great atmosphere. However delivery from here is poor. The food doesn’t arrive warm and they don’t state what food is out of stock. There is room for improvement on deliveries and ordering.

We ate as a group at this restaurant. I found the staff friendly and helpful, the menu extensive with plenty of choice for all tastes. House wine was very nice and there were cocktails avaialble for the more adventurous amongst us. The food was tasty and served in good sized portions, some Turkish specials were avaiable or there are also burgers,lasagne and salads on the menu. The atmosphere was busy with several families eatng together and some groups celebrating Christmas. I would like to return to try some different dishes. Would recommend to others.

Il cibo è spettacolare come al solito. Poco da dire, infatti, sul cibo dato che è sempre meraviglioso. L'unica cosa è il servizio. Il cameriere di turno non sembrava avesse voglia di stare lì. Si capisce che si possa avere una brutta giornata, siamo umani, ma il suo malumore ha infettato anche noi. Siamo entrati felici e siamo usciti tristi.

THIS PLACE NEEDS TO CLOSE. Horrible experience left my younger sister in tears. The owner/manager was incredibly rude to the point we walked out. Thank you to the bar manager who apologised and offered to buy our group a cocktail. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Food was delicious fresh and great portion size on home delivery. It's a 5 stars from me. Will definitely order again and I got free bread and dips with my order too.. I'm a happy customer 😊

The hummus and baba ganoush were the best I’ve ever tasted, served with fresh bread. The Chicken Beyti was fantastic. Everything had so much flavour. Our server, “Ossy” was both professional and friendly.

Mid week lunch booking for 4 people as Birthday lunch. Great service, great food at a fair price. Our server couldn't have done any more for us. Very polite and attentive staff. Will be back there very soon.

Polite and friendly staff. An early evening meal as we were heading out to the theatre, so I cant say what it is like when its busy. Food was good although portions were a bit small for me. Will definitely visit again but will need to choose wisely so as to feel more full up. We chose from the spring special menu, so maybe the portions are smaller as its cheaper? Well worth a visit though. 4 starters, 4 mains and about 6 alcoholic drinks for £88.

I’m not keen on loud noise and can live without the belly dancing. But reasonably priced and it maybe more suited to others.

Absolutely love this place! The staff are always so friendly and welcoming, the food always delicious and fresh! Their bread is just amazing, I’ve yet to have a disappointing meal here. Good wine and beers as well, it’s our go to for date nights and meals out with friends.

I ate here this evening with 5 friends, we took advantage of their mid week meal deal. £23 per head for a 3 course meal with drinks. Food was fantastic, tasty and hot, highly recommended! Turkish bread and wine was wonderful.

Ordered calamari, £6-95 3 overdone rings , I’m Not gonba go on about how everything was so sub standard , just that my wife had the sultans delight it was like a sheep had (s—-) on the plate , she had to have a day off work the next day as unwell expensive tiny portions and well , we will never go back poor quality !

Lovely food and service good selection of starters which were all nice, dolmas halloumi chicken wings , hummus with lamb was incredible, moussaka and the grilled meat feast for 2 was more than enough for four as a main. Moussaka was different but very delicious, seasoned well and home made. Good draught beer. Get stuck in 👌

We had a fantastic time here and the food was fantastic! The portions were huge and breads & pickles plentiful. We did find the wine very expensive...it was only a Mateus Rose but over £20.... The staff are attentive, efficient and friendly. We will definitely be returning.

Very delicious Turkish food. We came here after a long hike in the Surrey Hills. We had the mixed grill between the two of us. The homemade pomegranate sauce for the bread was especially tasty! The meat was all perfectly cooked & juicy. Service was also polite & friendly. Would visit again.

Really nice food. I have tried so many Turkish restaurants in London, but this was definitely one of the best one. A bit shy on starters though when compared to other Turkish restaurants. Staff really friendly, highly recommend it.
