Koza Bar Kitchen in Epsom and Ewell

Best place in Epsom! The staff are amazing and so friendly it was such a good vibe. The food is unbelievable and i keep coming back for the cocktails.

I went to Koza on a Friday night with 2 friends of mine. Strong tasty cocktails is always a good way to start the night. We decided on a few starters to share (tapas style) instead of a heavier main meal each. We started with some bread and tzatziki. One of my friends is gluten free so they gave her her own bread for this. The usual flat bread was so yum as well as the dip. We then went on to share the halloumi, sausage, garlic mushroom and butterfly prawns. None of the dishes disappointed. Quick service. Cooked to perfection. Insane flavours. Compliments to the chef and will definitely be returning due to the insanely tasty delicious food! Iberahim was our server and he was brilliant! Shot each on the house at the end was the perfect end to our dining experience. We were all so happy with this meal, especially the fact they cater so well to gluten intolerance.

Going to say this on behalf of many people who have visited, you need to stop filming people for social media without their consent. I have avoided visiting this place because a number of friends have said someone walked around videoing and it ended up of social media without their consent. Let people relax when they are eating out.

We visited the restaurant on Sunday for a Bottomless Brunch with some friends. It was a great value for money. Delicious food, great choice of cocktails and a friendly service. Umut really looked after us and we ended up staying for 6 hours! Will definitely be back. Thank you

Lovely and warm atmosphere with a scrumptious selections of outstanding and authentic Turkish cuisine and a special shout-out to the warm and welcoming bartender Erhan. He looked after us all night and with a lovely bright smile that accompanied our drinks and food . Thank you once again

Our family loves Koza Bar Kitchen. The last couple of years, this is our favourite restaurant for special occasions. The atmosphere is nice. The service is high quality. My child has allergies, and the staff always make sure everything is safe for him. The food is amazing and delicious! There is a variety of fish and meat. There are even mocktails for people who don't drink alcohol. Great place and amazing food!

Me and my wife went there and we were treated to very warm welcoming and the food was so flavourful and delicious. Would definitely go back and recommend this place.

Great service and atmosphere but sadly my kleftico was not like the usual. More like one I'd brought from lidl. I would eat there again but choose more carefully.

Beautiful place, great food and service

We visited for a special occasion and everything was top notch. The staff is really nice and attentive, going above and beyond to provide excellent service. Food was also lovely, we ordered some hot starters and chicken shish, highly recommend the roasted goat cheese! Will definitely be back.

Is this restaurant worth a visit? Definitely YES! One of the best restaurants in the area. During our visits we were always greeted by friendly and kind staff. They have a wide selection of food here, there is something for everyone. Grilled (charcoal) chicken, lamb, fish, steaks, burgers, pasta, but also something for vegetarians and vegans. The prices for the food match the quality. It's definitely not expensive here. We will definitely visit again next time.

Went in tonight, service was to be honest average at best and they weren't busy so no excuse. Food was again okay at best, pickled cucumbers was half 75p jar of baby gherkins for £8 plus. House wine was okay but massively overpriced. Biggest issue is price, can get a far, far better meal locally for a lot less money. Charging high premium prices for mid range food and low end service.

I would like to take the time to say that our experience tonight was outstanding the food was delicious and fresh and the service from all was amazing so friendly and kind but the waiter Erin stood out by far with his lovely nature we will defo be coming back for my mum’s birthday 🥳

I was pleasantly surprised by my visit. I didn’t expect much going in, but everything exceeded my expectations. The food came out quickly, piping hot, and was extremely flavorful. The portions were generous. Service was great, staff were friendly and really helpful in recommending both food and drinks. The only downside was the state of the toilets; they could have been cleaner. I suspect the waiting staff also handle cleaning, and when that’s the case, sometimes the toilets don’t get the attention they need. Overall, a great experience, and I’d definitely return.

Service was really slow. Stir fried octopus was served like a mini stew with not a jot of fresh mango on it. The seafood stew tasted the same as the spicy (no spicy) octopus starter. Didn’t expect my over cooked sea bass fillets to be fried but then I guess I should have asked!

It was absolutely lovely. The food was really tasty, well prepared, and presented. The cocktails were delicious. Definitely a recommendation to frie as and family

Amazing food and brilliant service

Lovely setting. Tables well spaced and food was good. Why a 4? Set menu (3 course for £40) offered and had to ask for a la carte as we didn’t really want dessert. Service was the key down. Asked for water - it didn’t come. Asked for coffee - it didn’t come. Asked for the bill - it didn’t come. Had to ask for cutlery for main course. Table not wiped down after main. When you caught the attention of the staff they were great but just had to follow up on everything as it didn’t come first time.

So 90, give or take, Epsom Rock Choir members descended on Koza Dec 12. We had the most amazing experience, service was immaculate, food great, cocktails their usual faultless quality. We made some (musical) noise for sure, good noise...staff and Rockies had a ball. Thank you to all.

Food was good, have been here previously under different management & it was significantly better but no complaints really there. We went for a friend’s birthday bottomless brunch & were pushed at the end to say how long we’d be staying for as the table was for 90 minutes and no longer, despite most of us under the impression it was 2 hours. The main problem was the worker Alex, him among other male waiters & kitchen staff made a point of hovering around our table (of 7 females) and staring which proved to be uncomfortable, although Alex claimed he was trying to keep a close watch on a female waitress who was serving us, presumably because she’s new or inexperienced. He was stood around some point of the table for a large majority of the time we were there & was openly rude to a lot of us, making completely unnecessary and unkind comments. It should be noted their main menu & main drinks menu are both extensive, however the bottomless brunch menu consists of only 4 main course options & 6 cocktails.

The best Mediterranean restaurant I've been to. Delicious food, good size portions and a lot of interesting options (including seafood & veggies) on the menu. My partner and I both agreed we wouldn't have changed a single thing about the food. Also, very stylish place and great service.

We came here for a bottomless brunch and loved it! The food was amazing, the drinks were so quick and lovely and Erhan was our waiter, he done everything he could to make us feel welcome and he even let us pick some songs! Would definitely recommend!

Small portions. Whilst the service and waiters were fine, that doesn’t justifying the portion vs price. Have been to the competition in N Cheam and the long time veteran in Kingston and they do give bang for the buck. I left feeling that given they are counting pennies when they could easily be winning big business Gents, fill the plate and they will come .

We really enjoyed the decor, food and the staff were friendly. I had the salmon and prawn Shish and it was really tasty and my fiance enjoyed the mixed grill. There were plenty of meat, fish and veggie options.

Set meal for 2 was delicious and enjoyed banter with waiters. Each dish was so tasty , I couldn’t decide what I loved best. Would definitely return. Only downside was listening to Cher! 😂

Had a really tasty meal. I had ribeye steak and it was cooked perfectly, my partner had salmon and prawn kebab and she said it was tasty. We had baklava to finish and that took a bit too long to arrive, but the restaurant was busy... once it arrived it was worth the wait.

What a gem of a place. Popped in unannounced and was greeted immediately by the staff and was given a table. Super service, team very friendly and actually take the time to talk to you dispute them being busy. I ordered the mixed grill and couldn’t finish it, it was huge and tasted amazing, in-fact the best I’ve ever tasted. This is a must to visit you won’t be dissapointed.

Recently went as part of a work evening dinner for a group of 20-25 people. Logistically I know this is always not easy but although certain people’s food came a little later, service was polite and our orders were double-checked before they arrived. Portions are good value for money. The only caveat I’d point out is that the menu is marketed as more pan Mediterranean than specifically Turkish (you’ll find Greek dishes on there too), but that’s of course understandable given that the restaurant would need to cater to a more anglicised clientele.

Lovely restaurant. Beautiful interior, and friendly enough staff. Food was nice we had the shared platter for starter between 4 people and then various kebabs etc as a main. Nice food reasonable price and gave a student discount which is a bonus. Definitely worth a visit

This restaurant has become one of my favorites in the Epsom area. The food was delicious and came in generous portions. I couldn't even finish my main course, the chicken thigh shish, after starting with a lentil soup and their delicious warm bread. I also enjoyed a beautifully presented non-alcoholic cocktail. The prices were reasonable, and we paid the same amount for our meal as we did at a Japanese restaurant the day before, but here the portions were bigger. We also really liked the interior and the fact that the tables were spaced apart, giving us a more private dining experience. The table by the window where we were sitting was well separated from the others, which was especially important to us. Many restaurants these days have tables placed too close together, making it hard to enjoy a meal without overhearing other people's conversations. The waitstaff was also very friendly and attentive, adding to the great experience we had.

Absolutely loved it, the food was fantastic, the staff were amazing and they even did baby Guinness 🤣. I'd definitely go back and would recommend to anyone.

2nd time at this fantastic restaurant. Had a great night for son’s 18th birthday. He said the swordfish was delicious! The food is amazing and always cooked to perfection and even my grandsons loved the choice of the children’s menu. Staff are friendly, polite and very attentive. Will definitely be back!

We had a lovely meal at Koza, great service and delicious food. The lamb shank fell off the bone. The lamb casserole was full of flavour.

I have seen this place on Instagram and local Facebook page. I think newly open place in Epsom. We went there with few mates. Food was awesome! Cocktails price is OK. Atmosphere was great! I really enjoyed my lamb shish kebap and prawn cocktail. I think it is great place for special events booking.

Good location and interior. The staff were friendly but not attentive. Food was over priced in comparison to portion size and taste. We found this eatery in pursuit of finding a new (not literally but more like where we haven’t been) place for our friends meet up. We chose this place as the menu met our taste palette and their variety of vegetarian options as one of us is a vegetarian. The non-alcoholic drinks were extortionately priced… I would’ve understood if it was something mind blowing, but it was very basic. The service wasn’t attentive at all, they kept pestering for placing the order since we sat down, then got the order wrong. The food tasted OK… but again pricing was very high. You have plenty of Turkish/Mediterranean cuisine options around which would be a much better option

I have heard such good things about the restaurant I couldn’t wait to try it. Stunning restaurant, love the decoration and relaxed Mediterranean feel. Our waitress was helpful when we couldn’t decide what to order, the food was delicious and so much of it. Very reasonably priced. We also got Turkish delight when paying the bill which was a nice touch as you don’t get that many places any more. Service charge also wasn’t added to the bill which is also rare nowadays(we still left 12% as it was very much well deserved) We will definitely be back

On the Bank Holiday, 26 August 2024, I was part of the family group who celebrated my niece’s 40th Birthday Lunch at Koza bar/restaurant. It was a joyous occasion, and I was very impressed with the 5-Star service extended to us by Olga, our waitress, who went the extra mile to ensure that our food orders, and drinks were received to our satisfaction. Suffice to say, all our meals were absolutely delicious, and so were the drinks. I will not hesitate to recommend Koza bar/restaurant to friends and acquaintances.
