This was my first time visiting this restaurant. The whole evening was amazing. The service is first class, nothing is to much bother. We had the fillet and ribeye steak which was cooked to perfection and I have to say was the best quality I have ever had. We were given a complimentary drink with my bill which was both unexpected and very much appreciated. To sum up this a one of the best restaurants I have been to for a very long time. Thank you I will definitely be coming back.

Excellent experience! The staff were able to make me a mocktail on request to suit my dietary requirements. The food we really tasty and well cooked. We shared the prawn starter which was lovely and the mixed grill which was delicious and all the meat was succulent. We will be back ❤️

Went today for a Mother’s Day lunch. Staff were really lovely and friendly, service was great. I loved my cocktail! I did, however, feel let down by the food. I don’t know if we ordered the wrong thing (mixed grill) but it was just a bit basic. I’ve had much better Turkish food elsewhere. Quality was good on the lamb chop and chicken but the minced meat lamb had some crunchy bits in it as though the cartilage was in there.

The Rock Salt is a great dining restaurant in Epsom area that serves the fantastic diner with variety of beverages. The food I tried has been very delicious every time. I recommend their fish and fajitas which were well-plated and well-served in several occasions. Also, its interior atmosphere is very warm and welcoming where it is very comforting for clients especially after work hours. You might consider this local restaurant for your small parties and gatherings. As a result, I have enjoyed their food in their cozy atmosphere every time I have been there. Had a great lunch in this little restaurant today beetroot halloumi and avocado salad and my sister had the vegetarian moussaka. The food was excellent service really good. It's a shame it's not a little nearer the High Street but it is definitely worth making the effort if you're in Epsom to walk to East Street to eat in this lovely place.

Food was very nice, service was great and we came on a weekday. Have been before and would certainly come back.

Attended a private party for our great neice's first birthday. There were between 40 and 50 invitees, including several toddlers and children. Everything was very well organised and the buffet food, mostly traditional Turkish dishes, was excellent. Would strongly recommend Rocksalt for both parties and conventional dining.

Lovely experience, great food and drinks will come again

The staff were lovely and no complaints at all about speed or service. We ordered a few different mains in our group and some were certainly better than others. A couple of us went for the turkey Christmas dinner and the best way I can describe it was like being served a posh school dinner. The Yorkshire pud was from frozen, the veg were hard and the gravy watery. Meat not bad, stuffing not to our taste but nice pigs in blankets. I realise this isn’t a meal they specialise in or that’s usually served but I would rather have not had it as an option and had to choose one of their signature dishes.

Situated in Epsom, Rock Salt offers a mixed dining experience that, whilst having some merits, falls a bit short of being truly satisfying. The staff strike a suitable balance - professional and efficient without being overfamiliar - and the service moves at a respectable pace. The quality of the food is acceptable, though the portion sizes leave something to be desired. Whilst the ingredients appear to be of decent quality and the preparation competent, one might wish for more generous servings to justify the price point. However, the restaurant's most significant shortcoming lies in its architectural layout. The combination of low ceilings and tightly packed tables creates a challenging acoustic environment. On our busy evening visit, the ambient music, coupled with the overwhelming din of neighbouring conversations, created an almost unbearable cacophony. The noise levels were such that normal conversation became virtually impossible, rather spoiling what might otherwise have been a pleasant dining experience. The difficult dining environment makes it challenging to recommend, particularly for those seeking a relaxed evening meal or hoping to engage in conversation over dinner but if you prefer a loud, energetic environment then it's probably right for you.
