The place is lovely and the staff were polite.there were 4 off us ,we all had different types of food they all enjoyed there but my food that good ,I had Calamari they were greasy and tasted of fat ,my steak which was grissley but the roast potatoes very lovely .they did apologise and took the steak off the bill. Memorable visit, chilled atmosphere, easy parking, friendly staff. Everything is kept very tidy and spacious, safety risks noticeably reduced right down to minimum. Great selection of good food and drink, service is quick. Would recommend to anyone, especially for those who like pubs without much noise.

Hotel review. Awful room. Tiny with no bedside table on one side. No milk with the tea unless you go in to the pub to get it. Had to move the furniture around to plug the kettle in.

Fantastic pub and great atmosphere. The staff are really welcoming and the lovely couple who run the pub definitely do it for the right reasons. They speak so highly of their team and to me that really says a lot about them. I can’t wait to come back and visit. 100% recdomend. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

A lovely dinner with great service both dinner and breakfast. We stayed for 2 nights and used the venue to travel out from. Great stay.

Although part of a large brewery owned chain, this is a good local pub with what seems to be quite a personal approach to the menu. I had the chicken burger which was excellent, nice piece of breaded chicken, crispy coating, with perfectly cooked bacon (I.e. crispy) and grilled cheddar cheese, in a quality bun. The other meal my companion had was a steak, which was served lukewarm warm, the garlic butter on top wasn’t melting so suspect it had been sitting a while before being plated up, but they sorted it out quickly. Overall a good meal and good service, though a peppermint tea afterwards cost £3! £3 for a teabag and some hot water, it was more expensive than the coffee which at least has a processing cost.

Lovely pub however food wasn’t great. I went with a friend. She ordered the mushroom pie when served she found it to be frozen on the inside. She told a member of staff who apologised and asked if she would like anything else, she declined as a frozen pie had put her off eating completely. I ordered the steak and ale pie which was very hot on the inside but there was only 4 small pieces of meat in a rather large pie. Very disappointing lunch date. The staff did take the cost of my friends meal off the bill, however I do think they could have given her a voucher or even knocked off the price of drink ( which was a cup of tea) It seemed like the staff didn’t really care. Needless to say we will NOT be going there again.

My friend and I went to the White Hart Chalfont St Giles for lunch I ordered the Mushroom and Ale pie, it looked really lovely when it arrived. When I cut the pie open (struggled a bit) realised there wasn't much sauce /gravy, and it's because it was still frozen in the middle. The waiter apologised after I told him, but I got the feeling that the staff didn't really care.

We had a great experience at The White Hart. Atmosphere friendly, food great and staff very professional, knowledgeable and super helpful. All the staff were great but Arran and Ruby went that extra mile for us and everyone around us……..highly recommend!!!!!

Lovely friendly staff and what is probably the best breakfast in bucks! They have a new menu and what I’ve tried so far has also been excellent. Also worth mentioning is a great range of lagers and ales 🤓

Food from the kitchen was lovely as was the service by Ruby. We’ve made many previous visits including a 14 person family Sunday lunch and a family pre wedding meal. Keep up the good work.

Originally we went in for a drink but while we were there we decided to eat, the service was good they have a new menu, the food was good.

Lovely lunch with my husband on our way to the airport this afternoon. We had great service from Jamie-Leanne who was very friendly.

Having not been to the White Hart for a few years after a not so good experience, this was altogether better. The quality of the food was very good as was the service provided by Lucas and Shakthi. They were knowledgeable about the menu, attentive and good fun. We did not have to wait long for drinks or food and there were enough other diners for a pleasant ambience. Would recommend and will definitely be returning as we're not too far away.

We stayed at the White Hart a week ago with our 3 young children & could not fault it. It was a great base for us visiting friends in Waltham abbey and our room was comfortable , clean and spacious enough for a family of 5 & value for money . We had a lovely cooked breakfast each morning & while we were there we dined in the pub itself where there is plenty to choose from on the menu , the food is all freshly cooked and the staff very accommodating . We will 100% stay again when we next visit our friends .

My wife and I stopped here on the way back from the fireworks display in CSG village centre. It's a very cosy and welcoming local pub with a good drinks selection, great food and service. There are a lot of very nice dishes to choose from and the staff are very friendly and welcoming. Highly Recommended - Atlantic Cod main meal.

We went with a friend that used a walking frame. Access from the car park was very easy and the staff were very obliging sorting out our table. The menu was excellent for my wife's Lactose intolerance.
