Generally, this feedback is more about the hotel.& SPA. We had a spa & lunch booking not cheap at all. But the lunch was VERY limited, and most things cost extra ( it's not the same as last time we visited). A sandwich choice with crisps, not much else, no frills, no starter, no puds, no drink....pretty poor. And the spa!! While the facilities were good as it's been modernised. And the massage was great.. a super lady very relaxing. BUT the staff and service elsewhere were slapdash and careless. No planning or forethought had gone into our booking. When we booked our 50 mins massages for 2 of us and asked for them spaced out after our lunch, not as soon as we arrived after lunch. Well, they did just that booked us in immediately after eating. The young desk staff and apparent Customer Service Manager didn't care. Just repeated themselves parrot fashion instead of offering customer service. Brooklands Spa has gone downhill in terms of service. And I will advise people to avoid it at all costs. Even if you get a deal. Young, inexperienced staff manage your booking and apparent people steal products!! So they need your credit card before you begin. It's more like visiting Croydon than Weybridge. A sad decline of what used to be a pleasant place once upon a time.

I visited here by accident after the venue I was planning to go to was closed for a private event. Because of the name, I had assumed this place was just good for beer but I was pleasantly surprised to find a lovely, cosy pub. Yes, there is a great range of craft beer but there's also lots of other drinks on offer, and the food we ordered was lovely too (chips were particularly good, and staff were very also helpful with dietary requirements). There was a nice, friendly vibe here and would happily return again. Great size TV for football, too (there was a match on the night I visited but only a few people seemed to be watching).

We have had a lovely family meal after a long day at work. Our server Atlas was really lovely and they made sure that everything was just right with our meal. Molly the manager was really nice too and even though we hadn’t booked a table she managed to find us a table almost straightaway. Thank you also to Poppy and Martin for making our lovely dinner.

We came here with friends for lunch. The service was shocking, our waiter kept on disappearing & forgetting about us. When our lunch arrived, we were shocked at how tiny the portion was. For £18 I’d expect a reasonable meal to fill me up. Overall, very disappointed by the experience and won’t be coming back

We needed something quick, tasty and easy. We decided to pop in to Stonehouse in Peacehaven and glad we did. Tasty pizza, very fresh turkey sandwich and beers ok too. Shame there's no real ale. Top tip, try to get Nicola to serve you. She was terrific

My partner swore that the burger she had (the American) was the best she'd ever eaten. I could not argue. Very tender, perfectly medium rare, it was excellent. Only cause to grumble was that the chips were very salty and the "skin-on fries" were not really "skin-on". In fact could not see any skins at all and succulent !

Thank you to the team, especially Coco who kept going through difficult times. It is so good to be getting back to normal, there are still difficulties with deliveries which is hitting everywhere at the moment. If something isn’t available then there is plenty more to choose from.

Alas no longer the Melrose. It has belonged to The Regency (next door) for some years and they decided to call it by an Italian name but it is still run as the old Melrose but with fewer dishes and prices still the same as next door. For years we though they were rivals, but no, same food, interchangeable waiters and, as always much emptier than next door.

We were staying in Shoreham-By-Sea for the weekend and I came across this pub on Tripadvisor. I was a little apprehensive after reading some reviews and seeing the prices but I shouldn’t have been as it was worth every penny as everyone really enjoyed it. The atmosphere was perfect for a family Sunday Roast. Although it was busy the service was great and the food excellent. Between the family we had lamb, beef and pork and all were delicious. Personally it was the best roast lamb I have ever had! I would highly recommend this pub if you are looking for a great Sunday Roast.

We called in to the Elm tree on Saturday as it looked a lovely place for lunch. The waitress was very friendly and welcoming but the food was very disappointing. The ‘Caesar’ salad had miles too much dressing making it too acidy to enjoy and the extra chicken on it was extremely dry. The basic burger was also dry, small and charred on one side. The chips were nice! Not sure we’ll bother again despite the pleasant ambiance.

I don’t typically leave reviews, but after spending over £180 for a disappointing meal, I feel compelled to share my experience to warn others. A group of 9 of us booked a table for dinner on Saturday evening, looking forward to catching up over a nice meal. While the service was excellent—attentive staff who frequently checked in to ensure everything was fine—unfortunately, the food did not meet expectations. I ordered the ultimate burger, and I was extremely disappointed. It lacked seasoning, was bland, and worst of all, it was made with frozen meat. The burger had no sauce, and the frozen bacon and meat made it difficult to enjoy. Others at the table ordered the curry and masala fish and chips, and those dishes were equally underwhelming, also made with frozen ingredients and lacking in flavor. We have elderly so we decided to stay and not focus on the food. Though we have a lot of leftovers because we didn't enjoy the food (even the elderly asked why the Indian can't get their curry right). Peacock Lodge, if you’re charging £18-19 for a burger, it should reflect the quality of the ingredients and preparation. There's another restaurant nearby offering a similar price range, and they do a much better job. Unfortunately, the lackluster food means we won’t be returning.
