1907 Restaurant, Bar & Grill in Elmbridge

We were gifted a hotel stay which included a 3 course dinner. The inclusive options are limited however enough to choose from. Food was surprisingly nice however a bit on the sweet side. Surprisingly, there is a service charge on the value of the TOTAL bill value (even though we only paid for our drinks. We didn't mind but just something to be wary about.

Had a great dinner with my partner, we had a rib eye steak and a vegan burger. Food was great, atmosphere was great. Jona looked after us and made us feel welcomed.

As we were staying in the adjoining hotel we booked a table here. The service was great, food was amazing and the cocktails just kept coming! The bar had a great atmosphere and friendly staff. I had steak which was perfectly cooked how I like it!

I was gifted a SPA experience with an afternoon tea for my birthday and my first time away from my newborn baby. After the SPA session we went to the restaurant for our AT. First I have to say that the staff were amazing. Once seated we had a very long wait though (people who arrived after us got served food before us). Mind you I did have a dietary requirements which I informed them about when I booked the experience too, so they should have been aware. Staff were wonderful and very apologetic even offered drinks or any item on the menu on house which was much appreciated but wouldn’t solve the issue of waiting really (I’m a BF mum so get hungry quickly especially after couple of hours at the SPA). The wait wouldn’t be the biggest issue, the dairy free option wasn’t nice. The sandwiches perhaps were ok-ish (no salmon and cream cheese or cucumber and cream cheese even though you can get vegan cream cheese in a normal supermarket so shouldn’t be an issue), but instead of cakes I was given a quartered vegan waffle (still a bit doughy in places, not nice; and it’s not difficult to make milk free cakes, I do all the time) and the scones were hard as a rock clearly overbaked. I had to ask staff to take them back which they did apologising profusely and soon after brought back fresh ones that felt like just from the oven and maybe even a bit underbaked. I appreciate that majority of patrons don’t have any dietary requirements but I would expect that the restaurant like this shouldn’t have any issue to cater to those who do. This really marred my experience (and made my partner very upset as he really wanted to treat me since I’ve been tied to my baby for the last few months and not had a chance to look much after myself). I have another voucher I was given for a package with a meal and I’m not sure what to do now as I don’t trust to have a good experience while I have a dietary requirement (my baby has a milk allergy - one of the most common allergies out there- and while I BF I am on a diet for him). I’m sad as I was really looking forward to enjoying this experience. P.s. my friend who joined me and has no food restrictions said that her AT was lovely.

Have had dinner here several times and would be happy to go back again. Whilst it's a bit on the expensive side the quality of the food does warrant the outlay. The staff are attentive and look after you without being overly attentive. The menu caters for vegetarian and vegan tastes and has a good selection. The wine menu also has a choice. I would recommend a visit to the 1907 bar and grill.

Service charge on everything. Charging you extra to go to the bar to get your own drink. We wasnt asked once what drink we would like. Incredibly slow service! Very very fatty beef on the roast dinner so dont pick this. Roast potatoes more like boiled potatoes. Starter was lovely but that was about it. The service was the most shocking thing ive ever experienced though.

Booked this restaurant for our 25th anniversary. My wife had originally booked us a table out in the glass section where she was told there would be a party finishing shortly before our time slot. When we arrived they informed us that the people had decided to prolong the party and we were moved. During this whole interaction we were waiting for about 15min just standing in the entrance for them to sort their bookings out. Nobody apologised. Once we were seated we ordered some cocktails. The cocktails we received were wrong. They let us keep their mistake and made us a new one. Then we proceeded to order dinner. A sirloin stake. We were told that no apparently the kitchen can’t cut the amount that we want from the piece, we had to take 800g. Quite confusing how this restaurant calls itself a grill and doesn’t let people in smaller numbers order what they would like. When we spoke to the waiter (who did not smile at us once since we sat down) he decided to talk to us about the price instead of how many grams we could order. I found this quite outrageous as I do not care for the price I simply wanted to understand how many grams they had available for us to order. It felt quite unprofessional and the whole situation made my wife very uncomfortable. We ended up ordering the Asian prawn dish which was quite strange and not to my liking and a burger, which was good. I would like to point out that the waiters brought us our main course before serving our starters and when we pointed this out they seemed quite confused as to why we would expect our starters to come first. Quite strange. Finally having worked in hospitality myself I would like to point out a few things that I noticed. For a restaurant of this ranking I have to heavily criticise the training of their staff. The waiters were not smiling, not attentive nor ready to help. One woman in particular kept dropping things from cutlery to dishes and even food. Once the food landed on the floor the rest of the staff just stepped on it repeatedly for about 15min before someone decided to clean it up. It was quite disgusting. Lastly I would like to point out that they did take off some of our drinks and starters from the bill which of course is quite nice but I simply do not appreciate when establishment do this instead of actively trying to make the customer experience better. This was a special day for my wife and me and we had the whole family there with us, the whole experience at this restaurant was quite a disappointment.

Lovely evening at the 1907 Bar and Grill Bit of a queue to get seated but the restaurant was busy so that was ok and the friendly welcome was great. We were created by David who introduced the wine list and had the most amazing knowledge and story telling about the wine. This was really impressive and made for a great start, talk in g about his personal experience of the vineyard and owner of Ciro wine, David was a 10/10-superb! Peter presented the steak and was superb, great knowledge and presentation, really delivered the experience well. Overall all the food was stunning, wine and the story behind the wines for David , excellent and other people like Peter really an asset to your team . I hope that Agnieszka can improve her , service approach and knowledge of the steak offer as the restaurant is a quality offer and the service needs to match the expectation and price. Spending time with David and Peter will help greatly, as they were 10/10. Agnieszka, is very hard working and I'm sure with time her service will match that of her colleagues. This prevented me scoring a 5 out of 5. But the food overall was superb to congratulations.

Breakfast was lovey, need more staff

Not much option if your are at the Mercedes Benz World where we had a conference. So, we booked this place for after event dinner - we were given table at their newly opened glass house! The weather was great and we enjoyed the atmosphere. The service was a bit slower and nothing to complain about the food.

Good food if a bit overpriced. Staff pleasant but service was slow to start. Took at least 20mins to get drinks at start. We had to wave arms around to get attention. It’s not special at all.

Nice, ambient atmosphere. I had dinner package as part of my hotel stay with the 3 course meal mostly of it pleasant. Rib eye steak was cooked exactly as asked however I choose rice and corn salsa as a side. Not that it was not tasty but it certainly wasn’t what I expected when it came out. The rice really felt a bit ‘uncle Ben’s’ for me and the corn salsa was basically 2 bits of shaved corn so I personally would avoid this side dish Other than that dishes are well presented but my opinion is the taste just fell short of its presentation

First time dined here and we had such a great experience. Staff are so lovely and hospitable, food was delicious, great atmosphere would definitely return. Bar is really nice and relaxing too for drinks. Plenty of free parking.

We have eaten in the 1907 restaurant as part of our stay at the excellent Brooklands hotel. On every occasion we have enjoyed very good food and even better service. All staff without exception are polite and are always helpful when helping with menu choice. I would certainly recommend eating here when staying at the hotel

The food was indescribably good. My taste buds were blown out of this world. The atmosphere was very nice and relaxing. Great location with beautiful decor. The service was extremely friendly, but very disorganised. We were asked every 3 minutes by different servers to order even if we had already offered, and the starter was brought out twice to us. It made it hard to have a conversation at the table. However they were all extremely friendly and polite. Update: I forgot to mention I would highly recommend the: Sour dough bread, Pork Belly, Cheese cake, and the Chicken Burger.

Went for afternoon tea staff pleasant slow service food ok if a bit stodgy

We were quite disappointed with both food and service at the restaurant. We were a big group dining for a birthday celebration and looking at the menu and prices, we initially thought the food would be great. I ordered mussels and I most say I still can’t believe a chef made that, it was unfortunately tasteless and the sauce was more like warm cloudy water and I noticed another table were also disappointed and asked if there’s another sauce that can be added to give some flavour to the food. The service was rather slow and it was hard to even get water, they seemed understaffed but the staff were helpful and lovely when you finally get their attention. To then be charged almost £20 for parking at the end just made the whole experience even worse.

Eating here as local hotspot. Food, staff, service great. Staff are warm sincere and knowledgeable ofvthe menu. Highlights are 3 cheese souffle and the pistachio souffle. Not to be missed. The new chocolate mousse with cherry compote is a revelation. Hats off to Chef and team.

I also stayed in the Hotel and all was well except my room carpet was not vacuum cleaned, my room service breakfast next day came without a butter knife and teaspoons. There was no menu in the room. Neither a physical one nor a digital.

Very decent restaurant inside the Brooklands Hotel. Food is generally good with a good selection of wines. The steak here is good. I tried the Fish & Chips today, the fish was firm, chunky & juicy. The mushy beans was very tasted too. Service was quick and the waitress serving me was friendly and attentive. The bar offers a good selection of wine, liquor & cocktails, great place to hang out after dinner.

The restaurant looks great but for the money it really isn’t. Chateaubriand at 115 was mediocre and the cocktails poor.

Went for a family Xmas day lunch, a lovely trendy hotel, greeted on arrival with a glass of bubbly, shown to a nice table. Our starters very all nice, but surprised that no bread roll offered and had to ask for butter for one very small piece of toasted bread which went with the soup, we all had the turkey main which was tasty but only just warm and one of our portions the turkey was rather fatty. Desserts nothing to right home about very average, our grandson didn’t even get offered his dessert of ice cream. To finish we had a small cheeseboard but had to ask for crackers as arrived with none. Also surprised that coffee wasn’t offered within the price had to pay extra. We should have complained but being Xmas Day we didn’t bother and just wanted a nice stress free family lunch. All in all the atmosphere was very nice, a jolly Santa etc. and quick service, but overpriced for what you got just a bit disappointed, we came here a few years ago and the food was by far superior.

Dinner was amazing (a little pricey but good) Breakfast on the other hand needs improving.

We had a nice and relaxing lunch. The food was good and the service was good. I had the fish and chips, and it was very good, and the portion was large. Restaurang and toilette were very clean. We will definitely be back. The only letdown was that you had to pay for parking after a certain time. We would have a drink in the bar after but we left instead.

Four of us had afternoon tea bit disappointed very little sandwiches and too many cake's that were much to sweet

I had an excellent breakfast experience at 1907 Resturant bar &grill , thanks to the exceptional service from Jonna. Her warm and attentive approach made our morning special. We came here for afternoon tea as part of a large group. Our dietary requirements were well-catered for and the food was good. There was plenty of space for us all to sit and we were not rushed. Staff were friendly and helpful. Only comment would be that the music was a bit loud (difficult for some of our elderly family members to hear each other) but it was turned down slightly when we asked. Also, the selection of teas could have been a bit wider when comparing with other afternoon tea venues. But all in all, this is a good place to stop off after spending time at Brooklands museum.

Nice food and a good space for a business lunch

Nothing thrilling at all the are better restaurants at this price point. Starters arrived in about 20 mins, our drinks after 40 mins, reason was there were groups of other ppl ordering drinks and I guess they considered them move important. When I made the booking that my wife is pregnant and it’s her birthday. There was no effort made on this point throughout the entire visit. My chicken ballotine was dry as was my wife’s chicken milanese. I came here years back when it was good and busy. Now it’s lame tired and under staffed. Save your money and go elsewhere like the Brooks restaurant or the Victoria, both are close by and will be much better in food and service.

The food was very good and the staff were very proffessional and helpful. There is a very good selection of starters and mains, but the deserts are to die for.

£24 for a totally average chicken burger and fries is ridiculous. It either needs to be significantly better for that price or be a more reasonable price. Experience no better than ok.

I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a good gluten-free or egg free afternoon tea. They were very accommodating with our different allergies. Service was with a smile, and they squeezed our large group in even though we didn't have reservations. Portions were generous, and everyone needed a doggy bag. Great value for money!

Average food, slightly overpriced for what is served. The restaurant is modern design, but suffers from teh same issue as most hotel restaurants in that the piped music is simply too loud and imposes upon conversation. Alos being a hotel restaurant please do not "dress up" for diiner as so many dinner guest from the hotel wesr t-shirts and shorts. In summary if you wish to pay £60 -£80 per haed and sit with loud music, fellow diners in shorts, and be served average food then this is the place to go. The staff sadly lacked any form of social interaction, possibly a smile or two would not go amiss with guests. As a final straw make sure dinner last no longer than 3 hours or car parking charges come into effect, even though the car park may be two thirds empty.

The restaurant is smart and the menu comprehensive it stops there Had booked a table for 7.30 shown to table all ok had to ask waiting staff twice for the wine list which we got at least 15 minutes later why we didn’t get it with the food menu who knows. Starters took about 30/40 minutes to arrive, we where not asked we would like more drinks We left the restaurant at 10pm I think is a fairly long time just for 2 people Either need more staff or don’t have t everyone come at the same.

We stayed for a secret escape package and cannot recommend enough. The food was devine and staff were so attentive. We would definitely eat here again

We had dinner here for three nights during our stay at the wonderful Brooklands Hotel. The menu was comprehensive, we had a wide variety of dishes during our stay and all were excellent, well cooked with generous portions, especially the Eaton mess for desert! The staff were friendly and professional offering advice when requested. Would thoroughly recommend

Absolutely wonderful meal this evening at the 1907. The service was perfect (attentive, welcoming, helpful) and the food was exquisite - great choice, well presented and absolutely delicious.

We stopped here last week. We booked afternoon tea and dinner here. But after the afternoon tea we cancelled the dinner. The scones, etc, were awful. So dry and hard. The service was also slow.

Breakfast is very good at this hotel, but we now dont eat here at night as the menu is limited and vastly overpriced, so we nip into Weybridge at night. The staff are good and attentive but again the drinks are expensive.

We visited Brooklands for my Husbands 50th birthday - The restaurant started well with a delicious starter and main course. Unfortunately when we ordered dessert the problems started! Half an hour after ordering we asked how long they would be as only 4 tables left occupied in restaurant - 15 minutes later - the wrong desserts appeared - once which contained the allergen I had alerted them to when we arrived. They did apologise and eventually delivery the ordered dessert - but it put a real damper on the weekend and was very disappointing - no once seemed to take responsibility and we were told there had been an accident in the kitchen?

We had a great lunch at this restaurant at brooklands hotel. The staff were excellent and very accommodating and the service was excellent. The food was very good and well presented. The selection of artisan breads was superb and tasted great.

Staff slow, cocky and not wanting to do their job. A few asks for things and nothing came. They charged us for fries that never came and didn't want to refund there. Terrible service. Food wasn't the best and too expensive for half reheated foods.

I was an external guest and went for some breakfast with my young daughter. Everyone was super friendly and welcoming. Had a great eggs Benedict, and beautiful coffee. Would definitely return thanks 👍

We came to the 1907 restaurant during our stay at the Brooklands hotel (which is lovely), and had a bought a package which had dinner included. Food was not awful, just not anything special. Granted, myself and my partner both ordered a starter which was not included in our package, so expected to pay about £15 extra. I'm sure you could imagine our faces when we were faced with a bill of £45, ontop of what we payed for our package. The majority of this was service charges, which are separate for food and drink, which shocked me considering we both had 1 glass of Prosecco which as included in our package, whilst we were also charged £5 for two glasses of water, in which we didn't ask for, however accepted as we thought that we wouldn't incur any charge from. As I said, this place does provide a satisfactory service, however, between the average food and impolite service, the price is immoral.

Previously we had nice afternoon tea here for a special occasion so came back for lunch. Frankly the food is just average (compared with good pubs and restaurants around this area) whilst the price is higher. A very nice environment though.

Me and my girlfriend had a stay in the hotel and had dinner (2 chicken burgers) Easily the best we'd ever had. I had a corona on draught and my girlfriend had a few cocktails she really enjoyed. Overall the experience was lovley the waitress and waiter were very nice and very skilled. It was great

We had dinner here as part of a Groupon package for a 3-course meal. The package options were not great in my view for a 'dinner' (mainly veg starters and burger mains) and the majority of the decent options required a supplement to be paid so we had Lamb and steak for an extra £15 each and extra £3 for mussels to start. I could not fault the food, presentation was great and the flavours were perfect! Also drinks and cocktails for £15 each (which I thought was quite pricey but tasted great). The ambiance was great and catered well for kids. The only let down was on the service as it took a long time for our orders to be taken each time for drinks, food then desert. Then everytime each course was served, we were missing the cutlery required and had to ask for it e.g. no steak knife, pudding without spoons provided. I would definitely come back and hope the service side improves.

I honestly have nothing bad to say, the staff were so lovely. Very nice, helpful and accommodating. The food was very nice and filling, especially the Korean chicken starter and the apple and berry crumble.

A great ambiance for dinner. We stayed at the hotel and had an inclusive dinner package. Whilst certain dishes come with a supplement, there is still a decent selection from the menu. Food was very tasty. The quality of the breakfast was also very good. Would love to come back again.

We visited after having a track experience with Mercedes World next door for my husband's birthday. Very nicely cooked food. We had octopus, goats cheese, steak and pork chop both served with chunky chips and salad and we were too full for dessert! The pork chop was outstanding! The restaurant is in a hotel, and the view is of the car park, which was disappointing. I was hoping it was on a higher floor with a view over the race track next door. Staff were friendly and efficient, the bar area was fabulous with lots of choices of spirits and wines. The Virgin Mojito was delicious! Seems a very nice restaurant for the hotel guests, maybe not for a special occasion. The staff did give us a lovely table though and decorated a plate with a mini dessert which was very kind.

Really wonderful service, super tasty food with a good couple vegan options aswell! Definitely a good place to be if you’re looking for a nice celebration meal out.

Website allows bookings at 21:45. Made booking for 09/06/2022 at 21:45, which was accepted by their page. Arrived to the restaurant and a very disrespectful waiter at the entrance was telling us kitchen was closed, without further excuses or apologies and blatantly disregarding the booking confirmation I had. Completely ruined a night out with my wife. Would not come back. Recommend to avoid. Waiters do not know how to treat customers respectfully.

Very overpriced for what they offer. I had octopus and it was the tiniest dish very, followed by steak which was fatty. The wine was great and by far the nightlight. Really disappointing meal.

Wonderful hospitality Good variety

진짜 너무너무 마음에 들었다. 물론 바 only. 조식은 눈물나게 노맛이었음 I love every moment I spent there. But only at the night at the bar, not the breakfast hours. The bartender was kind and suggest was great too. I only could have packs of crisps but still, the drink was good. They have amazing IPA and other local beer on tap. I highly recommend the bar.

Extremeley disappointing experience. 4 of us went for Mothers Day Afternoon, greeted warmly, once seated @ table were asked to confirm any alergies , I confirmed my (cheese) alergy and the server confirmed my afternoon tea wouldnt contain any cheese items, and she also confirmed tea & coffee refills could be had just to ask ! ! When the afternoon tea arrived , it contained 4 sandwich fingers containing cheese ! ! ! which was very annoying as my allergy had been confirmed , tried getting a servers attention which proved to be almost impossible , so I just gave the offfeding sandwich fingers to my other guests. That being said ALL of the sandwiches had very little filling it seemed like the filling had been put in then scrapped off again... The scones were lovley & warm and served with Jam & Lemon curd , the lemon curd was gorgeous ... Mid way through eating we needed more tea & coffee .... it took us over 15 mins to manage to get the attention of servers, mainly de to the fact of the bad position of our table & the fact that there were very few servers on duty ! ! We eventually managed to order and then waited almost as long for it to arrive.... eventually left all very underwhelmed , and in agreement that our experience didnt live up to expectations or costs ! ! Had been wanting to try this place for a while , now really wish we hadn't

There were eight of us for Sunday lunch. The first thing you are greeted with is to deal with parking. There is a decent car park at the front of the hotel but it doesn’t feel like the hotel car park with its payment machines...

Lovely decor with very stylish nods to the car racing and aircraft history of Brooklands. A nice wind down bar and restaurant for me after a hard day at the office. The @brooklands_hotel is also great for it conference facilities , spa days and overnight stays

We combined the restaurant with a stay at the hotel as a get away for the night, the whole experience was fantastic. The food was good, the prices are fair for the quality and the staff are very good.
