Beautiful Venue with caring people

We went here for dear Beryl's Wake. It was Lovely excellent buffet food was delicious. I learnt a trick recently when you make scones when you've cut out each scone you must turn them over it stops them from tilting. I haven't done it yet but I'm gonna try it. The staff were very pleasant indeed. I would come here again. Thankyou If you try the scones like I suggested let me know if it worked for you.

Stunning weather and new course didn't disappoint

Had a round with a member mid summer. The courses are in fine condition. The New course is under estimated. Beautifully structured with challenging dog leg holes and excellent greens. Was a bit underwhelmed with the service. Seems to be run by a team of but very well-trained part timers who were not sure about kitchen times. Atmosphere was a bit tense Not quite the warm welcome a clubhouse or members deserve. Some poor member was unbraided for wearing his cap in the bar. A gentler more friendly approach would have been more in keeping with this level of club than a muttering scowling complaint.

This is a wonderful golf club. Beautiful entrance leading to the gorgeous clubhouse where you will be met by a friendly receptionist and always helpful restaurant/bar staff. The course is very enjoyable for higher handicappers.

Lovely course, great service and the staff is very kind

As the flagship home of the Burhill group the clubhouse and facilities at the site are modern and user friendly. The clubhouse is a coverted stately home type buliding and finished to a lovely standard. The practice facilities are good with a multi bay range and practice green. I didn't see a specific chipping green or practice bunker so don't know whether they have one or not but you can practice low short running chips on the putting green. The pro shop is well stocked and as with the whole experience, the staff were helpful and friendly. I only played the Old Course which was a perfectly well maintained parkland course but to be honest rather lacked any character. There were no real beautiful holes or picturesque views other than looking across the course is mostly flat and interspersed with good tree coverage. Whilst it is longer than your average course, that was the main defence. The fairways were wide with trees separating them but there was still plenty of space to spray a driver around. The rough was quite punishing and the first cut was of a length that meant there was a decent challenge making a good contact with the ball but was not so difficult as to impede play. There were some nice shaped holes with dog legs, providing challenges and a few tight approach shots, but nothing that was particularly challenging. Overall, I found the course to be a nice well-presented fairly standard parkland course which was slightly more interesting on the back nine with the introduction of some undulation. This however, was missing on the first nine holes giving it a rather mundane experience. The group i played with all had similar views. We enjoyed the course. The greens and fairways were all in great condition and consistent however we would not rush back to play the old course and don't think that it represents great value for a stand alone round. I am however hoping to play the new course at some point in the future, which i am assured will have more of a championship feel. The old course i would score a 7 out of ten as a nice long parkland course with the club house and friendly staff bringing the score up a notch to 4 stars.

I had the absolute pleasure of visiting Burhill Golf Club, and I must say, it was a truly exceptional experience! The course was immaculately maintained, with lush green fairways and challenging holes that tested my skills. The staff were friendly and welcoming, providing top-notch service from start to finish. .But what really stood out was the warm and inviting atmosphere - it felt like a true community of golf enthusiasts. I would highly recommend Burhill Golf Club to anyone looking for a fantastic golfing experience. 5 stars isn't enough - I'd give it 10 stars if I could! Can't wait to come back and play again soon!

Played the Old Course as part of a charity day. Really pleasant to play with wide fairways and greens that rolled true and fast. The course is enjoyable for higher handicappers whilst still making you think your way around. The pro shop was well stocked with better than usual products including clothing lines.

Nice surroundings. Pleasant staff that go out of their way to help you. Relaxed atmosphere and good food.

I played the Old Course and really enjoyed it. Great layout and a good test without being too long. The course was in excellent condition considering the amount of rain over the last few months. Greens were fast and smooth with some challenging slopes at times. Lovely clubhouse as well.

This is such a lovely golf club. Beautiful entrance leading to a stunning clubhouse where you will be met by a friendly receptionist and always helpful restaurant/bar staff. Food is always fresh and of high quality. There is nothing better than their beautiful outside terrace to enjoy the warmer weather and watch the golfers finishing their round on the 18th. Plenty of practice facilities that are always maintained to a high standards. Its clear that the greenkeepers take a great pride in it and take great care of the facilities as well as 2 lovely golf courses.

2nd time to visit burhill and never disapoints, from the clubhouse staff, the catering and the shop staff all brilliant, The course was in top condition and can't get wait to go back ,, fairways like carpets ,

The team at Burhill made a potentially difficult funeral wake, a memorable event. The events department respond promptly, and and are keen to find solutions to any issues or requests. On the day they worked closely with the general manager and catering staff. There was always someone on hand to ensure things ran smoothly. I would certainly recommend this venue.

36 holes, never a problem getting out. Historic clubhouse. WWII bouncing bombs designed upstairs by Barns Wallis.

We held a Celebration of Life Reception at Burhill Golf Club for our late father Ned Ruffle. The organisation and support provided by the staff especially Kayleigh Smith was absolutely outstanding. The guidance on menus, room layout was really helpful and we were delighted with how well the reception went. The family received so many kind comments on the reception. Thank you to all at Burhill.

We had a very small but special occasion at Burhill G,C. recently and it was wonderful. The staff were great, the food great and the ambience superb.

Excellent golf club with two 18 hole courses. Both are quite long so be prepared to drive well! The club house sits stunningly at the top of the 18th hole of the new course- a great spot to grab a drink after the round to watch others finish.

Family after Christmas get together for 17. Good food and very efficient staff in lovely surroundings.

17 of us had a delightful lunch at the golf club. The service, lunch and organising were flawless. Thankyou so much for a memorable afternoon.

Quality track - you take this out of the Surrey/Berkshire belt of unreal golf clubs and this would probably be a top 5 county club anywhere else in the county. Great facilities, reasonable price given the geography and two fabulous courses.

I visited this course for the first time today. A club match. We were welcomed and made to feel at home immediately. An outstanding course and one I most definitely recommend.. 2 x courses (old course and New course). A fantastic club house and a very well stocked pro shop.. Greens are in fabulous condition.. half way hut is ready to cook you bacon if that's what you want and the scenery is amazing.. Food was steak pie, mash and vegetables and it was a delight and very nicely served by waiting staff in uniforms making it a 5 star service all round. All good and nothing negative👍

Nice course. Has half-way house with toilet facilities. Good food afterwards. Heavy traffic from West Byfleet approach during rush hour.

A good couple of courses with different characters. The old has a few tricky blind shots the new being longer and less mature but with water. The clubhouse is excellent and the practice facilities are good, worth a visit.

I am just a chopper and played on Thursday evening as my partner is a member. NEW Course was in very good condition. Tees were tidy, hardly any divots on fairways, greens absolutely amazing. Approaches and fringes ... very well defined. Visually very impressive. Shame about my golf ⛳️

I recently played both the New and Old Course at Burhill with 3 friends to celebrate a birthday. We were welcomed on arrival by a wonderful receptionist and The General Manager who ran over the timings for the day ahead as well as some very interesting facts about the estate. We started on the new course. Only 20 years of age but a good parkland layout in excellent condition. Large, fast and undulating greens keep you on your toes and the 18th is a spectacular par 3 finish in front of the clubhouse We had pre arranged lunch as part of our day package and the bar menu offers a great choice and a great setting watching other golfers master teh par 3 18th green Post lunch we enjoyed the wonderful Old Course, a much more traditional woodland golf course with smaller greens and a fantastic selection of Par 3's Overall we had a great day and were very looked after by all of the team at Burhill

There for a wake, well catered, good rooms, bar downstairs from event. But a sad occasion with lovely people.

Very friendly staff and impeccable services. The food in the clubhouse is also great. Club sandwiches, pizza and fish and chips are especially good. The course is generally well maintained. There is an old course and a new course. While the old course is more charming to me, the new course is longer and holds regional competitions occasionally.

Amazing place, so much grandeur. Very good atmosphere and staff were efficient and very friendly. I had a fantastic day at a friends wedding.

Great greens but the New course is a bit boring

Very long course fairways not in good condition no run anywhere, par 3,s long 178 uphill !! Not achievable for most ladies this was the old coarse I last played new and that was much better experience however the club house and food excellent good day 😀

Decent selection of hot and cold drinks and snacks. However it is not always open, takes both cash and cards.

Eat at the clubhouse and also at a special event in a marquee. Both very good and service was also good. Nice.

I was taken to lunch here a while back and although the room where we ate was clean and reasonably lit, the place did in some way not seem entirely welcoming. I have to admit that eating at the Burhill Golf Club was a very different experience in the past when one was taken to the members dining room to enjoy a really nice meal in very comfortable surroundings with a great view out over the grass and into the distance. This room had the feel of a converted locker room (perhaps it was) the waiter seemed less than interested (a complete personality bypass) and the meal was edible but not very exciting. This was ok for a quick pit stop but not for a memorable eating experience, but then baybe that was the plan.?

The Green is no longer the main restaurant at Burhill Golf Club. You can now either eat in the beautiful lounge or eat in the carvery on some Sundays. The carvery is wonderful with a magnificent display of starters, perfect roast and tempting desserts/

What a pity that this golf club restaurant could not maintain its vestige of great ambience and service. Food and service are not 'par for the course' apologies for the intended pun. Much better to eat at The Ivy in Cobham.

This time we sat in the lounge of the Manor House. Well appointed decor in serene surroundings overlooking 18th green. Well presented quality good with friendly staff & reasonably priced. Excellent.

The view over the golf course and park take you away on a mini- holiday! Friendly service and excellent salads with a good wine list make for a enjoyable lunch. And don't miss the Pimms!

Always good thing to find an excuse to eat here - excellent staff, lovely food (we try something different each time), good wines, and a view over the lush green grass to the River Mole.

Este lugar solía ser genial, que no nos importó el mal servicio simplemente porque solía ser muy buena relación calidad-precio. Ahora, los precios han aumentado significativamente en la medida en que ha pasado de una gran ubicación para un almuerzo y barato para un lugar caro para comer. Ahora el mejor tiempo es aquí ¿qué mejor lugar para cenar al aire libre en el hoyo 18 del campo de golf con vistas espectaculares. Hemos comido aquí durante los últimos años durante la temporada de verano y nos gustó mucho el ambiente, sin embargo el menú parece haber cambiado y posiblemente el chef.

Lo que un restaurante encantador!. Las vistas desde la habitación verde del campo de golf son verdaderamente espléndido. En el clima cálido el restaurante se extiende hasta la terraza de sol, que es un hermoso lugar para tomar el sol disfrutando de las mismas vistas. La comida era de muy buena calidad y el servicio fue excepcional. Lo único decepcionante era la falta de otros clientes, lo que significa que la habitación falta de ambiente y energía. En verdad la gente, aproveche la oportunidad de disfrutar de una comida aquí y ayudan a conseguir esa energía. No me pareció que podría ser adecuada para niños - aunque son bienvenidos, que probablemente no encontrar nada emocionante aquí.altamente recomendado
