£12 for a sausage in a small roll and a bacon roll, no wonder this place is always empty and going down the pan. Absolute rip off. If you’re going to be part of the community, either offer value for money and/or quality, don’t rip people off.

Amazing Panini at great price, generous portion and value for money. Coffee was very good and the people who served my food were very polite and friendly.

First time, I’ve been in this venue for a couple of years - has improved quite a bit. Service was very affable by the two young gents, working. Strawberry milkshake was absolutely fantastic - only minor criticism - a bit messy near the kitchen - both inside and outside, but not extremely so.

We were a big crowd and had such a fun night at Georgie’s. The food was great with generous portions, and the waiters were brilliant at dealing with such a large group. Everyone was well fed and had a good time.

My friend & I have been going to Georgie's for the past two months & we love it. The quality of the food is excellent & is cooked from scratch on the premises so you will always be able to enjoy a proper cooked meal & none of this catering stuff that just gets heated up in the microwave.

Really good customer service from Lauren. So friendly and helpful. Lovely smile, and she really cares about the customers who come in; asking how they are and noticing when they're not themselves, as she did with me. I hope she stays!

Always a place l go for a morning coffee when in the area. Friendly place to relax with good selection of food.

Walked in for coffee, the whole place smelled like a greasy spoon. Lots of messy kitchen stuff piled high at the back of the shop, wish we had just walked out again because the smell just completely put me off. Maybe they don’t have a fan? On the plus side the coffee was fine but I couldn’t wait to get out the door. Waitress had a charisma bypass.

Excellent service and food We had lunch here with my elderly parents. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The service was great with a range of choices on the menu. We all chose different meals and they were all well presented, freshly cooked and delicious. Thank you. We will definitely return.

As a semi-regular customer and someone who likes to support local businesses, my experience of Georgie’s lately has been poor. Twice in the space of 1 month my order has been given to someone else and on both occasions no apology has been forthcoming, just the expectation that I would happily wait for the re-order. Needs to do better.

I sat in the garden with my two daughters and enjoyed a delicious brunch in the sunshine. The staff were very friendly and the service was excellent. Will definitely be returning soon.

Georgie's is great from the lovely coffees and cakes to the scrumptious lunches. Friendly atmosphere and caring people. Can't wait til we can sit indoors ( won't be long now). Highly recommend this lovely place.

New owners of Georgie’s are making a real difference! I have popped in a few times since the new owners have taken over and I love the coffee, the cakes (the Eccles cake in particular), the sausage breakfast bap and the club sandwich. Tried out the weekend dinners on Friday night with 4 friends and we all enjoyed the delicious food (Mediterranean vegetable lasagne was great) and had a lovely evening in the small garden at the back. Looking forward to being in the main cafe once that restriction lifts!

This venue changed hands several months ago, after the previous owner - who was a nice enough lady - completely squandered any opportunities she had, in a village with no pub. Erratic opening and closing times, (for years), not enough made of front and rear, outside space; not enough made of quizzes, Sunday roasts only once a month, and a bland menu. Locals used to bemoan how the owner was sitting on a potential gold mine, but just had no idea, in how to market and run the place. Beautiful weather so I thought I’d give it a go...just for a quick pint, late afternoon/early evening. Service in truth was a bit slow - was ignored by a young woman working there and had to call to her to get her attention, even though I was sitting alone, with nothing on the table as she walked point-blank past. Pints are a reasonable price - £4.20 for Daisy Gold - which is brewed in Claygate, and served at Platform 3 micro-pub. Pint came with several centimetres of contents missing, which wasn’t great, but I couldn’t be bothered to complain. I noticed that they have improved the rear garden area, which is a plus, and are now utilising the grass area at the front. Good. I didn’t sample the food, but will, no doubt, at some point. I just truly hope this place can now become a success as the village desperately needs it to be.

Had a delightful bacon roll and a great coffee. So looking forward to sitting down with a friend for a speciality breakfast. New management have worked wonders here and it's now wonderfully bright and airy.

Came today for coffee. No one serving at till. Waited ten minutes until a young man came down the stairs! Went in the garden. Shame it is such a mess. Wouldn't take much to sort it out. On way back in same young man sitting on one if the chairs glued to his phone. In fact every time i go in there, the staff are always on the phone. I wish i could have a job where i could do that!

I’ve been there a few times now & have never had any problems. The Staff are friendly & the food is very nice & well presented. Plenty of space, with a lovely rear garden.

This was our first visit, will not be last. Staff are friendly and polite Food is cooked fresh so expect a wait, the food is worth waiting for. We were there for breakfast but noticed there was a good choice on menu. Very nice atmosphere , A great find,

Have enjoyed it everytime I visit. Friendly staff, great food and relaxed atmosphere.

I had high hopes when I walked in. Alas that was where my hopes stayed, at the front door. Pro’s great location, decent size, plenty of room, food and drinks delivered to your table, coffee was ok and not overpriced, free WiFi (though I didn’t use it). Unable to comment on the food as didn’t try it. Cons - front of house staff preoccupied with mobile phone in between serving, giving the impression they would rather be somewhere else. Available tables still had food scraps upon them, though had been ‘cleared’, and cruet sets and vases on tables need a clean. Strong stench of fat/bacon eminating from the kitchen (door fixed open), consuming the whole cafe. Chef/cooks hair dangling over food, not tied back, or netted. Crockery was hand washed behind ordering counter, no dishwasher it seems, my mug had stain rings inside. Dish drainers need serious clean. Many light bulbs need replacing and fittings to be cleaned. Finally, ladies toilet, dirty, untidy, unpleasant experience, cheap blue paper towels and a floor of shattered tiles. The whole place desperately needs some investment, though some TLC and an injection of passion into the business would be a step in the right direction. Are the owners blind or just not bothered? Poor standards of cleanliness and hygiene in my opinion, so disappointing.

If the sullen male member of staff who is constantly on his phone doesn’t put you off then the permeating smell of grease from the kitchen will. I thought the smell was pretty bad but when I left and could actually smell it on my clothes and hair ...yuk! Please improve or move on so a better coffee house can replace!!

They still serve great coffee and the staff are nice but the place itself is going downhill. It is sadly in need of refurbishment, water marks on the ceiling, some hidden by an old piece of cloth, the floor is uneven due to a water leak, the ladies toilet leaves a lot to be desired with a fixing on the ceiling without it's proper cover leaving bare wires, a broken floor and a picture leaning up against the wall that it used to be fixed to. The whole place needs a thorough deep clean and I'm afraid gives the impression of grubbiness. It could be a nice place to sit but it is no longer.

Great tasting sandwiches however make sure your equipped with a knife to cut your sandwiches. 4 sandwiches not one cut is the normal?

Lovely little restaurant to go to any day for just a coffee or something more. Very nice freshly made food. We go there a lot recommend the sausage sandwich tasty.

I am not a regular at this cafe', however I have never been disappointed. The range and quality of the food and drinks will not disappoint. Jacket potatoes, Paninis, sandwiches, home cooked lasagne, shepherd's pie - all are prepared and cooked on the premises. The range of hot and cold drinks, together with home made cakes and deserts will satisfy even the most discerning.

Great place to go for just a coffee or eats. Lovely menu and friendly staff. Good for meeting friends there and taking family as children friendly.

So we go to Georgies every term time morning 4/5 of us we go there cause Claire in the kitchen cooks a great breakfast. Not loaded with oil or fat. Hot plates all cooked to order fresh toast and a smiley face every day thank you for a great to start of every day from julian Royale european.

We won a free voucher in a charity raffle for this Cafe. My husband had a Mega Breakfast and I had Chicken Supreme. The food and service is first class we will definitely be back again. Fantastic!!😊😊

2 welcoming and charming waitress to serve you and ensure you spend a good time. very good food whether you take scramble eggs, omelette or sandwich. Toilets are clean, good to mention it too !!

Anyone who knows Hinchley Wood - the village, per se, will tell you it is a pleasant, unpretentious place. They will also tell you that with the exception of the Panshi, there is very little night life. This Village has been crying out for an alternative to the aforementioned for some time. This Bar, does offer that...potentially. The venue is very nice, clean, spacious, and the staff are really great. They do offer food, which is good, albeit - whilst I appreciate the kitchen is not huge, and they are constrained by this factor - they should add and diversify their menu, a little - in a controlled way. The opening hours are frustrating, as they often close at times - early - and that is very inconsistent. This venue has HUGE potential, and I suspect everyone in the village wants it to do well. I'm unsure who the owner is, but they should really push forward their business, and 'brain-storm' with locals in regards to suggestions and ideas that can aid this place. Perhaps consider - what can this venue do, to bring in customers on a Friday and Saturday night who cannot dine in alternative places? I GENUINELY wish this place the best of luck, but it needs to do more....

Thoroughly enjoyed my piping hot, freshly cooked macaroni cheese yesterday lunchtime. Weather was dismal outside, but as always there was a warm welcome in Georgie's, a relaxed atmosphere, great value food and full range of drinks. Well worth booking for their Sunday lunches, which are growing in popularity and for the regular quiz nights, which are a really fun evening out.

Support local independent coffee shops! This is a warm and friendly coffee shop. You can sit and relax....watch the world go by........
