The best restaurants serving British food in South East

nice area, big space, plenty of seating, welcoming. broken toilet facilities, could do with a make over. the chicken pie was horrible. the chops were well cooked but tasted a little tangy. the burger was ok, average basic meat. the fish was nice with good batter. the sausage was very pale, it wasnt good quality. sadly we wouldnt return

It has been my local for quite a few years now, and the ownership has changed 2 or 3 times, and I can say that this time, the brewery has gotten it right with the new person's in charge

We had a lovely meal here. Sunday lunch, food and service all excellent. Landlord fitted us in and even moved his family members to another table to accommodate us We had been to one other local. pub.beforehand but they couldn’t squeeze us in there. Very glad we came here instead on recommendation from a local couple We had travelled down from London to take our 3 children to observatory centre nearby The meal and pub was the real highlight of our day. Kids were made to feel welcome and everyone enjoyed the food immensely. We would love to return!

The milkshake wasn’t blended enough so it was literally just like drinking vanilla milkshake with huge chunks of chocolate bar at the bottom. Very disappointing.

We chose to stop here specifically as there was a rapid charger for our EV. The grounds are relaxing and quiet. The conservatory restaurant had a good atmosphere and the service friendly and courteous. We had the Gnocchi and Ploughmans for lunch. Both were very tasty and well presented. Puddings were light and refreshing. Prices are not cheap but good food is worth paying for. Having tried out the restaurant and general ambience we are very likely to arrange a weekend break here soon.

Just walked across from the airport for a pre flight dinner. Easy twenty minute walk. Dinner was great, service super. Recommended

I cant eat very much chips but I bought a small chips from this shop and finished it all very nice chips just want tio say between loft fish and chips and you I cant compare who is better because I love loft is well and I've had many chips from them it's always the same so keep it up hope you can do the same all the time excellent love it

Brought a vehicle was not warranted, don’t buy like this as there’s a short sharp lesson here ! I still haven’t received log book DVLA says there’s a discrepancy! I can resolve it by speeding another £25 👍

A cosy and traditional village pub. The open mic music night on a Wednesday is always a great social vibe with lots of musicians in a very inclusive relaxed environment. Top pub.

I hate it because it’s a terrible pub and not just that but it’s near Crestwood and I hate Crestwood

Tried to go two times now and they haven't been serving food as the woman apparently didn't turn up. It's a big disappointment and has made me unsure about trying to go here again
