I came into Costa today for a breakfast wrap, Tropical Mango Bubble and a cake, so I could do some course work. Half way through I noticed a small fly had gone in my drink. I went to get a napkin from the counter, I explained what happened to the gentleman behind the counter, after he asked what was wrong and straight away he offered to make me another free of charge. I didn't want a free one and offered to pay. The staff at the Penarth branch are lovely and helpful.

When in for a coffee, very quiet, not a happening place. Just your run of a mill Costa.

Medium latte with oat milk and strawberry frappe. Good quick service.

Who makes a Peach 'Iced' Tea and not add the ice!! When asking for ice to be added, I was frowned at, almost as to say 'you are so demanding', the effort, its happened on several occassions by the same employee....its a shame as there are some other friendly assistants but this particular server is definitely not customer service focused.

Had flat white coffee....not very strong and not that hot....also no fancy design in the milk top

Ideal location in Penarth town for refreshments.

Poor customer service, especially from a large female customer assistant with blonde hair. Very abrupt to me and yelled to said back further. (The chap sitting reading his newspaper, put his paper down and gave a look at the Assistant) Given that I was already 2 metres from customer being served. It not my fault when said customer broach toward me to get crisp she forgot, which were next to me. I was a regular customer up to then. When I was served she awkwardly asked how I was and what I like. When I mentioned I was shielding and lost my job she went a bit quiet. I refuse to ever go back again. This happened this time last year

Had a cappuccino in here today..Nice clean table, plenty of space between tables and hand sanitizer as you entered and left shop

Always visit costa during the week to stretch my legs from working at home, stuff are always delightful and offer great conversation, it is good to see the staff being hands on with customers and teaching them about the stores covid rules. Never had something off the menu I didn't like and the new latte plus range is a nice change. Can never seem to leave without a cake in hand, excellent

This is a place I use most days of the week. The coffee is superb, the staff are truly lovely and have an excellent relationship with the customers. It is spotless (especially post lockdown). The food is well priced and enjoyable. It is a very pleasant place to sit, read, use a laptop or mingle with friends. Cant recommend highly enough!

Have been visiting this coffee house a lot lately and I find it a good place to relax with a coffee and a good book. They do a filter coffee for a £1 , which I find nice and strong , or you can have numerous other coffee or drinks. And with good and helpful staff , it's definitely a place to chill

I was hoping to get one photo of my mum with her eyes open and I thought coffee might help......it did not. It is good coffee though! The staff are friendly and efficient and chatty in a genuine way. My mum visits this particular branch in Penarth most days I suspect and she really rates it.

Friendly little Costa on the main high street in Penarth, part of a multi national chain but the Cortado is very nice.

While in the area we popped in for coffee being a Saturday it was quite busy but found a table..Always good quality & not disapointed this time of visiting. Staff working hard to meet the demands of customers.

Modern stylish interior. Conveniently situated in heart of town centre. Some of the staff are quite friendly. They have got a habit of closing half the shop off a couple of hours before closing time though!!

My favourite Costa. Staff are always happy to serve and have never got an order wrong! The place just got a nice makeover recently too!

The food is nice. But the service was very confusing and we didn’t really understand what we were required to do! However, lovely shortbread. Paper straws need improvement.

Nice lunch - plus many savouries half price at lunch time (bargain!), spacious seating and clean environment. we were served quickly and the first class servicefrom a young bubbly waitress and a equally young bubbly waitor really made this visit a success. sadly the actual food was lack lustre - I felt my egg muffin was 'off' in some ways - maybe under cooked, not sure but it didn't sit well with me sadly. the tea selection was a little bit poor too but usual for costa's I'm sure. I like the book corner too - nice idea

The staff were working very hard, the café was completely packed out, and the seasonal coffee was a very welcome drink on a very cold Saturday.

I'm in this Costa almoat every week. It is undoubtedly the best Costa of them all. 😊 Jo the Manager and her Team make this place the success it is.

This coffee shop is very popular and is a very busy place, but you are always able to get a seat. Ideal for a quick rest stop in between the usual array of shops in the area. The service is quite quick and the staff are very pleasant. The prices are about average for this type of establishment

Rude staff, no knowledge of coffee or any care for what they do, will not visiting again, shame on you costa

I usually enjoy a visit to Costa. Today was a disappointment. I had a hot chocolate, and ordered a large festive special - orange and cream - for my daughter. Both were only lukewarm, despite me asking for extra hot. The festive special did not taste of orange. There was a small spoonful of orange syrup in the bottom of the glass. There was hardly any cream on the top, which had not been swirled and did not resemble the picture on the advertisement. I should really have photographed it as it was so poor. The barista clearly needed a bit of training. An expensive disappointment on this occasion. 🙁 My other two daughters ordered their own festive drinks and were similarly disappointed.

Massive coffee. Was more like a pint than a cup. Taste was pretty average.

Nice coffee but sometimes extremely busy and generally you have to clear your own tables when its like that (i know its not the staff's fault) but Costa - Hire more staff during peak times?

Too narrow for prams and wheelchairs. Was difficult just trying to get to the loo at the back. Nice enough inside. Best blueberry muffin i have had in a very long time.
