Great breakfast as always at an affordable price, lovely staff too! Situated in a lovely area close to Barry island, highly recommend!

Visited this Brewers Fayre whilst in Barry. Pleasant staff, easy to order, food delivered hot and plentiful and in good time. Lots of space between tables, good atmosphere, would recommend

Quite empty on arrival so although we waited as thd sign said, a lovely gentleman made a joke and we could sit anywhere. The table was sticky but the food arrived quickly and was very tasty. The kids menu was particularly good value. The only disappointment was a piece of plastic resembling a tooth possibly from a toy was in the gammon adult meal. As no one came to clear our plates or ask if we wanted desserts or ask about our meals we saw no one to tell them about this! We also had to chase the kids meal dessert. So we would recommend the food but not the service or kitchen staff prepping the meals.

Me and my family went for the first time to have the all you can eat, kids eat for free breakfast yesterday, (£10.99 an adult) i tell you what me and the family will definitely be back, As there's a great selection of food there's loads of cereal, pastries, fruit, tea, coffee, jucies and hot food and who ever was the chef everything was well cooked even the eggs, it set me and the family up for the whole day so thank you

We had 30 people in our group and Joshua and the team were brilliant. Organised our menus, food was great and so was the service. We were last out of the restraint and staff was relaxed about us staying to enjoy ourselves to the end. Overall great experience and service. Definitely recommend visiting.

Absolutely disgusting sevice off the miserable manager..said thank you 3 times to he ignored because she was to busy chatting to staff..asked for a small child's meal as I can't eat a full meal..told I can't and was forced to order adults carvery!!! (I'm the paying customer) went with it then when I asked for a little tub of some sort to take meat home for my dog..I was abruptly to we don't do takeaways.. I paid for thosbig meal so I'm in my rights to take what I've left...only person I can say was lovely was the chef serving ..as for manager I will never return again and will also advise friends to stay well away...

As a new local to Barry, I went here for the first time today and it was nice weather (but a little windy down the water front) so decided to sit outside. There was a slight instance with the parasol so I went inside to let a staff member know. He apologised and said he would tell the manager. Moments later we were approached by the lovely manager Josh, to double check everything was okay which was wholly appreciated, even though everything was fine. But due to the slight inconvenience he offer a gesture of goodwill which I accepted. I have worked within the hospitality industry myself, and found his manner and approach really pro-active, really friendly and super caring given I have my baby with me and cannot thank him enough! He is a fantastic asset to the team and has certainly secured our future custom!! All other staff members we encountered were also very friendly, so would highly recommend a visit here. I will be back to try the food in the near future for sure given the wonderful customer service which can be hard to find these days!! A well oiled machine indeed! Lovely lunch as always and the staff are always very friendly and helpful,particular mention of Tracey who is always so welcoming to our family. We have been coming here for most weeks for the last 10 years and always a great lunch and speedy service. Thank you!

We booked a table for 5pm and we asked for a window table and they had one spare so we were kindly sat there. They seemed short staffed but they were happy and friendly. Disappointed that they had sold out of Sunday roast by 5pm, but we chose different main courses and they arrived quite quickly and were delicious. We had green thai vegetable curry & gammon, egg & chips. We had a knickerbocker sundae for dessert. We also took advantage of the 2 for £10 cocktails 🍹

I went with my family for a easter sunday carvery our table was booked for 16.30 we arrived a little late but were welcomed by the bubbly carl and shown to a table and told the carvery was on and everything on the main menu was available well we all had carvery the man carving dont know his name sorry was very professional the meat and selection of vegetables was lovely Carl came over to check everything was okay after hour dinner he came over with coloring for the kids and said there was a coloring competition and they could win a prize that made the kids very happy so after a dessert when we will leaving we gave our coloring in and we're kids were given a bar of chocolate nice surprise we will definitely be returning to have a Sunday carvery again

Well, 100% improvement from my last review, the food was up to the standard of fine dinning. The staff were very friendly and customer service was top notch, atmosphere was very relaxing. Would definitely recommend Brewers fayre.

We have been using this brewers since it opened, have had family celebrations there, the food is great, the staff are friendly. I would give it 5 stars all day long....BUT...This morning my usual pleasant breakfast with my family was disrupted by none other than Peppa pig and various other cartoons playing into our ears at 100 decibels in some sort of surround sound, whilst managing to be at a frequency that cuts through background music and normal conversation, these seem to be emanating from various devices belonging to the offspring of the various self-centred, selfish and inconsiderate cretins that vaguely resemble parents. Now I know that none of this is brewers fayre's fault but perhaps they would consider either a quiet area or an area reserved for the "parents" using the digital babysitter so they can drive eachother mad or have competitions on who can be the loudest/most inconsiderate. They could even insist on the use of an amazing ~ 100 year old invention headphones!

The service was excellent, straight to a table. Excellent staff, would definitely recommend and will be visiting again.

I visited Brewers fayre, Barry at lunchtime and me and my family had lovely and fast customer service. Food was amazing, would definitely recommend!

The worst place I have ever been to! It seemed a good idea as we were all at the Premier Inn. Supper was appalling, uncooked jacket potato, no sauce left to go with the fish, service surly, our friends main course came over 20minutes after ours even though we ordered together and sitting on the same table. Staff sitting with take away pizzas with babies in adult only area, the place seems to be there for staff not customers. 12 months since we last visited, blinds still broken, staff clearing away and opening doors so it was very cold well before closing time to get rid of any customers. Breakfast even worse, no orange juice, no fruit, only 1 tea and coffee machine, children running wild, tables and floor filthy. This group should be ashamed of this venue!

Tax evasion? Scam? I don't know. But being called from this number, with proof and recorded call saying you're free THREE is very annoying!!! Reported to HMRC with proof and recording.

Went for breakfast to end a night away with my partner, greeted at the front desk by Charlotte, who was very polite, happy and helpful. Service was brilliant, wasn't super busy but felt very well attended to, order and food delivery very prompt, especially as Charlotte was on her own. Food was lovely, continental buffet fully stocked and well organised. Would highly recommend and definitely will return. Thanks.

My wife and I visited your restaurant last week for a meal . We were greeted by a very nice man called Josh. He made us very welcome as did all the staff . The food was great , but as for as we were concerned Josh went above and beyond, he was so helpful and a credit to your company .

As we were staying at the Barry Premier Inn we had the meal deal for Breakfast and a two course evening meal. The staff were welcoming and helpful; Carl is an absolute asset and made sure everything runs smoothly. The meals were hot and tasty and we couldn't fault the service.

Great local place for us to go and the food was pretty good my only gripe with this particular restaurant is the waiting time to get your deserts brought to the table which always happens when I order deserts as we have to chase the waiters up to get them

It would make sense for a party of five would get there meals all at the same time, Not one at a time plus the ribs were over cook.

We usually visit here on a Tuesday every other week and have to say its getting better and better. The staff are all really pleasent and lovely. The food is very nice and atmosphere always friendly. The customer service is fantastic and we always enjoy our food and time here.

Ordered Chicken goujons as a starter and the mixed grill as a main. The goujons were greasy. When the waitress brought my main meal, as she virtually threw the plate down half the peas rolled off the end of the plate, and before I could mention it she had disappeared, she seemed oblivious to what she'd done. It was certainly the smallest steak I've ever been served, literally not as big as the half tomato. I appreciate that these are not high end restaurants, but I do expect better and I've stayed in my fair share of Premier Inns that have a Brewers Fayre next door Disappointing

This is not my favourite chain but I liked this one. Not much from the outside but it's the inside that matters and that was very pleasant. My food was very well cooked and therefore it was good value.

With the first experience to be substandard, this second visit proved that we will not be returning. The service was terrible. We came in for the Sunday roast dinner, the wife was partial to it, arriving at 5pm. Ordering at 5:20pm the counter was wiped clear and closed. The excuse was when the meat is gone, they close it out. Being with a large party, we all witnessed that there was plenty of meat left to be served. The female manager had a real bad attitude over it when asked. They forgot our 2 out of 3 deserts for over an hour. Fries with the burgers were cold, burgers weren't that hot either. For £17/head, you would think you can at the very least get served on time and have warm food. Receipt No. 7455 - 9Feb'20. Weatherspoons will be our next stop - great food, great service, and NO attitude.

Staying next door at the Premier Inn for business in midweek January 2020. I ate here twice as I’d taken the Premier Inn ‘meal deal’ option that included two-course evening meal and drink, and the full breakfast.Staff were very friendly from the outset, and although busy at both times the restaurant was clean. The food was good quality and fresh; the breakfast is a self-serve option and I couldn’t fault the offer, and the two-course evening meal had an impressive range of standard pub grub to choose from.I would recommend, and would certainly eat there if in the areas again.

Always been happy with brewers fayre and visit there usually once a week with family. Went there today but told at least 30 minute wait on a table, but huge section of tables at top of restaurant not in use which is usually the case but surely rather than turn customers away you should open up this section?? On Friday 3 Jan my wife and two friends went out for our monthly evening meal. We try different restaurants or pubs. The brewers fayre Barry drinks a glass of water free were told if you want ice they have to charge could be a joke? Food don't recommend fish & chips could not find the fish " this is on menu as(fish & chips), not as named fish

Is what it is but the staff on the night we went were fantastic, friendly and made it a pleasant evening! It’s not busy and noisy but the food is good and if your hungry and after reasonably priced food, I’d recommend it!

Family meal for 4, cost £47, not bad. I ordered 12oz med rare steak, was cooked well and not too fatty for a rib eye. Family had Xmas chicken, ceasar salad and fish and chips, all enjoyed. Order from bar which was ok but only had one barman for a period so slight queue. Good price on drinks and cheerful bar man. Waiters were good and didn't have to wait long. No rush to finish, tables not on top of each other, was a pleasant night. We had to go for 6.30pm but some great deals if you can eat before 6pm, 2 mains for £8.99. Will definitely be going back for good priced reasonable food.

We used to love to have the odd drink and meal at the prem since it first opened and were regulars but after the incident last night we have decided not to return due to various reasons - which is a shame as generally the staff are very good and friendly, We felt quite annoyed when we left but we have decided not to return , We do believe everyone should go at correct time and be treated equally and we did not feel that was not the case last night and it seemed unusually dysfunctional and yet we do appreciate that there are rules and regulations on DUT
