Coffee is great Staff are always great But today the toilets are disgustingly dirty. Not always like this but please get it right for all your customers. Disgraceful.

Called in with a friend for a late lunch today. Plenty of car parking spaces always a bonus! Great selection on the menu, we went for the tuna melt ciabattas with salad and a bowl of handcut chips. Service was swift, very friendly staff. Food was fantastic, generous portions and presented well. Will be back 😊

Avoid the ham egg & chips. Totally disappointing, you have to try particularly hard to take such a simple dish & ruin it completely. Skinny french fries (really)! Small yolk compeltely overcooked egg! a huge slice of pinapple straight out of the Brakes Brothers jumbo tin! Overcooked garden peas! And finally the saltiest gammon steak I have had the displeasure to eat (left most). Someone should taste test the menu. Shame, used to be ok here, suggest the Plough in Eaton. CW12 2NH

Amie has been incredible, i told her about my cinnamon allergy and she went above and beyond to make sure none was anywhere near me. from changing my friends glass to going to the outside bar from inside to make them aware aswell. This girl is an absoloute asset to your team, and we are so very grateful for her hospitality!

We called in for lunch and I chose the chicken tikka wrap and my friend chose an egg mayonnaise sandwich on brown bread. The chicken tikka wrap was tasteless and dry and the egg mayonnaise sandwich hardly had any filling and the bread was dry. For around £20 I would have expected something half decent. The staff were very pleasant and the cafe itself is very nice but shame about the food ,

Wow what a brilliant morning we have had with breakfast with the Easter bunny. The Easter bunny was absolutely Fabulous (the best I have seen as they normally they look abit scary but this one wasn’t), the breakfast was so yummy (and was all lovey quality food), the activities was brill, their was so much for the kids to do (and the Easter bunny joined in with everything) colouring pictures and egg decorating, Easter egg hunt, dancing, party games it was fab I think the adults enjoyed it as much as the children, a massive shout out to Sarah and her amazing team, all so welcoming and couldn’t do enough for us 🐣 🎉💕 Thank you for making our Easter so special 🐣💕x x

Nice pub with outside seating, member of staff who served us was very nice and helpful. My only criticism was the food, unfortunately we ordered the crab pot dip and bread, the bread was as hard as rocks and couldn’t be eaten and you could not taste any crab, at £11 for this starter I expected better. We mentioned it to the manager who basically just said he would “mention it to the chef”, the main course was ok but our friends both had the chicken burger and it was mainly hard , burnt crust which had to be cut off and unedible, the chips I would have expected a choice of chunky chips or fries instead we got a few skinny fries on the plate. At the end of the day it is a pub meal which turned out to be a very basic pub meal.

An authentic exposed beam pub, loaded with charm and offering a warm and friendly welcome. A nice selection of drinks including cask ale. Our food was delicious and nicely presented, served on hot plates, leaving just enough room for a tasty mini pud and coffee. A brilliant place to visit with friends. The Rising Sun has cosy little nooks, together with a genuine stone floor which creates a unique and tranquil atmosphere where you can relax and enjoy a bottle of wine with a meal. There’s a lovely beer garden which is sheltered from the road and a large car park. Of particular note is Chloe, team leader, who was attentive and make us feel genuinely appreciated.
