We always have our Chinese from here and it's always lovely, tonight they have outdone themselves! The salt and pepper chips were the crispiest we've ever had and my sweet and sour chicken always arrives with just pineapple as I request. And the lady who delivers knows we have children so she knocks quietly. Always amazing customer service on the phone too. Highly recommend.

Lovely meal most enjoyable will definitely be using again next time we visit Nantwich.

After seeing where the ingredients and food was kept I was shocked it’s still open, after visiting i recommend family doesn’t use due to lack of facilities and hygiene.

We have been using Oriental Magic for all of our family Chinese Takeaways for a few years. We have a very large family with some orders reaching as many as 20+ different dishes. Last Saturday, they took our order as usual and as ever, when I arrived to collect it was just being boxed up. When arriving at home and starting the meal, we were surprised to find that some pancakes were missing from the Crispy Duck on the order. We were fortunate that we had some in our freezer, which we quickly thawed and used. Two points stand out about this;- 1. In the 2 - 3 years which we've been ordering from them, this is the first mistake which they've made on some very large orders. 2. No sooner had we started our meal, I received a call from them telling me that the chef had noticed they had not boxed the pancakes up and they offered to deliver them immediately. Fortunately, this wasn't necessary. Mistakes happen, but I wonder how many takeaways would have this level of honesty and service? Just as a P.S. we always receive free fortune cookies and prawn crackers and an occasional extra starter to try. They remain our favourite takeaway. Thank You.

Our first time visiting. We had a starter which was supposed to be ribs, prawns and chicken bites…it was awful. Definitely cooked from frozen and the ribs (2 tiny slithers) were shrivelled and inedible. For £9!! The special fried rice was ok and orient beef was ok, nothing special. I wouldn’t recommend this place and won’t be back

Just had a takeaway from Oriental Magic, reasonably priced, delivery was to the minute and the food was absolutely delicious. Would highly recommend this takeaway service.

Been going for years. Clearly says free delivery over £10. Came to £10.40, so clearly this is over £10. Still got charged £2 delivery.

Would not recommend this take away. I ordered shredded crispy beef, wouldn’t feed it to my dog, the peppers looked unfresh, what beef (?) it was dry, just awful, went in the bin. Never again.

I had to wait 25 minutes when I was told the meal would be ready for collection in 10. Lost most of my sauce when the meal was tipped slightly on the way home.

The food is not fresh even the rice. I won't be going there again.

We got our tea from here tonight and tbh I don't know where to start. It was absolutely vile. Extra spicy curry NOT a chance 3hrs later and still got a horrible taste in my mouth. It's such a shame as we have used this Chinese for many years now and I'm sorry to say they will NOT get our custom again 🤢🤢 Very poor..!!

One of the best Chinese takeaways around. Food always consistently good. Accidentally ordered chicken and cheese spring rolls once, yum! Highly recommend.

Ordered from here, the food was shocking. I'm not even convinced the chicken was chicken. It was stringy, stretchy and slimy. The guy who I'm assuming is the owner/manager was not apologetic at all, offered one free chicken dish next time we order from a £30 order. Safe to say we won't be ordering from here again. Trading standards informed.

Tried many Chinese/Cantonese Takeaways in our local town, and this is simply our favorite. Be it service, choice or cost. Like many of these Takeaways, they only do 'Cash Only', so make sure you have the reddies available, especially if ordering for delivery (which 99% of the time, is well within the standard 45 mins). I could only suggest they get a card/contactless machine to improve the servie that bit more, given they're freely avaibl via mobile phones these days (instead of the big bulky abd expensive Bank issued machines).

Good food, resonable price with student discount, generally positive experience.

The food was shocking was better when the Chinese man called Colin was cooking will not be going back there

hi yes ide recommend, oriental magic because they've got an extensive range of meal choice, that's oriental / English, that's why I've given it a 5 ☆ rating .

Food wasn't great, chips greasy, s&s sauce didn't pour, it glouped! Szechaun was that bloody spicy, full of chilli's never had it that hot elsewhere. Wouldn't go again. There was a reason it only had a 10min wait compared to other take outs being an hour!

Usually use this Chinese with no problem, regular customers however tonight terrible service and terrible food, we understand new years eve is a busy time and put our order in at 6:30pm to be told it would be here at 8pm, no problem we said, however 9pm we rang to see where the food was to be told it was with the driver, then at 9:30pm still no food, after ringing again we were left on hold then just hung up on, after not being able to get through to cancel eventually food turned up, chips were cold and sweet and sour sauce was literally like water it was clearly watered down, we would of happily sorted other food if we had known this was what we were getting, will not be using these again DISGRACEFUL!!

We order our meal at 1830 on New Year’s Eve we expected it to be at least a couple of hours but not three and a half hours ,even when we rang at the hour and a half mark and they said it was out with the driver. When the food came 3and a half hours late the sauce was watered down and I mean it was just water with a bit of colour no flavour and the food was cold the driver was amazing and felt sorry for him as he was getting this all night , absolutely shocking customer service and the food was disgusting, would avoid like the plague also they put the phone down on me on the second call can’t believe it at all honestly do not use plenty of other decent takeaways on Nantwich

DO NOT ORDERED FROM HERE! Absolutely appalling service! We were told our order would be delivered to us within 30-40 minutes after an hour of waiting we rang to be told our order was on the road with the driver. After 30 minutes of waiting (we are 10 mins away from the Chinese) we rang again to say we still hadn’t received our order. We were told it was with the driver on the road and would be with us shortly. Now an hour after our first call and still having not received our order we rang to be told our order was on its way. After a further 10 minutes of waiting we rang to Cancel order and asked for our money back. We were then asked if we still wanted the food as there had been a problem with our order, to which I replied ‘so our order was never out with the driver you lied’ - shocking service - there are so many Chinese’s in Nantwich don’t waste your time or money with this one!!!!!

First 4/5 deliveries were great. Then over 2 hours plus wrong orders 4 weeks running - then tonight when they had to give a free meal to replace last weeks wrong meal they added so much salt it was inedible- I add salt to everything but this was horrific! They also charge for delivery?!! Avoid as they literally can’t cook Chinese!

Been a customer for years but for the last three visits they have lost the plot. They are invariably 30 mins late with the order - and last night after 45 mins there was no evidence of the order and they agreed I should give up waiting. Sad but they’ve lost a customer and I won’t return. Very poor.

Best Chinese going! Clean as a day, portion sizes out of this world! Delivery service to the canal was spot on! Really helpful. Which I was closer as would use this all the time! Cannot recommend enough!

Rang up at 6PM on a saturday night for a collection order, was ready for collection in 20mins!! Food was hot and very very good! Staff were freindly and efficient! :) would well recommend for anyone in nantwich!

This was our first time eating from this takeaway and our last too. We looked at their website and ordered food for four of us. We collected the food. When I collected the meals the prices were different from those on the website, considerably, nearly £15 more for the four of us. The food was not great either, the duck for the pancakes was crusty instead of crispy. There was nothing special about the special fried rice. The temperature of the food was not good either. There are other Chinese takeaways in Nantwich, try them instead.

Oooof! Tonight was possibly the nicest Chinese I have eaten in my life! I over-ordered, went back for seconds and thirds and polished off the lot. Can’t recommend enough!

We ordered a delivery from here for the first time this weekend. On arrival we realised that we were missing our prawn crackers - luckily (or so we thought) the delivery driver was still outside so we raised this with him however he was rude and angry and sped off down the pavement with the passenger door still open! After complaining to the restaurant they did send out some more within minutes however I have to say that the food was very poor quality and not worth the money. Needless to say we will not be ordering from here again.

They deliver and they're cheaper than other Chinese takeaways in Nantwich. Quality of meat is typical chinese takeaway and no free prawn crackers so that's why I knocked a star off

Love the salt and pepper chicken strips, char su pork with BBQ sauce on top. Yum. The large spring rolls is like bei g in hell but it's too delicious to go back to heaven. and the friendly staff makes you feel welcoming. 1 minuts from public transport and civic hall. Right by the heart of nantwich. With good delivery service. Order great food eating with the good company.

Love this restaurant! Lovely people, and the Singapore vermicelli noodles are outstanding!! Better than any I've tasted outside Singapore!!! My daughter also rates the lemon chicken! Quick service, always piping hot and utterly delicious! Would highly recommend!!

Tried majority of the Chinese takeaways around this area and Oriental Magic is the nicest. The staff are lovely and always friendly, nothing is too much trouble. The food always tastes delicious and the portion sizes are great! Sometimes you have a wait a while for your order but at least you know it’s freshly made to order! I will always go to Oriental Magic now!

Really enjoyed our takeaway meal. The only thing wrong was having to wait a while for it but it was well worth the wait.

Very disappointed had a salt and pepper box, couldn’t even taste the flavour and the chips were supposed to be salt and pepper but wernt won’t be returning.

Won't be ordering from these again I placed a order last week which turned up late and half the order missing not to mention the order was up £50. Then had to wait a further 30 minutes for the rest of my order and they said they would knock money off on the next order. So that came around placed an order and told them about last time we ordered and that they would sort us out. The woman became rude and abusive over the phone claiming they never said they would knock money off! Demanding to know what we ordered and wouldn't listen when we said we only order to one address she wouldn't listen to a word I was saying. So overall despicable customer service wouldn't waste my time with the abusive place again.

I wouldn’t order a portion of chips from these not happy f**ked the order up only half of the order came and said they would sort out a deal the next time We ordered . Next week came and refused And gave me abuse I wouldn’t order food for my dogs total disgrace

I had a takeaway from here and it was cooked lovely. We had the chicken chow mein, vegetable chow mein, prawn toast and vegetable spring rolls which were all cooked wonderfully and tasted beautiful. Cannot fault the food at all!. Everything was reasonably priced and the delivery time was very quick. When we feel like another takeaway we will definitely use it again!.

Tried this one as nearer and thought we would try it for a change wish we hadn't service rude rushed and unfriendly food laden ( and I mean laden ) with garlic no other flavour and cold the rice was stodgy and in clumps and the ribs sauce was hardly evident ... yuk yuk will not go again spoilt our evening. Word of advice try greeting poeple and saying please thank you enjoy etc and go easy with the garlic !!!

Called in on the way through Nantwich and picked up several meals from Oriental Magic, the food was Oriental and definitely Magic! Best Chinese I've had for a long time, there was plenty of meat in the dishes and very flavoursome without the use of MSG, 10/10

Nos pareció que nos gustaría probar esta chino como nuestro habitual uno estaba cerrado. Nuestro pedido de colección y me dijeron que 25 minutos. Recoge la orden como habíamos pedido, pero cuando llegamos a casa todo estaba frío de piedra! La salsa curry hasta había desarrollado una piel! (Vivimos a menos de 2 minutos en coche) Nos llamaron para explicar y nos dijeron que el gerente estaba fuera y cuando vuelve él dirá él ... solucionó nada. Así que nos pidió entonces que un orden fresco y nos gustaría venir a recoger otra vez a la que estaban todavía muy reacio! No recibimos una disculpa o cualquier forma de educación y cuando llegamos a casa la comida era cebada cálido y la sal y la pimienta pollo había sido re-fritos!! Así que era básicamente como masticar pasta! Pésimo tratamiento de clientes y más caro! EVITAR

Ordered sweet n sour chicken with boiled rice and specifically asked them not to batter the chicken. When I got home, I found 8 mini doughnut sized chicken balls and sweet n sour sauce that had no vegetables or pineapple in it, just a red coloured gloopy sauce. When I cut up the chicken balls, there was a tiny piece of chicken inside. I was really disappointed with the 8 tiny pieces of chicken, a gloopy sauce and boiled rice. Suffice to say it all went in the bin. Definitely won't be going again.

Had takeout from here and got to say it's the best Chinese takeaway in Nantwich all the portions are massive and very very tasty.well done people will defo b back

We didn't use his Chinese for a while, but ever since returning, we haven't been dissapointed. It is by far the best Chinese in Nantwich! The portions of dishes are massive and easily feed two people. My favourite is crispy chicken in sweet chilli sauce, or a nice chow mein! Always look forward to a Chinese takeaway!

We visit Oriental Magic most week's and this is our favourite chinese takeaway in the Nantwich area. Favourite dishes are the Hot and Sour soup and also the spring rolls.The food is always ready in super quick time, and service is always friendly.You can't go wrong here for a great chinese meal at great prices. We have tried other takeaways in the area over the years but always return here as regular customers.

Have been to this takeaway for 5 or 6 months now and have not been disappointed. Always plenty for us and enough for the following day!!I order mine ask for 1/2 hour wait whilst a try a pint in pub opposite always ready for me.Will be back again soon.

Do a mean curry sauce lovely special chow mein as well

This is an average take away nothing to rave about and nothing to complain about either. Very cold shop front when you are waiting for your food though.
