Were do I start on this one Warm welcome,Pleasant Staff Fantastic food we will definitely go back highly recommend this pub. Ps double the staffs pay there a credit to The Star Inn.

First time and will be back. Sat outside in the sunshine, beautiful setting and gorgeous food.

Splendid! Absolutely exquisite food, staff are amazing and ambiance was welcoming. This was a gift for our 50th wedding anniversary which we will cherish!

Another fab stay at the brown horse. Three course meal was absolutely amazing like always. Breakfast, again amazing standard and included in with our stay. Will return again and again and again.

Had Sunday lunch with some friends. Good service staff were friendly. Food was worth every penny. Had roast beef and a desert- sticky toffee pudding. Amazing. Will definitely be back. Best advice is to book.

We visited the beehive to celebrate a double birthday…on arrival the staff were friendly and sat us to our table that was ready and waiting for us. We ordered multiple different dishes and had not one complaint over any of the food. All dishes came together at the same time so nobody was left waiting for their food and all meals were hot and thoroughly enjoyed by everyone. The menu had great variety also for the vegetarians.l and wasn’t overpriced. Overall it was a lovely family meal out and would definitely recommend and will definatley visit again.

It's right in front of the accommodation, so I stopped by for a beer. It's a very real local pub. There's no food (small snacks?). You just order beer in front of the bar and get it. (Prepaid) And there's a really cute hot dog dachshund.

Good choice of tasty bagels. Bacon roll available until 11:30am. Good coffee.

Great family run pub. Great food. Always made welcome. Best pub for miles.

Visited here yesterday with my husband for a lovely Sunday roast. We had the Sunday sharer which was absolutely delicious we were served by the wonderful Josh c who was very helpful and polite. Will definitely be returning 10/10😊

Lovely staff and food was amazing, I’d been told a lot that people liked this place. We went for Mother’s Day, absolutely brilliant food and lovely staff.

Absolutely fabulous as always. We live in Keswick but this is one place we love. Never had a bad meal and service is excellent. We got the bus instead of driving and we were an hour late and we still had a table.

Popped in with my husband and friend and wow - the food was just divine and the service was perfect. I’d highly recommend the chicken steaks with chips (with a side of cheesy garlic bread which blows your socks off). An absolute hidden gem and ridiculously cheap- we will deffo be back!
