Great pub, lovely atmosphere. Go at least twice a year to meet family. Karaoke man is brilliant.

Popped in for a quick drink with friends, old world proper pub

Side street pub in Liverpool City centre, first time that I have frequented the establishment. Fine no problems attentive and pleasant bar staff.

Just up a side street from North John Street and Beatle’s throw from Matthew Street this is the only remaining authentic Scouse pub left in town. The Guinness is the cheapest and the best too. The staff and the customers are true “salt of the Earth” Scousers and this is one of the few places left where you can taste the true Liverpool culture. You had better go quick though because it may go soon.. And as well as the usual stuff there is “warm Guiness”

Before starting a ten days holiday in Benidorm my twin brother and I decided to take a couple of days off work to visit some of the great pubs our city is justifiably famous for, one of the first we visited was The Crocodile Pub. A wonderful pub housed in the beautiful and historic Pekin House, interior is superb, dark and inviting, a solid wood serving bar dominates the main thing, pubby decor and furnishings, big screens to enjoy the sport and plenty of seating options spread throughout this pub both inside and outside in their courtyard, its just a really good pub to unwind in. We were here on a dull and rainy July afternoon, our summers are magnificent aren't they, we got beers from Carling Brewery, these were served in excellent condition being iced cold and sparkling, we grabbed a table in the courtyard were we chilled out and planned out the day ahead while sipping our beers. My beer was really good, it's a beer to my liking, a golden, light and hoppy lager style beer bursting with taste and very easy to drink especially when served freezing cold as in The Crocodile Pub, its hardly surprising that this pub is so popular with beers served in this good a condition . We really enjoyed our beers in here before we moved on and although our visit was only fleeting as on every other visit to The Crocodile Pub we had a great time. The Crocodile Pub is easy to locate along Harrington Street. Opening hours are; Monday to Sunday, open from 11am. In my opinion, a pub well worth checking out if you're in the area.

The Crocodile is a traditional local pub on Harrington street that offer's a really good drinks range and was well worth visiting on our day out in the city centre.This fantastic back-street boozer is located on a superb street were there are many pubs/bars and restaurants and is a joy to visit. This pub has a traditional pub style interior with many interesting fixture's and features that relates to the Beatles.There's plenty of good seating options throughout the pub's interior and a brilliant courtyard and when we went here we sat outside and had a few beers. We went here early in the afternoon and to be honest it wasn't that busy but it had just opened.On our visit we had a few glasse's of Carling brewery lager's which were very refreshing and well priced.A superb pub in a fantastic area and well worth visiting and its easy to find from Lord street bus stop its a short walk. A quiet and cozy place, excellent, friendly and professional staff. A very positive experience

A great typically Liverpool pub. First came here 1968. Yeh! Problem?! Still great @ May 31 2024.

Went on a Friday night, Fun pub, karaoke was on, everyone was enjoying themselves, atmosphere was great, good size beer garden, prices seemed very good

It was very quiet. Maybe because we were in there early on a Sunday afternoon, but there was only about 5 people in, so we moved on after 1 drink. Good points are the staff are lovely and they show the football

1st time in Liverpool, visited this bar because it is mentioned in one of my favourite songs- The Ballad of North John Street by Ian prowse. I can't rate this place highly enough!! I've been to over 30 countries, I know a good pub when I see one!! Special shout out to Trish the barmaid, who genuinely put Liverpool in a special place in my heart. Think, genuine folk, old style bar, great prices for a city centre pub. I'll be back soon!!

Weekday visit. Decent pub and beer. Cheaper than everywhere else around it. Shows the horse racing and isn't to busy in the week

Had a night out here with friends and will definitely be back next time I'm in Liverpool! Loved the music (eighties tunes and stone cold classics) and Karaoke, friendly atmosphere and good vibes.

Great pub forgotten how good it was will be back

We went here a couple of times during our trip to Liverpool. It's a nice, quiet pub off of North John Street. When we went it was in the afternoon so it wasn't very crowded at all. The pub was very clean and the bar staff was very friendly. Had a glass of wine in the back area and we quite enjoyed it. Looking forward to returning.

Great night in the Croc with the vibrant atmosphere and karaoke turns. Nice ale too.

I stumbled upon this pub by accident, it is an old time establishment. On a very warm day it was lovely and cool and the beers were great. It has a secluded outdoor space. It brought back some lovely memories.

A good pub in Liverpool City centre and not far to walk from Liverpool James Street train station and cheap for drink as well one of the cheapest pubs in the city centre

Stopped for drinks late afternoon - very friendly staff. Proper old Liverpool Pub Everywhere clean but not a nice smell of damp and old pub. Only stopped for one as smell not good. Just over the road from Liverpool one and Cavern Walks.

Loved the place really,so much character and got chatting to a really nice barmaid who told me there used to be a disco in the cellar. Went Saturday afternoon which wasn't too busy but had a nice friendly chat with some of the people in there decent beer as well. Will be going again soon

Hi to be honest it was a bit too full for me at the moment with this covid thing still going on. But have been going there for years and have always had a good evening there. Staff are friendly and the atmosphere is good.

Good starting place from work on a Friday, by the business area & happy hour until 6pm. Has a great range of drinks and is also good for the sports lovers, having lots of TV's and the facility for different sports channels at the same time. In the warmer weather, there's the courtyard outside to enjoy, which also has a TV. Recommended
