Bee Hive in Bolton

Came last minute to see if any room in wacky warehouse. Due to the easter school holidays it was very busy however the lady Vikki was really great. She managed to fit us in after around 30 mins during which she pointed me in the direction of the bar where I got a wonderful coffee from Sam/Samuel and snacks for the children. The atmosphere was great the pub was clean and decorated to a high standard showing the local history across the walls. Our vist to wacky was great! Really thought i would have 2 upset children after being told we couldnt get in for over an hour! My own fault for not prebooking, but with the bar close by serving all kinds of foods and snacks it saved us! The wait into wacky was around 25-30 mins all in all thanks to Vikki. Very clean inside wacky warehouse and welcoming didnt smell like sweaty feet like some 🤣 i think the mag lock on the exit door needs to be fixed but as soon as a guest leaves Vikki is on the ball and makimg sure the exit gate is closed keeping everyone safe! Must say we had a great day out l, the wacky passes are a great investment also!

After being in the wacky warehouse we nipped over to the beehive and had a friendly welcome. Katie M looked after us, she was brilliant. Top service

Called in for a quick bite to eat. The burgers are to die for. I was waited on by Katie. Such a pleasant young woman. Really helpful and really quick at her job. Such a credit to your team. Will defo be calling in again.

We visited primarily because we wanted a carvery and had ruled out the Toby carvery in town as being too loud and busy. We were pleasantly surprised and Nathan and Samuel were really helpful - especially about the food allergy (garlic). The rest of the team were lovely too. We were super impressed with chef cooking a few things separately just to ensure that there were no issues. The roast meats were flavoursome and the portions generous. All in all, a great place with a good carvery, and a nice atmosphere.

We booked a table for 12 ten days in advance and we were asked to tell them what everyone wanted no less than 5 days before going. Having done that I had a phone call an hour before we were due to get there telling us that there had been a problem with an oven and that there would be no beef. (We had told them we needed 8 carveries) After another 20 minutes I had another call saying that the turkey was likely to run out as well. While I was calling guests to see what they thought I had another call me telling that the second caller 'had not explained things' very well, and that we could choose other items from the menu. I was also told that there had an unexpected rush earlier in the day and that 6.30pm was a 'late booking'! Is 6.30pm late for a Saturday evening? The place was quiet when we arrived. Given that on a previous visit we had a similar problem because of a fridge that had broken down we all decided that it would be better to go elsewhere. Nowhere else could take such a large group at short notice so we had to settle for takeaway. As this was arranged for my wife's birthday it was all very disappointing.

Fab food and a friendly welcome from the staff at the Bee Hive. This is our third time visiting and the veg on the carvery was as good as always. Particular shout out to Jordan who brought our drinks over for us so we could grab our meals before the carvery shut.

I arrived without a booking early lunchtime on Sunday for a carvery, I was a solo diner with my dog. The carvery was lovely, very tasty, really big portions of tender meat and a huge Yorkshire Pudding. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The facilities were clean, what’s not to like!

My son and I come to the beehive regularly for lunch or tea on sat the service is always excellent and the staff can't do enough to help you Ashley Jordan catlyn and other staff members have excellent customer service skills the food is also excellent and prompt service
