Absolutely gorgeous meal Yet again .lovely place to meet with friends and family . At a cost that dosnt brake the bank. Definitely worth a visit if you haven't before.

Cannot fault the Sunday roasts at all. The taste, price and a pudding to go with it. Food staff make a point of remembering us. Atmosphere of the pub itself is touch and go, depends on the clientele. Its not somewhere I'd go with my kids for a break or a drink. Only for food.

The food here is excellent, great menu, hot tasty, freshly cooked and plenty of it. My Roast meal with all the trimmings, delicious, including a sweet for £8.50, unbelievable value. The pub however is in need of an update, but still worth checking out.

Great local. Not usually packed but the staff and regulars are super friendly. The food is cheap and really really good. Definitely come here for lunch

The first time i visited this pub with my ladies group . For lunch .. the table was ready and waiting for as previously booked . The staff are excellent and so is the food . You have to give it a try . As i will be going again . Its a bit of a problem parking hence it would have got 5 stars .

Went for dinner the other day and I was quite surprised the meals were better than I expected perfect for a little dinner out nice prices and nice deserts all in all a nice place to eat

Been here loads of times for a Sunday lunch, highly recommended reasonable price, tender beef or lamb, lots of other choices and pleasant happy staff, outside tables available, all in all a lovely day. I'll be back!

Just been in here there was 8 of us and the meal was superb and the jam roly poly was to die for,very friendly staff..prices are superb and it's home made too..I was the one with the purple spiky hair lol..

Played with my band at the Royal tonight, bit quiet due to Covid I think but I really enjoyed playing at this pub....nice roomy area with great acoustics...the people & staff are great, very friendly...its a great pub!!🎅

Leaking toilet,no locks on door. Bland food and staff are not very sociable

Yeah it's a nice pub this plus the bar staff are really friendly and they have a nice little function room for rent also.

This is the first visit we've made and safe to say it won't be the last. I took my mum and we thought it would be fairly empty being a Midweek day. How wrong were we? The place was full by the time we got our food.The waitress was ever so pleasant. The food arrived quickly and was piping hot and delightful. The prices of our meals were less than we expected. Will be recommending it to friends.

the food at the royal is excellent and very good value for money. the girls that wait are exceptionally lovely, very pleasant and friendly. i would certainly recommend having lunch here

Not been for a while & it's my loss. The food & drink are cheap but of great quality. The only problem is they only open for lunch, otherwise I'd probably eat here every day.

The food here is great! Home cooked hearty meals like home. You can have a cooked roast dinner and a dessert for under £6.00 what is there possibly to complain about for that?? If you can get that anywhere else send me the details i will go :-)

El partido estaba en @, 2 o'clock con hambre, qué hacer. Respuesta: El Hotel Royal Farnworth. El ambiente era eléctrico, el lager barata y fría. La comida, excelente. Simplemente genial comidas caseras, caliente y delicioso. Inglaterra ganó, así que lo que estaba mal. Yo estaba en Farnworth y no Benidorm.

No dejes que el exterior, parece un poco de un antiguo pub de la ciudad. Como el lugar Tardis este lugar tiene sus secretos. La comida se realiza en una franquicia. La comida es deliciosa, bien propotioned y bien de precio. El único problema es que en un servicio muy concurrido que corra de comida (es muy bueno). Las bebidas son muy bien de precio. El almuerzo.

Family get together for new year's day. Fabulous service amazing food. Highly recommended the most delightful service and food. No rushing to get courses thrown at you unlike some places thank you once again for a fab day x

Booked by email earlier today Super food and very extensive menu something for everyone ,what makes it special is the staff very helpful and friendly very pleasant experience and good value too looking forward to the next visit.

First time i have been here.They have very good staff but the place is not very clean. toilet was dirty. I will try again in near future.

Called in fir an on spec lunch.ordered the home made meat pie with veg. Nice home cooked veg etc but meat in pie was greasy and not very nice
