Good Thai food at a reasonable price. Always smells amazing!

Had numerous thai meals at the unity brook never disapoints

When you get in, you are instantly greeted by friendly neighbours and staff. The food they serve is Thai. It's authentic and enjoying.

Superb quality authentic Thai food.

This is a review specifically on the new restaurant that has opened up by Unity Brook Inn called Thai Korat. Though you can sit both inside or outside of this establishment, we decided to sit outdoors, and it was absolutely comfortable for us, even being so close to the road, we hardly noticed the traffic passing by. The menu is huge! Which is great if you want to explore new dining options, but if you’re undecided, this menu may be slightly overwhelming for you. They offer a vast array of dishes, which cover most dietary options. We decided on something familiar to us and must say, the food was absolutely delicious and true to the Thai-style. The amount of food served was deceiving as you think you might have a relatively small portion, but we were very much full-up and even needed a take-away to take home with us. The nice thing about this establishment is the friendly service and continued customer care during our meals. The extra touch was having the Owner and Chef personally deliver the courses. One thing to note here is that if you order any beverages, they are to be ordered directly from the bar as the restaurant only cater for the food - but this is a very small thing to factor in.

(This is a review of the Thai food part of the pub only) I called in to sort a takeaway, took a whole before I was eventually put on to someone that could take my order. I think they must have 1 number for the pub and the takeaway, they should look at getting a separate number for smoother service. The Thai food was all really nice, authentic, as good as other places we have tried. My only grumble is the price point for some dishes. We just got 4 starter dishes and it was £30...in particular the chicken and prawn toast at £7.95 and only getting 1 slice was disappointing. A lot of Thai places offer a set menu, if they looked at doing that, with a reasonable price point I would try them again, but for now, there are too many other decent takeaways around that are just better value for money for me.

Thai food was recommended, so went with a group of friends. We found an empty table and sat down while my partner ordered drinks. A portly drunk man then sat down at our table with us. I politely told him the space was taken and he said ‘this is my pub, I can sit where I like! he eventually stood up and left but spent the rest of our meal staring at us. Apparently he was the landlord. Food was nice but landlord is very off putting

Nice atmosphere, pleasant staff, Thai food nicely cooked and presented. Tofu stir fry for Sunday lunch 👍👍 delicious. Enjoyed it and would highly recommend it.

Fantastic Friday lunchtime family meal. Great selection but we chose the 2 course for £14.95 as it was our first visit. Friends had been a few times and told us im how good the food was. Definitely will come again probably for an evening experience. No atmosphere due to the time we arrived but the food made up for it !

Part of our Christmas pub crawl, great pint of Cruzcampo, Thai Restaurant at the back of the pub smelt incredible but didn't eat. My first visit back to Kearsley for a pub crawl in a long, long time.

Never had Thai food before in my life but oh boy, what a brilliant introduction!!! Absolutely fabulous and tremendously great value for money. Went yesterday for Sunday lunch (5 adults, 2 kids). The staff were lovely and friendly without being fawning and we had a selection of starters then a main dish. Everyone was blown away! My daughter and her family know a bit about Thai food and they still haven't stopped raving about it. As for me and my wife, our first time, it was exquisite, no other word for it! My only regret is that we're a bit busy this week so might not be able to get back for a couple of days. I would unreservedly recommend this little hidden gem to anybody. I hope it continues to thrive, they deserve every success!

The food was excellent, staff very friendly and prices very reasonable. All the food was presented well, and cooked to a good standard, couldn't fault it in any way. The only niggle was the woman collecting glasses and bottles, she would just lean across regardless of people eating or chatting. I understand the bar staff need to collect the empties, but a simple excuse me would be good. But the food is certainly worth a visit.

The new thai food was incredible, the pint I had was lovely and in a clean glass just feels like a bit of an odd set up but can't wait to go back and try the rest of the menu.

Was a little bit dubious about going to a local pub for Thai food but I'm glad I did. Lovely food, very authentic Thai food full of flavours with price I'm sure everyone will be happy with. And they serve a pretty good pint also. We wife and I will definitely be going again

What a great place to eat , shut your eyes and you are in Thailand, the smells from the kitchen are incredible. If you like Thai food, you MUST eat here.

Brilliant place good beer and excellent food and service

Took some friends to this pub to try the Thai menu that has recently been introduced. The food was beautifully presented, very tasty and the lady taking orders and serving the meals was very friendly and pleasant. Drinks from the bar were very cheap as well. All four of us enjoyed the meal. Though not massive portions it was just right for us and I will certainly return.

A very intimidating pub. Waitresses moaned doing their job, 1 was sacked while we extra there. Food slapped together by a chef who's clearly skilled and under challenged. Bar staff are terrifying and unfriendly Would absolutely avoid

I went there for dinner last week with my sister. The lady that served us was pleasant at first. But when I informed her that there was a hair on my plate she just wiped the hair off and shrugged and shook her head, as if to say ' so what's the problem' she then said, 'so you're not eating it then' . no apology what's so ever. ' and before I get a comment that the hair was on the plate and not in the lasagne, that's true but the salad and garlic bread were in that plate. So to me it was a big deal. I hadn't noticed it at first until I turned the plate. Also the food was awful.

The food was brilliant! Compliments to the chef. Different meals was ordered by all and no complaints. Waiter went beyond to make us feel welcome and to make sure that we had everything that was needed. Really enjoyed it and will be visiting Unity Brook Inn as often as I can do (for food)

Great customer service. Lovely goats cheese salad and my fiancé said his chicken, bacon, mayo & cheese melt was the best sandwich he’s ever eaten.

Went for a lovely dinner with my boyfriend and what a meal! Absolutely stunning, one of the best meals I've had in a long time, great portion sizes, clean and tastes amazing! Staff are so lovely and accommodating too! Would recommend, high standards!

We came on Monday 28th March For some lunch for my brothers birthday We have eaten here several times but so so disappointed on Monday b Myself and sister in law had salads I had the warm goats cheese i did think it would come in cubes rather then just stuck on the salad the salads themself had far to much vinaigrette dressing on as you got further down it was like just eating fork full of vinegar, but the desserts was the most disappointing sticky toffee pudding with cream and an eaten mess both served on side plates the plate with the eaten mess was o obviously warm when making it again I thought an eaten mess was chopped up meringue not a big blob on the plate and the cream had melted before it reach me and was falling off the side of the plate neither of us finished them as it was hard work with a spoon on plate catching it before it fell of the plate having worked in kitchens in pubs for many years before retirement woul d have been better served in bowls really sorry for the review but will not come again

6 of us enjoyed a excellent mother's day lunch here on Sunday. Had mixed roast dinner, ham and beef, and really enjoyed it. Recommended.

Worst roast dinner I’ve had. Meat was hard and chewy. Veg was dry and hard. Table was sticky and pub was not clean. Left most of it.

Had a lovely meal here last Sunday from the Christmas menu although would have liked more than 2 roast spuds! Service and staff was great although cannot understand why we were told we couldn’t order a drink from our table and had to go to the bar ourselves. This wouldn’t be a problem unless you are halfway through your meal and then have to queue at the bar. Food was freshly prepared and piping hot. Great value for money too. Decor very dated and could do with an update but don’t let that put you off as well worth a visit.

me and partner were passing through on a long journey and decided to stop in for a drink and to use the toilet. we went to the toilet first and then we’re gonna order drinks. the girl at the bar showed us where they were and the man sat at the bar, i can only assume was the landlord or boss or something. started screaming and shouting at us telling us to get out because we hadn’t bought a drink yet. didn’t let us get a word in edgeways to explain we were going to buy one before calling us all the names under the sun and said he was sick of picking up dirty needles and nappy’s from people using the toilets. we have never been here before and are not from this area so i’m unsure why he felt so personally offended by us coming in. I was extremely scared of this man as he was a big guy and have never been treated like this before.

We’ve been to a few pub/restaurants since we moved to Kearsley about 5 years ago and can say honestly this is the best Great choice on the menu. (❤️❤️ The Sunday roast it’s amazing) It has a warm happy atmosphere and the staff are lovely.

The chef was wonderful, all the food was handmade and presented beautifully. Most importantly, the food was delightful.

I visited with friends for lunch. All the food is home made and delicious, service is excellent and reasonable priced. Will be going again. Highly recommend.

OMG! Where to start. We had set off for a different pub, but they weren't serving, so this was Plan B. Fabulous food, more than adequate portions. Super staff. Would rate 12 out of 10. Will definitry be back!!!!!!!

When you arrive at this place for the first time the car park is a bit confusing and the pub looks a bit run down. You are greeted by a bunch of friendly smokers at the door and it's like walking in to a bit of a dive. Do not let this put you off. The people are lovely and friendly, both staff and clientele, and the food is just delicious home cooked fayre and served in nice big portions. We all really enjoyed a delicious, relaxed family tea.

Food and beer OK, service slow, refused to give us a drink of tap water with our meals and drinks, although I think they are obliged to if asked.

The beer and food were excellent but we were rather surprised to be told that we could not have two glasses of tap water... I thought pubs were legally required to provide tap water if asked?

We went for the first time with friends, the staff was lovely, couldn't do enough for us. Food was all home cooked very nice. I will definitely go again. There is also a play area outside so if you go with kids they can play.
