Very good hotel, located just next door to The London Palladium. Only issue is the night porters can take some time to answer the night bell. Great roof terrace. Lobby bar is situated next to the original cells. Room we had was excellent, very quiet, cleaned well and comfortable. Reception staff and concierge very good.

our experience was good and we wanted to praise our lovely polite very helpful waiter Sal. He made our experience evan better, although there was a wait on our food (down to the kitchen) he made us so comfortable and humoured us, we didn't mind the wait. Food was good. Thanks Sal for your great service 👍

Came to the barbican to enjoy the sunset scenery on the rooftop area. I came as a walk-in; Dorina sat me down and helped me out with a few questions I had about the drinks. She was so sweet! I ended up ordering crispy pork bites and mashed potatoes with Harri who was a great chat and took the precautions to ask me if I had any allergies or dietary restrictions. Welcoming and kind energy all around the workplace. It was a bit breezy so I asked to get my food reheated (I know a bit of a hassle) but Dorina was kind to do so! 🥰 Lastly Marion (my waitress) was really attentive constantly throughout my stay if I had any further enquiries. She came to ask me if im enjoying my food so far, and it was quite filling but so delicious!! If you are looking for a splendid view, you should definitely give this a try!

Title: A Disgrace to British Hospitality – Avoid at All Costs I don't write reviews often, but the New Armouries Café practically begged for it with how catastrophically bad it was. This place is a masterclass in how not to run a café. Overpriced, underwhelming, and a disgrace to British hospitality — I wouldn’t feed this food to a stray dog. Let’s start with the salmon bagel. It was a limp, sad excuse for a meal. The bread was chewy like rubber, the salmon tasted like it had been defrosted in a microwave two days ago, and the whole thing reeked of neglect. There was no freshness, no flavor, and absolutely no care in preparation. Calling it a “bagel” is borderline fraud. Now the Swedish meatballs — I have no idea what country these were supposed to represent, but it wasn’t Sweden. These things were dry, gritty, and tasted like they were scooped out of a school cafeteria trash bin and reheated. The sauce was an unidentifiable, salt-loaded sludge that clung to everything like wallpaper paste. Horrific. And the service? Utterly indifferent. Tables were filthy, trays were stacked high with leftovers no one had cleared, and staff seemed to be in a permanent state of annoyance. You could ask for cutlery and be met with a sigh like you'd just ruined their day. For a café inside one of the UK’s most iconic landmarks, this is beyond embarrassing. It’s a tourist trap, plain and simple. High prices for food that wouldn’t even pass at a motorway service station. Shame on whoever manages this place. Save your money. Save your dignity. Eat literally anywhere else. Hell, I’d take a soggy supermarket sandwich in the rain over setting foot in this overpriced disaster again!

Great spot for a drink and good food! Went for the lunch deal which did not disappoint - tasty food and great value for money with the deal. We sat in the sunny roof terrace before the sun went in. Inside has a nice atmosphere with lovely staff - will be back again soon!

My friend and I had afternoon tea at The Coral Room today and it was such a lovely experience. All the food and drinks were so good and the lovely Emma looked after us and she made the whole experience so nice - we felt very well looked after!!
