The best restaurants serving British food in London

Best coffee around the area. Very friendly staff and great music selection! Oh they have absolutely stunning icecream now, probably the best I have tried in London (and I have tried a lot!!)

I will admit to being skeptical about this place, as I’d generally avoid salad on any menu, however I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and taste of the salad and it felt like a substantial lunch. That said, the pricing is frankly obscene at around £12 - this is easily double the cost of other (already expensive) lunch options and it’s a shame that healthy food is priced with a “hipster premium” now. Sadly I won’t be returning or recommending simply because I don’t believe it offers value for money

He frecuentado Sobo varias veces, hemos tenido el raro pero principalmente por una bebida caliente en el pasado camino. La comida es muy agradable, cocinados a la orden y es la mejor lattè al sur del río. Creo que es un establecimiento familiar y el personal son muy amables y tienen parecía recordar mi pedido ahora! !

Slow service. Rude staff. Got the order wrong on the last 2 occasions. And to top it off. Got another customers order wrong while I was there. Not enough staff. And inexperienced

Always freshly cooked. Service not to bad although they do get mixed up sometimes. Food always hot and portion can be a little to big sometimes

Tuve el brunch dominical más delicioso aquí. Personal agradable Gran lugar al aire libre. Justo en el canal. Tienes que tocar la puerta del puente para acceder

Visited here on Friday afternoon past for drinks and again on Saturday evening for dinner. The customer service is excellent, great choice of drinks and food. Food is freshly cooked. Great atmosphere. Certainly recommend.

Superb healthy and sustaining food either for lunch or a snack. I use Pret a Manger outlets in many different towns and find them consistently good

Encantador. Fui con mi hijo a un almuerzo de cumpleaños por la tarde. Un poco caro (£ 6. 00 por un langostino) , pero volvería a pagarlo. Dos bocados escandalosamente sabrosos. Hamburguesa Dexter - cállate. Sin duda uno de los mejores de Londres. Personal de primera. Muy amable y acogedor. Yo volveré.

First visit and hope to be back - indoor and outdoor seating available. Toilet facilities at side of cafe (query park managed). Good quick service and range of food / drinks. A little pricey but probably in keeping with the area. Good views over the park. Would prefer a pot of tea (small cup at £2.75 definitely needs reviewing).

Had a craving for a proper jam doughnut. Nothing fancy - just the real deal. But this was the nastiest doughnut ever. The cashier said it was full to the brim with raspberry jam. I asked if it was light and fluffy or just a ring doughnut and he said very light and a proper doughnut. What a load of BS. This was a dry dense ring doughnut with no more than a heaped teaspoon of jam in the middle. And to make matters worse it had cinnamon sugar. Anyone who knows anything about Jammie Doughnuts knows you ONLY use sugar. Nothing else. So this was a nasty dry dense cinnamon sugared ring doughnut with a cheap pathetic sticky paste poor excuse for jam. And the thieving b*stards charged £4.50 for the ordeal. Do NOT waste your money. Get a 50p doughnut from Tesco instead!

Thoroughly enjoyable, well cooked sirloin with lovely roast potatoes, pigs in blankets and sprouts to accompany. Was lovely warming comfort food on a wintery day. I understand the reviews raising issue about the toilets however I assume this is an issue for all of the units at that site.
