Thoroughly enjoyable, well cooked sirloin with lovely roast potatoes, pigs in blankets and sprouts to accompany. Was lovely warming comfort food on a wintery day. I understand the reviews raising issue about the toilets however I assume this is an issue for all of the units at that site.

Everything thing was great, staff were charming and food was lovely. However, the lack of toilet facilities and the need to use the public facilities complete with skunk smoking youths and highly unsanitary conditions was outrageous. This will stop us from returning and the fact it was not made apparent anywhere before we booked suggests that you are aware this is a problem. I’d remedy it by re modelling or moving or I fear you will not last long which would be a real shame.

I came here with high hopes, unfortunately it did not live up to the expectation. Firstly, as I am sure most reviewers will point out, the restaurant doesn't have a toilet - it is two floors away in the public area opposite. I think this will greatly disappoint any guest with a bladder and, I expect on busier days, is an absolute nightmare. The food itself was lovely, though i felt the menu was lacking. There is only 2 steak options (not counting the sharer), Bavette or Rump, both of which are very lean - I would have hoped for a Sirloin or Ribeye option, given the nature of the restaurant. There are also no "traditional" sauces, e.g. peppercorn, béarnaise, bordelaise, mushroom, though I appreciate this may be a particular decision made by them. The choice of sides I think also is weak, the potatoes I had were also undercooked and not crispy at all. They do not allow you to opt for how your steak is cooked, simply giving the option of "Pink or Well Done" which I find a little precious/unnecessary. With the uber competitive steak market in London, I don't see how this restaurant will fit in. Sizing up against places like Blacklock, Flat Iron, Hawksmoor, Goodman etc, you need to bring a lot to the table, which I do not believe (in it's current early stage), this restaurant does. I think a change of location would be essential for any chance of success, if not purely because of the lack of in-house toilet facilities.

Despite fabulous food, the dining experience at GrassFed was a real let down. I booked a table for two several weeks ago for my birthday so was annoyed to be seated at the bar, which wasn’t what we had expected. The restaurant is split over two levels with the upstairs, having a really buzzy vibe, however, the downstairs is much more ‘functional’. We requested to sit upstairs however were unapologetically told that it was full and that wouldn’t be possible. We were offered a table for two in the downstairs, however the table was right by the stairs with people queueing and going up and down, so this wasn’t appealing either. We ended up having to sit at the bar - when I booked I should have been told it was bar seating only. Nobody apologised or seemed to care very much at all that we were frustrated. I was really quite shocked that the restaurant doesn’t have a toilet! You have to leave and go up 2 flights of stairs to use public lavatories which were filthy and covered in urine. Really unpleasant and not what you expect when going out for a nice evening out and spending a fair amount of money. I felt really uncomfortable with my wife having to walk up to the loos alone in Camden late at night. I don’t understand why they don’t have a toilet onsite!? Lastly from our bar seats we had a great view of the Henry vacuum cleaner and cleaning materials that were left on show…weird! The experience was a real let down as the steak we had was fabulous- really great food. (The steak tartare starter isn’t a traditional tartare which was a shame). I’d love to go back for the food but the team really needs to sort out the operational side of things and dining experience which really lets it down. Shame.

Visited for a late lunch on a Sunday afternoon. It wasn’t busy and we sat at the counter to enjoy the cooking experience as well as the food. Service was friendly and efficient although not speedy given the dearth of customers. We ordered the Sunday lunch ‘special’ of sirloin of beef with hasselback potato with a Caesar dressed green salad and a pork croquette to start. Both the starters were perfectly acceptable although the salad was a meagre portion. The main was presented as a single slice of sirloin, less than 1cm thick, for each of us and a single potato cut in two for us to share. We also each had a 10cm log of leek cut into three pieces. At £30 each for the main(plus extra for sauces) we felt this was very poor value for money. We tried this restaurant after watching the chef on James Martin’s show. I’m not sure how Mr. Martin would respond if given such a portion but I’m not sure it would be printable. If you want to try this restaurant I suggest you get there quick as I very much doubt it will still be there in a year’s time. Oh, and they don’t have a lavatory on site - you have to use the public lavatories in the food court across the way - a long queue (10 mins minimum) and no paper.

Great steak! Lovely roasties and refreshing tasty salad. Friendly staff, enjoyed seeing the chefs cook our food too. The only downside is no toilet facilities on site. I was directed to the public toilets up 2 flights of stairs, had to queue for 10 mins, toilets were disgusting and no running water. Once finally seated we really enjoyed our meal.

Stunning steak, the Sriracha butter is beautiful and the beef fat butter on Sourdough toast was a great way to start the meal. Great to be able to sit at the kitchen bar and watch the chef cook the food on the coals!

Sushi at a train station. You know what you're in for, but still easy to be disappointed.

. Volveré muy pronto. . gracias

I highly recommend it! The place is located on the upper level of the station building. Don't let the tables outside fool you - it's nice, warm and cozy there :) you can eat very good burgers there, of the grade you choose. French fries included, delicious :) and three jars of sauces. A big plus for a glass of water with black coffee :)

Although I am yet to test the food, the atmosphere and services were both worthy of a five star rating. I shall definitely be returning for a full review. A breath of fresh air and slight departure from the prestige of typical Hampstead hospitality.
