The Edinboro Castle in Camden

Dan W made this night so good! We come here often with wor,k, and have never received the Level of service that he provided. He made our experience so much better than usual. A friendly face, & top class service. He delivered our bottle (of the cheapest rosè) to our table!! Was great. I hope he gets the recognition he deserves. Thanks. Xx

Great pub away from the craziness of the Camden market. Fabulous Sunday roast, great beer selection and plenty of seating indoor and huge ber garden.

Been there quite a few times in the last 15 years or so. Food is descent for a pub but not something you will remember later. The main issue with the pub is noise, there is no music to cover all the voices and, especially inside, you constantly hear screams and yelling and voices from all the tables and the people at the bar. Also too many tvs for a non-sports bar.

Went here for a few drinks, the place was buzzing, the beer garden was full. Me and my mates had a fair few drinks, good selection, staff all friendly. Later on we had food, it was better than I expected. They had these potato rosti chip things, they were great!

Gorgeous terrace / beer garden in the sun. Service is quick and friendly. Gem. Ask for Brie the bartender, she's great!

Loud and overpriced - food was ok. The waitress kept coming to stand on an empty chair at our table to reach some electronic equipment and try to fix it. Watch for the sky 10% service charge when paying through the app.

He estado en este pub un par de veces, pero me sorprendió el trato recibido hoy. Los últimos pedidos fueron llamados a las 11 pm y a partir de las 11 . A la 01 PM el personal de seguridad estaba molestando a la gente para que se fuera de una manera agresiva e intimidatoria. A partir del 11. 05 pm básicamente te amenazan con irte. Como pub que pretende ser un pub británico tradicional pensé que aceptarían el concepto de 10-15 minutos de “tiempo de copas”, pero no, se han convertido en otra copia plástica de las cosas de las que solíamos estar orgullosos. Mantente alejado y busca lugares que demuestren que respetan tanto sus orígenes como a sus clientes.

Outdoor space is big and there are lots of seats. The pub has a lovely vibe, and staff are friendly

Just spent a very chilled couple hours here with a friend. A very warm welcome and delicious food!! Do try the haddock and chips!!

food ok, but waited 45 minutes for it to arrive. Also, it was £13.20 for a large glass of Shiraz red wine, expensive even by London standards. Bar maid tried to pour me a cheaper inferior Merlot wine whilst still charging me for the higher priced Shiraz, before i pointed out her error..

They do pitchers of beer! It is any beer you want. Feel like a real man with massive ones and neck it straight from the jug as a megapint. Great place in general too.

This was a rescheduled Xmas meal with old friends! Great food and drink, friendly and helpful service and a cosy open fire. A great way to spend a Saturday afternoon!

The staff were friendly and welcoming. They were attentive without being overbearing and didn't push us to order quickly or rush in any way. We had a wonderful relaxed catch up next to the fire on a cold winters day. The food was delicious and we all agreed it would be our meet up venue of choice.

Very cosy and relaxing place! Pricey, but worth an afternoon after payday.

Had a quick visit there last Sunday (22/12/2024) Had a REALLY good Bloody Mary (2 actually!) made by the extremely personable Luke-what an asset to the place! Roast Pork was ok-run out (?) of Apple Sauce though 👎🏽 Overall a decent place 👍🏽

Didn’t eat but had drinks on a chilly December day. The pub had a great vibe, I had a gin cocktail that was delicious and Abi (Abbi?) the server was very sweet and helpful. Would certainly recommend for stopping by if you’re in the area and even going out of your way to would be worth it!

Had an excellent experience on our Christmas lunch event. Food and service was fantastic as was the organisation of our event which very well handled and accommodating for various food intolerances and last minute additions to numbers. Cannot recommend more

I organised a work event at The Edinboro Castle. The atmosphere was very cosy and food delicious. The staff was great and very attentive. I don't remember all the names, but wanted to give a shout out to Preethi!

Had Sunday roast and drinks here on a couple different occasions. Food was very good and the service was good. Luke was awesome and we were welcomed any time we went on our vacation.

Muy decepcionante para el almuerzo. Antes de ir a este lugar había revisado en línea para ver el menú y también revisé su menú de alérgenos. Lamentablemente, al llegar lo que estaba en la página de alérgenos en su sitio web no estaba en el menú real, algo no se había actualizado cuando el menú cambió. No tenían opciones reales para alguien que no puede tener gluten o lácteos. Entonces pedí a regañadientes una hamburguesa sin el bollo, ya que no tenían bollos sin gluten. Lo que llegó fue nada menos que una abominación. Una hamburguesa seca con queso derretido barato encima. Se suponía que venía con varios ingredientes pero ninguno de estos llegó solo una olla horrible de salsa de hamburguesa barata en lugar de lo prometido en el menú. No hay chequeos de comida. ¡Mi amiga que había pedido una opción sin lácteos hizo que la suya llegara cubierta de queso parmesano! Cuando inicialmente había ido a hacer preguntas sobre esto en el bar, uno de los empleados fue muy grosero y presentado como juicioso y arrogante. Uno de los jóvenes caballeros detrás de la barra era excepcional, super servicial y en general encantador durante toda la estancia. ¡El otro tipo (rastas o cola de caballo creo) podría aprender una o dos cosas de él! En general, la comida era de mala calidad y no vale la pena el precio. Para un pub londinense en una ubicación tan estupenda, definitivamente no atiende alergias y la calidad no vale la pena comer. No recomendaría y súper decepcionante. Aparte de la comida, la actitud realmente se arruinó para mí
